Character Concept:

Thomas and Rick Andrews grew up in San Diego. To say that Thomas was the smartest of the twin would be an understatement, but Rick was no slouch either. Thomas graduated two years earlier and completed four doctorates before Rick began University. Rick was also the jock of the two and played Football, Basketball, and Soccer with the same passion his twin possessed for science.

 

Late one evening Rick went to pick up his twin to take him home for thanksgiving diner VIPER Agents attacked Thomas's Lab. Not willing to abondon his brother he attacked them from behind. Meanwhile inside his twin revealed why VIPER had attacked when the Shield, a local Superhero tore through the VIPER Agents to rescue his twin trying to rescue him. The appearence of the Steel Commando turned the battle against the brothers and Thomas was badly wounded. Other Superheroes and SWAT began to arrive and VIPER pulled out.

 

Thomas asked his twin to take the Battlesuit and hide it. On the way to the hospital the Steel Commando attacked the ambulance enroute, but were foiled again by the Shield. This time Rick defeated them and turned them over to the Police. That night in the recovery room Thomas and Rick talked. Rick would become the new Shield while Thomas dedicated his time and effort as HERO Support and his Research.

In Character 20 Questions

 

1. Who were your parents? Did they raise you? If not why? If not them who? What is your current relationship with the person/people?

 

 

2. Did you have any childhood friends? Any siblings? Where are they now (if you know)? Do you stay in touch? Why or why not?

 

 

3. What sort of childhood did you have? Try to give more than one word for a response. "Normal" isn't as good as "I had an uneventful suburban childhood with no major family drama to speak of."

5. Prior to becoming a superhero, what did you do for a living? Were you trained to be a superhero? By whom? What sort of relationship did you have with your mentor/master?

 

 

6. (This is a hard one) What are your ethical beliefs? Moral beliefs? These can vary greatly. There were Samurai, for example, that valued honor above even their own safety.

I like the character but I noticed a problem with the build. The radio, life support, and UV vision cost end. Not cost end to start - so every phase you need to maintain it. Unless you are maintaining the end cost, you will be susceptible to gas attacks and will not receive radio communications. You should probably not use that limitation on these constant powers.

Not even "costs end to activate" might be enough. Afaik only a power that costs no endurance at all can be persistent.
