So I was away from the boards for some time and found out that there is no more Legion of Heroes and therefore none of files with adventures to run at cons like there used to be.  So this means that I have to scour the internet or find someone who can help me out.  I have some new Champions/Hero players who might like this system that I so love but I would like to have something to work with.  Are there any beginning adventures available for new players to get their feet wet in or is it up to me?

    Story: Val Gunder is an humanoid alien of the interstellar empire. He is in a long line of law enforcement officials from a once savage race of warriors. When it came time for their society to develop a rennaisance they still kept their warrior but as defenders and protectors. When it was discovered that interstellar criminals were using earth as a hideout from the forces of the empire. He was sent to this planet on the outskirts and has made it his home, assuming the identity of private investigator. He then hunts down alien criminals be himself as a lone lawman of the universe.

  3. Another explanation is that most people don't think that Superman has a secret ID.  He has made it clear that he is Kal-el from Krypton and that he has a fortress of solitude in the North Pole.  So many think that since he doesn't wear a mask that he is who he says he is, which he is sort of, and that their is no SI to reveal.  He is basically hiding in plain sight.

    Story: Teresa Miller was an all american beauty queen that wanted to hit the big time. She got into modeliing while still in high school and after graduating went full time. But being a model is competitive and she found herself struggling to get ahead.

     

    She then discovered that many of the models that were succeeding where using various experimental cosmetics to become even more attractive. So she started to use some questionable performance drugs only to find that they made her attractive but also ripped! Then when this transformation startled her so much that she grew an extra three feet in height.

     

    Terrified and upset about this she immediatedly went to find the supplier only to discover he was about to get gunned down by criminal drug dealers. She quickly put on a makeshift mask and confronted the dealers in full growth. She easily overwhelmed when she found out that she was also bulletproof. When she interrogated her supplier he told him that he got it from some men in green. He also said that they would target her now that she got involved. Having no other choice Teresa took on the idenity of Titania, hoping get back to being a normal person and get her life back.

I thing the greatest obstacle to superhero role play is the D&D mentality.  Players get annoyed that they just can't kill the villains so that they don't come back.  They don't understand that this is the modern world and that simply isn't done.  I also agree that making too complicated characters can slow things down.  KISS is the way to go.
