This would actually be a neat idea for a genre book. A shorter one, like Urban Fantasy, with mini settings (where you can use ALL of them at the same time! :)) but dealing with the specific issues of porting characters who are moving around genres and settings.

 

Even GURPS has issues with this. Unusual Background and all that.
