Killer Shrike
A lot of the HEROGlyphs material from Digital HERO has found its way into the core rules or the APG. I had hoped that the Object Creation Power described in Digital HERO #7, or something filling the same niche, would be in APG but if it is I haven't found it yet. Anyone else think it a useful addition to the game or am I alone on this one? Granted, part of the functionality of Object Creation is covered by Barrier now, but there is still a good chunk of things it could do besides that. Sean Waters
Re: No love for the Object Creation Power? (Digital HERO #7) I think there is a definite place for an object creation power. I have not seen the DH version though. As you say, Barrier is a limited form of object creation (and transform can do the trick too) - I suppose the 'problem' with object creation is 'game balance' - the opportunity to make a lot of other powers less useful - but I'm increasingly of the opinion we should not worry too much about game balance - let the GM worry about that if it becomes a problem. APG2, pehaps?
dmjalund
Re: No love for the Object Creation Power? (Digital HERO #7) can't you adapt the Transform power, or use a summon.
Sean Waters
Re: No love for the Object Creation Power? (Digital HERO #7) You certainly can use those powers, and possibly others, to build something like an object creation power, but it might be handy to have a single set of rules for object creation under a single heading. I think it would be a useful tool for the box.
