Cindy Crawford, Lea Thompson,  and  Andie MacDowell don't age.

Neither does Carmen Villalobas.  She's playing a woman who looks 25 with a 20 year old daugher.

The same could be said for Barbara Eden and Sofia Loren.

  2. VIPER goes back to using more conventional technology.  The blasters are eventually replaced with good old slug throwers.   They might have lasers but they are becoming more fragile and unreliable.  Still they at least in the agent level are still a threat.  The more superhuman members start to suffer problems with there powers not working.  Since this is VIPER anyone that can't do the job anymore are expendable.  They start to reorganize just become another terrorist group with a snake fetish.  This is moreso when Nama goes back to sleep as the magic fades.

Any ideas on what to do with Tailsman? I would like for her to still be out there, doing evil. But I feal she should evolve beyond just being Witchcraft's evil twin. Prehaps she should join the Devil's Advocates?

She could start using Alchemy or just doing evil ritual magic, like human sacrifice and the like.  I see her using books and scrolls.  Maybe she would start packing a gun.

History Idea #2: The Fall of Doctor Destroyer.

Unlike other falls, this one happened quietly. In 2026, Doctor Destroyer's life support mechanism fails and he dies of natural causes of advance old age. For a while, Destroyer's insane AI ran the armor, making his master litterly his puppet. Bur in 2028, the magic which ran the technology behind the AI fails in mid-mission, revealing that he had been a well preserve corpse for two years.

There was a Star Hero adventure called the Helmet of Doctor Destroyer.  In the adventure there is a reference to Dr. D dying from a simple heart attack because of old age.  One weakness he had was that he couldn't extend his life span and eventually died of natural causes.

How about we go to the 60s ?

Batman. Season 3 definitely the show had jumped the shark but the episode that solidified this more than any other was when they had women take over and they are rendered useless by mice.

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. the first season was fine but that was in black and white. Then when it goes to colour it goes downhill. Irwin Allen's penny pinching ways are to blame for this.

Similarly his Lost in Space series which started out strong but faded when it became more Will Robinson and Dr Smith.

And Land of the Giants which also went downhill rapidly.

The writers of Lost in Space tried really hard to give more spotlight to the other characters but Irwin Allen wanted to be all about Will Robertson, Dr. Smith and the Robot.

I actually thought he was the best version of Luthor depicted on screen--and with competition that includes Gene Hackman and Michael Rosenbaum, that's saying something.  He appeared as though he'd stepped right out of a Curt Swan illustration, and the way he knifed Superman in the back with the Kryptonite shiv was thoroughly vicious.  This was how he should have been depicted all along.

But you're right--it's doubtful Kevin Spacey will be appearing in any role anytime soon.

The look of horror when Lois Lane saw all the toupees in the house boat was priceless.

  7. Bicycles would be back in favor.  Also horses and people would be walking again.  Also, concerning air travel, what about Zeppelins?  The advantages of old tech is less moving parts.  As Scotty once said,

"The more complicated the plumbing the easier it is to stuff up the pipes".

  8. So were supers around before all this happened or were they a result of the current event?  If they were here before then powered armored characters like Iron Man would be have serious problems.  The PA guy might try to go the steampunk method or just use buttons and switches.  Your obligatory Dark Knight type character would have to pull out the old stuff from early in his career.

Hobbies that were previously seen as useless are suddenly very useful. Sewing, wood work, smithing, making chain mail even in some areas?

Cannibalism may become the norm in some areas. Or it may be a supplement that is frowned upon but not forbidden when it is outsiders being preyed upon.

You'll still need to make some quick decisions about internal combustion. I would start simply with something like almost any car made after 1970 simply don't function. They can figure out the exact reasons later.

Currency needs to be explained or done away with. Local currency will probably quickly evolve and barter will have certain values in local currency to allow trade.

Cuba replaces Detroit as the number one car manufacturer.

I’d be very against adding magic, but that’s me. I would say that wired communications would work, but not with high bandwidth, so wired voice might work with static for a couple of miles, but anything more would have to be High voltage Telegraph. Think of it like a low, steady EMP.

Internet, gone, those that worked in tech would have to become farmers or starve. Speaking of which, expect mass starvation, especially within large cities, if shipping and trucking is disrupted.  Lots of old skills do survive, and those in the craft trades become valuable.

Reminds me of World War Z where people had to retrained for more practical job because being a systems analyst or have a degree in marketing wouldn't be any help in the new world.

  11. So I had some speed issues with my computer so I reset it to clean it up.  It did work on the performance issues I was having but now when I try to use HD I get an internet explorer logo next to it cannot figure out how to open it again.  I have installed Java but that doesn't seem to work either.

Will hopefully be getting into 6e Champions game soon and want to be able to make characters.  I can make them from scratch but program just makes it easier.

I'll line up, I liked Enterprise. Shoot. :)

    My personal ranking -

    1) Deep Space Nine

    2) Next Gen

    3) Enterprise or TOS depending on my mood

    4) The other one of above

    5) Voyager.

But the worst star trek series is still better than 90% of what is on TV anyway. :)

    Unless that shows Babylon 5
