  1. Re: A Thread for Random Musings

You know...if this is what i have to look forward to every time we want to have another gamer baby, this may be the only one we have. The back pains, contractions, upset stomach, and exhaustedness is making me nuts.

About the only thing that'll make it all go away is going into active labor (where contractions are 5 minutes or less apart or last a really long time)...and pop this gamer out. :P

Like I've said my whole pregnancy...he's stubborn just like his dad. :D

Work is just lovely. They decided to hire back some jerk who bascially told them off when he was given the option to take two weeks off and come back with a better attitude, or be fired. This guy thinks he owns the world. It's quite the situation really.

Co-worker and I will be moved into the conference room in the next few weeks so that they can rearrange the programming department, which means they'll be moving 2, maybe 3 people to where co-worker and I currently reside. They say our move to the conference room is only temporary (as we will be building an additional building because we are currently outgrowing the one we are in) as co-worker, myself, our boss, and owner of company will be the only ones moving into the new building. However, temporoary could be a year a more still.

Lovely place I work, I tell ya. :D

Big babies are healthy babies' date=' but a traditional delivery at that size may pose certain challenges. Have you discussed C-section (when, if, and why) with your doc yet? Whadidesay? Best of luck, and congrats on your great big baby.[/quote']

I actually have not. But, we do have another appointment on the 29th and I'll ask him then. My guess would be the only way he'd do a c-section is if something were preventing me from delivering naturally (so to speak).

    And thanks. :D

  4. Re: Musings on Random Musings

Sorry, I didn't realize I was supposed to be making you look forward to this... :o

    :D

If it helps, my mom had no problems with either me or my brother. Or heck, any of her 5 times giving birth. 6.5# was her lightest, and he was a month or a month and a half premature. :)

Lol. I'm trying hard to look forward to it, even if he does end up being a huge baby. :D

And it's like someone told me yesterday, "you grow big babies". :P

  5. Re: A Thread for Random Musings

We had our 32 week doctor's appointment yesterday. The doctor did an ultra-sound to estimate the babies current weight. He said anything between 3 and 4 lbs is what he'd want to see. Anything below 3 or over 4 would be too low or high respectively.

Keegan weighs approximately 4lbs 15oz as of yesterday. O_O If things I keep reading are right, I'm gonna have to deliver a 9+ lb baby.

Baby clothes? No problem. Click the link now. :D

You want bunneh maternity stuff too?

    hehe.

    Thanks.

I'm actually looking a ton of maternity shirts pertaining to a due date of october and it being a baby boy. As far as the bunneh shirt goes, I'll order it in a non-maternity shirt so I can wear it even after Keegan is born. :D

Thanks again. :D Rep when I can.

ETA: And now everything in my cart (save for one item) is bunneh stuff.

  7. Re: The "Nice Happy" Thread

I'm not kidding about that BBQ thing when it's all done. People from other states may bow out, but attendence is required for those in Colorado. :)

    Congrats!

We'll be there provided Doc can get off work, as he works weekends. :D

    Anad thanks!!

  8. Re: The "Nice Happy" Thread

    Thanks. ^ v ^

    Yay! Congrats!

Little boys aren't ALL bad. They typically cling to Mom a lot longer than little girls do, and, though more energetic, one at a time they're easier to handle than in small hordes.

So just don't have another within the next couple of years, you'll be fine. ^ v ^

    Thanks!

And we don't plan on having another one till this one is at least 3. My SIL is pregnant with her second and due in December. My nephew will be 2 in October...so I'm sure she and my brother will have their hands full. :D

  9. Re: The cranky thread

It's going to be one of those days.

Between the pregnancy hormones, my out of control alleriges, and the grogginess from the Zyrtec...every little thing is getting on my last nerve. Even stupid little stuff.

I need to go home and go back to bed.

  10. Re: Musings on Random Musings

Was it cooked? I can eat cooked broccoli, but it can't be overcooked, and it has to be smothered in cheese. So, not really worth the health benefits.

    Raw broccoli, however . . . Mmmm.

I can't eat cooked broccoli...only raw...and with lots of ranch dressing (so like your cooked, it defeats the health benefits).

Of course, I've always had texture issues with foods which is why it makes me gag when I eat peas, green beans, cooked broccoli, strawberries...among other things. People at work make fun of me because they haven't ever heard of people having texture issues with food.

"Thank you for ordering that printer ink we asked for. I don't want to sound ungrateful' date=' but next time, could you please get the cartridges that are compatible with the printer?"[/quote']

Totally know how that goes. I order my own any more...easier and I get them the next day since I order them online.

  12. Re: The cranky thread

    My condolences, Lemming.

In other crankyness...my ears are all stuffy...again. I think it stems from not having a ceiling fan in our bedroom and not having the air on to circulate the air at night. This is the second time in two weeks this has happend. My ears don't ache, they're just stuffy and every nosie just...makes me cringe...even the tiniest little noise. :(

We bought a tower fan last night and had it on all night...however, my ears are still stuffy this morning (hold over from Tuesday night I think). Hopefully, my ears will get back to normal soon, and I'll be talking to my doctor about it if what I think is the cause of stuffiness isn't actually the cause.

  13. Re: A Thread for Random Musings

Babies are sooooooooo amazing. Went last night to see my friends newborn. Baby is beautiful and precious. Mommy and daddy were doing well, though still a bit tired. And mommy was just over the moon talking about her daughter.

Makes me uber anxious now for the Doc and I to find out what we're having and then for the baby to actually be born.
