Now I know where Tolkien's Elves ended up. ;)

 

This is a splendid example of the kind of long-term planning our ancestors undertook, which so much of our modern culture has lost sight of. Instead of building infrastructure over a year or two with a planned obsolescence of a couple of decades, these people patiently spend generations crafting works intended to function for centuries. :thumbup:
