    • and most of all: a main publisher who will coordinate and oversee all this with a single vision and whip cracking to get it all together

I'm no artist, can write and edit if needed, could design characters if needed, not sure what a proofer does (so I'd probably do no good there) and have no publishing experience.

I am however, out of work since 2012, love the Hero System, Champions, and supers in general. And am willing to work for free!  So give me something to do on this project! (please, I'm bored and begging you!)

  1. Even though its written for Dark Champions, I have based my campaign in Hudson City. I left everything as written, and just added real supers. Gives the supers a real world feel behind them. However, they are usually too busy with the bigger bad-guys to mess with the lower powered, that is usually left for the street level vigilantes, sometimes a super or two wind up involved with happenings in the city. Those times are when only one or two of the players can make a session.

My group has travelled to most of the published cities at one time or another.

  2.  Been awhile since I posted anything useful on the forums, (and some may say still haven't aftere reading this! LOL) so I thought I'd share the following.

I was looking for a villian to put into a specific storyline, and remembered the Ram from Enimies of San Angelo. Don't know why, but I've always liked this guy. No particular reason, he's not that spectacular really. Anyway, I took out and dusted off my copy of the book, opened my HD, and this is what I came up with for 6E for him.  I did this awhile ago, but if I remember correctly, I didn't have to make many if any at all changes as he pretty much came up to 400 pts as it was.

    Edited:

Gave him the Tackle and changed the CSL to work with Tackle like Hyper-Man suggested. (Was a great idea actually!)

Also downloaded the text export he suggested and posted the results above.

I also posted the updated HDC file.

    Thanks for the insight Hyper-Man!

  3. Victory Peak? Hmmm, visions of Laura Parker, Twin Peaks, and Bob have flooded my brain!! Could easily incorporate some of the plot-lines (minus the super-natural influences). A mystrious murder, multiple plot twist, a super-powered madman... could work into a good storyline or side plot. Heck, I just may use this!

  4. Thank you for the kind words, but I have to disagree.  All I'm doing is "prettying up" an already awesome body of work by Hermit.  He's doing all the real work.  I just want to combine it all into a single PDF to make it easier for a wider audience to use.

Absolutely true about Hermit doing the legwork. However, just like building a new house, all people see in the end is the paint job! So, looking at the finished product of both your labors, I was impressed. That sound better?  LOL

  5. Wow! BoloOEarth took a great thing being done by Hermit, and made it awesome! Love the way Hermit's been doing these characters, and was blown away with BoloOEarth's pdf setup of them. The pics add a ton to the write ups. PDF almost feels like its short bios of real people with those pics. Hope you both keep this up for the entire 50. Thank you for all the work you both have done and shared, it will save many of us a ton of work.
