Dino
I'm trying to find a good location for a magic/curio shop in an urban fantasy game set in Hudson City. The image I have in mind is an old victorian building in a formerly residential area turned touristy shopping place. Similar to many parts of San Francisco or other cities with an "old town". Any ideas?
Nolgroth
Re: Where to put a victorian mansion/store front in Hudson City? Guilford. Close to the University.
Dino
Re: Where to put a victorian mansion/store front in Hudson City? Good idea. I was thinking of Mint Ridge near the park, but re-reading it's history it seems like the houses there would be to modern. Apparently Hudson City doesn't really have an old town due to fires, riots, and the fact that most of it's neighborhoods started out as separate villages that grew together. Hawknight
Re: Where to put a victorian mansion/store front in Hudson City? The oldest buildings being used as storefront/restaurants are in the Avenue of the Elms in Worthington. A whole street block of old townhouses converted to businesses. A bookstore already exists, but could be sublimated for your game.
