  1. One of the most interesting powersets I played was along the lines of an 'earth elemental type'.

He had your basic earth control, earth shields, flying rock blasts, etc. However, he also had X-Ray vision-only through natural rock/earth. He also had free movement through rock/earth (with both of these abilities, he could essentially 'fight' from underground). Ride on earth waves, mini-earthquakes. He also had an 'Earth-sense', he could tell where things were and information about them, if they were touching the earth within a certain radius.

Nope. I think he's pretty lame. All that power, all those agents, all that gear... and he still doesn't win.

Following the official timeline, I believe DD has only appeared 3 times. I would call killing 50000+ innocents and a dozen superheroes a big victory from a 'villain' point of view.

Lordy, thats right. I forgot about his Presence attack.

The villain Teleios has a 50 INT I believe. Now THAT is smart.

  5. While it is clearly not what the showdown is about, I think there are many voters who can't get past the disparate power levels of these two teams. The Guard has far more power and experience it seems.

Nighthawk and Caliburn were the most evenly matched, so Nighthawk had the greatest chance of victory for the Champions.

I can't explain the Kinetik loss, except maybe voters didn't accept that he was part of the Champions.

For myself, I still can't get past the Blue Falcon and Dorothy of Kansas images of Nighthawk and Ironclad.

Well, you get access to the Beta version of HeroMachine2 if you make a $10 "donation". ;)

And yes, it is much better than Heromachine 1, except it only has one pose each for males and females. It also hasn't had much done to the site in almost a year. Unfortunately, Mr. Hebert has been too busy to do any more work on it.

That's what I did, I have upwards of 2500 scanned superhero images on my computer. It was a hard choice.

Looks like you used Gamma, the Atom Smasher from Freedom City for yours, Mono.

*I'll heap praise upon someone who can guess who I used for my avatar. He's known, but somewhat obscure.*
