Yansuf
Re: Vixen, an Urban Champion I haven't digested 6th edition yet, so this may be obvious to those who have. How do you get the gadget pool control cost down to 30 pts? You show two (-1/4), so -1.5 more are required. Are "Only change at base" and "Only carry so many (how many?) gadgets" both given listed values?

Are "Only change at base" and "Only carry so many (how many?) gadgets" both given listed values? the new rules split control from pool (They are now independent of each other) Control costs 2 points per 1 character point so for 30 control it is 15 points, apply cosmic to it you get 45 points, apply .5 worth of limits that reduces the cost to 30. Add the Pool to the 30 points (45 in this case) for a net of 75 real points each point of control is the maximum of active points allowed in a power in the pool
bubba smith
Re: Vixen, an Urban Champion shouldn't vixen be described as a dark champion not urban champion?
JmOz
Re: Vixen, an Urban Champion I actualy thought about that issue for a bit, but when it comes down to it the game while more street level is going to be about super heroes, admitingly more like Batman or Daredevil, but it is using the superheroic rules set and is being set at the low powered supers level. It just seemed more appropriate to me In some ways when I refer to Urban Champions I am refering to what they call Dark Champions The animated series...But I HATE THAT NAME WITH A RAGE THAT BURNS LIKE A THOUSAND SUNS. bubba smith
Re: Vixen, an Urban Champion why not call it animated champions?
JmOz
Re: Vixen, an Urban Champion why not call it animated champions? because it is not animated Because the genre I am trying to play in, while it may be influenced by certain cartoons is equaly if not more influenced by a certain type of super hero comic book (which is why I consider it part of champions) Because it is to similar to animation Hero, which would be my version of SJH's TOON

JmOz
Re: Vixen, an Urban Champion then would ACTION CHAMPIONS work/ Action Hero is what I call what is normaly refered to around here as Dark Champions. This to me is different. Just because it focuses on street level characters does not make it any less champions to me instead of what is normaly called dark champions. Characters like Luke cage, spider-man or Rand would be appropriate for instance

JmOz
Re: Vixen, an Urban Champion Some more background, Vivian was adopted by the Hero known as the Fox after her policeman father died saving him. She proved to be a prodigy, good at almost anything she tried to do. Her natural aptitude for the research aspect of crimefighting made her a capable partner to the fox. As she aproached adulthood, she eventualy left to go to college. Where she decided to update her identidy and establish her own heroic legacy. In honor of the Fox she called herself "The Vixen" Then she got "the call" from Charles (Fox's buttler and confident). He had been hurt, hurt bad, she was home on the next flight, now 6 months later crime is worse than ever in Hudson, and a team is being assembled
