  1. Re: The cranky thread

    Bleh. I feel really nasty.

And I have a feeling it's because I caught the bug my mom and nephew had. I'd blame it on my pregnancy, but I'm pretty sure that's not it. My main reason being that I ate half my breakfast and was running to the bathroom, unable to keep it down. :( So sad.

Good news is I should be done with this by the weekend...so come next Monday we'll see if it is indeed the bug or pregnancy sickness making me miserable now. :P

  2. Re: Musings on Random Musings

Seems to happen at more or less at random. The only time it's really annoying is when it happens right after I've clicked on something. If I've just let it play for 20 minutes and it asks if I'm still there' date=' no problem. If I've just rated a song and it asks, it's really bothersome.[/quote']

I think it has something to do with your new color...perhaps when you're not blue anymore. ;)

They are sending one of the rudeist employees we have down to Florida Sunday night. He will be adding springs to a part that did not get the springs before we shipped them to the customer.

They are sending said employee because he is the bosses PITA son.

Our only hope is that the gators down there aren't picky when it comes to food.

*Please note, this is not my being jealous. I could care less about being the one chosen. It's just me being cranky because they're sending someone so rude and arrogent.*

Y'know, a kid died from doing something like that. She was playing the "chubby bunny" game, where you stuff your mouth full of marshmallows and try to say, "Chubby bunny" around them. She inhaled one accidentally.

    It's been verified by Snopes.

Meanwhile, in news, cat saves family from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Yeah. They talked about that the first year they did the "stunt". Which I think is why the producer only got like 10 down in the hour allotted.

I've also heard of kids "playing" that game with plain old marshmellows. Personally, peeps and marshmellows should carry a warning to be consumed under adult supervision only. Then again, that's an oxymoron as the DJ's on the station are grown adults. *sighs* Never mind. Maybe they should be marked "Consume only under the supervision of RESPONSIBLE adults."

I hate Peeps. Can't stand them. *shudders*

However, it is fun to put the in the microwave, watch them expand to like 5 times their normal size, and then throw them away when done. :D

Gotta love the local morning radio show. :D Every year, for the last 3 years, the DJ's have made the producer of the show eat as many Peeps as they can in an hour. :D Last year, the record was 113. This year, with ten minutes to go, the producer still has 41 to eat to even tie the record.

Poor thing. It's quite funny to listen to eat, especially when the producer talks...his mouth all full of Peeps. :D

I was asked what I wanted Doc to cook for dinner tonight. After much thought, I text messaged him and told him Enchilada's.

There is but one slight problem. It sounded good this morning. As of right now, it doesn't sound so good.

I fear I'm going to go home, he'll be dishing it up for us, and I'll dissolve into tears cause he's gonna be mad at me for not wanting to eat it. :P

    Pregnancy is tough.

My dog says: "Wurf? Woof." [sigh]

Translation: "I thought we were done with this snow ****?! I've only spent the last two weeks shedding my winter coat. Humph! Back to sleep."

I second your dog's attitude. I woke up this morning...the house was colder than snot cause I'd turned the heat virtually off before bed last night...glance at the living room window, and even though the blinds are pulled, it's all white outside. WTH?? When I peeked out on the patio, I was greeted with darn near 6 inches of the white stuff. *sighs*

On the other hand, I did not have to brush/scrape the snow off my car this morning. I love having a garage now. :D

To prepare them for the reality of their future in the corporate world, students should be allowed to outsource their assignments to India.

    No kidding!

It says something about us when three members of my gaming group have posted enthusiastically to the "Rocket-propelled chainsaw" thread.

    Yes...that is very...interesting...and a bit scary. :P

Until we moved, we had been with an outfit called McLeod USA. I never had a problem with them, and I was sad that I had to leave them. I think they're one of the smaller companies, so they have to work harder to keep their customer base.

If they ever offer service to our new neighborhood, I'm switching back to them in a heartbeat.

We use McLeod at work. We also just got done with XO Communications at work...dunno why we switched, but we did. :P

Anywho. So far our DSL is great. But, this is the first day we've used it. So, we'll see.

Overall, our renting with Budget was well worth it. And when we went to pick the truck up, the guy said he gets a lot of people coming to him for truck rentals because the U-Haul up the street sucks lemons. :P

We will most likely be renting with Budget from now on. :D

Got a pissed-off email from a student who wondered if I lock the doors at the beginning of class.

No, sweetheart, the room you went to is the lab room. Labs happen in the afternoon. Lectures happen in the morning. In a different room, in a different building.

    Love & Kisses,

    Dr. Satan

    LMAO!! Nice.

  12. Re: The "Nice Happy" Thread

I have some chocolate-covered almonds from Canada. They're pretty good. I just wish the brand was something other than Bear Droppings.

We found one...Moose Droppings...and sent it to my sister and her fiance for Christmas (I believe it was chocolate-covered peanuts). :D

  13. Re: The "Nice Happy" Thread

Man, the baby's not even born yet and she's alreayd switching to "Mom Mode".

    ROFLMAO!!

No no no. I just dont' want the...ummm...after effects of the blast to go any further than like...I-25 and 136th. ;) Keep the mess up north where the bunny lives. :D

  14. Re: A Thread for Random Musings

Had another doctor's appointment this morning. Which included another ultrasound. Baby is doing well and much bigger than last months ultrasound. We saw arms, hands, fingers, legs, and a profile of the face. Looked like the baby had hiccups or was ticked off cause we woke it up doing the ultra sound. :D

I go back in 5 weeks for another check-up and ultrasound. Should know the sex of the baby during my June appointment. Getting sooooooooooo excited. :D
