  1. Re: A Thread for Random Musings

Moving this weekend (Friday & Saturday). However, there is a nice chance of rain. Should be...interesting to move then. But, we do have a garage that we can back the truck up to and unload through there, rather than track mud and stuff on the carpet.

I am getting so excited. Especially now that I talked to DocO about making the loft the computer room, and the study the nursery. :D

On a semi-related note, we're 90% sure we've decided on a boys name and a girls name (I say 90% sure because my boss told me we'd change our minds a million times before the baby comes, so we'll see). :D

  2. Re: The "Nice Happy" Thread

Took my parents over to see DocO's and my new house.

They were totally in love with it. And they've given some pretty good ideas as to decorating and arranging furniture to make it look like we have loads of room. :D Will most likely put some of those ideas into effect.

Can't wait to move now. Wish we were moving this weekend. Though, glad we're not. I'm not nearly done packing yet. :D

Whew! I was just about to offer my services. ;)

Oh, we could always use more help...I mean...isn't the saying "the more the merrier?" ;)

    Kidding. :D

Two days ago it was 79 degrees here at this time. Now it's 31 and too icy to drive even a few lights. :ugly:

Ick. We were 60 or 70 one day, and had nearly 3 feet of snow 2 days later. So I feel your pain.

Just saw on the news that they've discovered an underwater cave in Mexico that's 95+ miles long, with chambers large enough to hold a jumbo jet! You know what this means, don't you?

    Mer-Drow! :bounce:

    Suh-weet!

Ummm...a place to stuff Bill after he's had even one burrito? ;)

    How far from I-25?

It's about 4 miles west of I-25 off of Federal and 97th Avenue. :P

And I was kidding about helping or needing help. :P We've got tons of help for getting us moved in next weekend. :P But, it would still be cool to see you guys and have a sort of housewarming party or get-together. :D

The only thing that set my wife off (in terms of nausea) during her pregnancies was auto exhaust fumes. Once when we were going off to gaming on a cold' date=' drizzly night, I went out and warmed up the car (it was February). A few minutes later she came out, walked through the exhaust plume, put her hand on the car door, thought better of it, took three steps back out into the middle of street, and barfed there. When she got in the car, I took the only cheap shot I made during all her pregnancy, "Dear, you have to stop doing that. The neighbors will talk."[/quote']

Hehe. Awww...poor thing. Did she hit you very hard? ;)

And I've not had an ounce of sickness. Lots of nausea from many different sources, but, I have yet to actually get sick. I'm one of the lucky ones from the sounds of it. :D

    We're finally all moved in!

Well, there are still boxes to unpack.

And furniture to move around to its proper position.

And we need to find places to put things.

And we still need curtains/blinds on the windows.

And about a million other things.

But we're all moved in now!

    Bill.

(Party at the bunny's place! ...but you all have to help us unpack). ;)

Bill-If we help you, will you help us? We move into our townhouse next weekend. ^_^

Q: What is it going to take to get you people to realise that the world is not coming to an end?
