Rumbane
While trying to recreate the Lycanthropic Regeneration example, I noticed it's priced for the Limitation: Does Not Work On Some Damage (Two or More Types of Damage) yet lists only Silver Weapons. Am I missing something?
Lord Liaden
I remember Steve Long explaining the value of a lycanthropic Vulnerability to silver, which was listed as Common rather than Uncommon, as being because so many people are aware of the convention that lycanthropes are hurt more by silver. That may be why the Limitation is considered applicable in this case. Sometimes a GM should vary the defaults for Limitations based on the prevailing conditions in his campaign. Rumbane
Cool. So if say this were fey regen instead with a vulnerability to cold iron it'd likely get ruled uncommon yes?
Christougher
Uncommon seems about right. If the Regen's weakness were not well known or not easily exploitable, it would be even less common and worth a lower limitation. On the other hand, if the everyone knows the weakness and all weapons are cold iron, it would be more common and worth more of a limitation. Chris.
