Sean Waters
Re: Hunter's Eye By 'meta-effect' I just meant hat 'danger' is not something that you can usefully define inside the game, it requires a value judgement outside the game: what is perceived as dangerous by one person may not (rightly or wrongly) be perceived as dangerous by another: Don't be daft, they couldn't hit an elephant from ther.....urrrgghh! What that means is that it is up to the GM to determine when there is danger, and how remote that is, it does not have defined in-game parameters in the same was as 'Detect Gold' would. Christopher
Re: Hunter's Eye I find the "detect gold" less defined and requiring more GM say. What for example, would it bring you to have "Detect Gold, Sense Targetting" when you are blinded but fight against a foe with gold-teeth? Would knowing the position of the single teeth be enough to fight without penalty? Danger Sense is clearly "to prevent the target from being suprised in combat". Wich means he has an additional sense/chance to detect the ambush/supirse attack before it happens. If the amunition would even be dangerous to him is not even a question, just the fact that he would be suprised by the attack is enough.
