I was looking at the Ultimate titles. Some appear to be 5e - some HERO Plus. In particular, The Ultimate Super Mage (H+). Is this title perfectly valid for 5e or are there things I'll need to know? Or is it Fuzion? Or 4e? It all sounds rather confusing.

While trying to recreate the Lycanthropic Regeneration example, I noticed it's priced for the Limitation: Does Not Work On Some Damage (Two or More Types of Damage) yet lists only Silver Weapons. Am I missing something?

With noob questions. Let's say I'm playing a Blood Mage & all my spells have a limitation on them requiring the drawing of blood with a silver dagger. Usually this means drawing my own blood. Prick a finger, cut my palm or w/e. Would this be a Zero Phase Action, a No Time Action or no action at all? Would you consider this Damage & if so what kind? Can the Power be built so it can still be used without the dagger but less efficiently? Let's say some of these powers are set in a Framework. One summons a swarm of spiders, one summons an earth elemental. If I understand correctly, in order to use Growth on these, I would have to buy Growth twice - once for each - & growth would have to be bought outside the Framework they are in yes?

As a noob here & a non-GM I'd prefer this flipped. I am of the opinion the book would sell best if the meta rules on how to build things was in a secondary source. I personally think those rules would benefit sales best by going OGL but that's a bold bold step to take. Rather, point to CC. This book should be prefab races, spells, classes (leave words like template or package out please) etc. Want to compete with the top fantasy lines? Emulate their presentation. Emulate their grammar. Throw the basics in on how to upgrade Magic Missile but don't confuse folks with long passages on how to build it from the ground up. Also, in fantasy most folks come to the table with either a race or class (or both) in mind. Rather than say being a dwarf costs 20 or whatever points, show how many points a dwarf has to spend on their Standard build. This is a minor thing but it helps people think race (therefore The Game) before points (System). Game, then system rather than System, then Game.

I did a bit of searching but didn't quite find anything that matched what I was looking for. This is actually for a Champions game but here seemed the more appropriate place to ask. So - if you were to let a player play an illithid what would make a fair approximation using the standard point array in Champions?

AKA Iron Man minus the man. I've been invited to play my first Champions game (4e), & while I kinda had some academic familiarity with 4th edition a good 15 years or so ago, I can't find my books. The GM will write my character up for me, but I want to get a feel for whether or not I'm wasting both our time with my concept. Let's say I want to play a character whose base form is merely a psychic consciousness held in a 'psychic bell jar' linked to x cryopods holding bodies I can inhabit. Some Powers & Skills are in my base character & some in my Multi-Forms (let's say for now there are 2 Multi-Forms but with the possibility that I may unlock others further down the road. I would want to buy back all my Base Physical Characteristics to 1 yes? I'm concerned that with the things I'll want to do in the mid-to-long term that while I might make a fair jack-of-all-trades (Multi-Forms covering several of the Archetypes like Brick, Weapon Master so on), that I'm going to end up rather weak in comparison to everyone else when huge chunks of my points will be sitting off-stage in their stasis chambers. Is there a hard point of diminishing returns I should know about? Will I be spending so many of my points into my Multi-Forms just to stay on-par that I won't be able to invest in say a ship or other secondary interests?
