  1. Re: [shadows Angelus III] The City of Angelus

Sorry, that is a bad explanation. I put the map in post #11.

    Post 11

After your ears get back to normal from that LOUD POPPING noise

(my head coming out of my arse)

I should have known that, I just did not go back and look at the map again.

    The map looks great!

It makes it much simpler, and saves on thread space (not as if that's ever an issue).

  2. Re: Shadow Angelus

Yeah, I somehow dropped Iota Sector.

The city book is now in its own thread so that I could own the front page of the thread and just edit in stuff as I wanted.

I just posted the new map.

    Angelus City Thread

I have been reading this new thread, and that is why I asked about Iota Sector.

BTW, did you know that the "link" for the new map isn't really a link after all? Your post does not have any attachments.

  3. Re: Shadow Angelus

    Cool.

Edsel, I'll send things your way tonight.

I am going to start a city of Angelus thread to put the city in one place to hopefully garner some comments and ideas that'll help it grow.

Just a silly question for Eosin; What about Iota Sector? It is mentioned a few times in your City thread, but there is no section listing it's offerings.

    Did I just overlook this?

  4. Re: [Campaign] The Last Dominion

you really could have used Nagus against these things. They sound very much like the hybrid vampires from blade II.

    Woulda - Coulda - Shoulda - DIDN'T...

When this episode was all over, needless to say, a few of us will have lasting reminders of it!

  5. Re: [Campaign] The Last Dominion

The creepy moment of the night was when Celeste realized that the pus oozing corpse of Garm Halstead was not only some sort of flesh eat fiend but that his obsession with her character was so profound that he had been sleeping in her bed - mimicking the way she lay so as to bring him "closer" to her.

After that moment, Aria would not be left alone! :hush: She did not move but maybe afew hexes away for the balance of the encounters.

  6. Re: [Campaign] The Last Dominion

    My... that sounds pleasant. :fear:

Pleasant was not the word to describe the scenes that we were confronted with!

Eosin welcomed our new players with as much hoopla and fanfare that Sherlock Holmes would have been proud to witness.:o

The gruesome and ghastly lay of the encounters kept us all on our toes.:doi:

The log should make for some chilling reading!:smoke:

  7. Re: Ideas for combat runes

These are permanent runes (in my case) so time and cover is the limit. Armor can only have so many etchings (maybe the magic interferes with each other). If they are tattoos then you only have so many spaces for ink' date=' ect...[/quote']

Back in 1999 there was a game put out by Planetscape called TORMENT where the primary figure was clad in various tattoos. Only a few of these worked at a time with the others, and of course (being an rpg game) they were all pretty much interchangeable.

Which brings the limiting factor to the forefront; are they tattoos, or are they runes on a sword? Same effects, just different paths.

  8. Re: [Campaign] The Last Dominion

Thanks to Edsel for sending me a copy of my new avatar! :celebrate

Its not rally new, it's just that I have not been able to find my original

copy when Eosin had it drawn up for me a very long time ago.

I have been meaning to switch avatars when we switch campaigns,

and now I am able to do that!

  9. Re: [Campaign] The Last Dominion

Information Overload is the correct term!

Even with all of the side discussions going on, the session went very well.

When you have 7 players and 1 GM, that is going to happen. nuf said. ;)

Talk about a smorgasbord of plot lines to follow!

There was something for each of us (though some more than others),

which I think will be spread amongst us next session.

I know that Jayme has several things that are on his DON'T FORGET list now,

including correspondance with the other half now.:o

  10. Re: [Campaign] The Last Dominion

The anticipation I have felt for Saturday's game has even grown more.

    Edsel (aka Torean)

I don't know if those are the words that I would use after what Eosin did to us last night!

I think that Eosin had the best time, he sure had things worked out, no matter which way we went:eg:

It was great getting back in the saddle again!

I thought that fit, seeing as how Jayme got hitched an all.:D

  11. Re: [Campaign] The Last Dominion

After reading the balance of the adventure to date, I am confidant that the entire group (including our newest members) will be hip deep in the foulest stench of a plot hook that Eosin can muster. :D

It's kind of nice - in a queer sort of way.

I found several things that Kaid needs to attend to,

    the sooner the better.

  12. Re: Hudson City Map now in the online store

I just had mine blown-up and put on 36"x30" vinyl. You are right... Very nice. :D

    I second that motion!:D Edsel's map is FANTASTIC!:celebrate

The quality of the pdf file is superb to print out as well as it does!

I would be VERY CAUTIOUS about using any dry erase markers on a newly printed vinyl map. You don't want the dry erase ink to blend with any of the colors from the map. Do yourself a favor,:o and use a simple piece of plexi / lexan / glass, whatever clear cover is available for you to use. You will thank yourself for years to come, with such a clear, crisp, clean map of Hudson City!

  13. Re: Weekend Warriors -- Campaign Log

Cruel! Cruel! I was so excited when I saw this thread active once more!!!! I thought there was going to be a session log!!

I did not mean to be CRUEL to anyone, I simply wanted to reassure people that Edsel was going to keep this thread alive, just not yet.

Perhaps when the WW do finally reunite, Eosin will also have his work schedule ironed out.:straight:

    I can dream, Can't I?:smoke:
