Just two thoughts... 1) I do not believe the battle of Detroit happened in the Circle world. This doesn't mean you need to re-write so much as make it a more local event that destroyed less then the city (a city block or two, though, would be just fine). 2) You head your posting that this is a 6th edition character, though the PC is 5th edition.
