He would've kept this secret to himself, if the Great Patriotic War hadn't occurred. Like many of his fellow Soviets, he too was swept up in the war. He revealed his secret power to Stalin, and was given the code-name: Traktor. As Trakto he participated in many battles during the war. His finest day came when he help break the German blockade around Stalingrad. Alas this was also his last, and he died of his wounds, a true hero of the Soviet Union.

Re: Around the World With A New Character Each Week VOLGA (Russia) VOLGA Anya Volganova http://WWW.UBER-WORLD.COM/VOLGA.HTM Background Anya met Grigori at the Molotov Garage nightclub in Volgograd. She was like an aspiring actress/model, and Grigori said he was like a director and was sure that she would be perfect in his new movie, called “Deva Zhertvoprynoshenye”. Both laughed when Anya said that she wasn’t a “Deva” anymore, and then they drank more vodka, and then maybe, just maybe a little more. Anya, like, didn’t remember much else before waking in her apartment the next morning with a baba of a hangover. The next night, Anya was like picked up by Grigori, and he whisked her away to a cathedral that was in ruins over looking the Volga River. The place was like real spooky and all. Anya didn’t much like Grigori’s crew either. They were all like dressed like monks, all in black with their hoods up so Anya couldn’t see their faces. Grigori was nice enough to give Anya a glass of vodka to relax before telling her about the scene she was like going to play. “It’s real easy,” said Grigori, “I’ll be playing Rasputin, and you’ll be playing the beautiful Alexandria.” Grigori showed Anya to her dressing room, which was really a monks’ cell with a mirror, and her costume, which wasn’t much. Afterwards, Grigori showed her to an altar. “You’ll lay here,” said Grigori, as he laid her back on the cold stone altar, “and I’ll fasten these silver chains around your wrist and ankles. No worries as they’re fake.” Both chuckled at this, even though Grigori’s laugh sounded a little maniacal. Then Grigori shouted action. One robed crewman held a camera, while another operated a boom mike to like better to get the sound right. Anya then started to feel a little panic when she saw Grigori coming out of the shadows. In one hand he carried a chalice of the purest silver, and in the other a knife that took Anya’s breathe away. This is also when Anya started hearing the chanting. Grigori’s crewmen were chanting in some language, and like Anya didn’t know what it was. As Grigori grew closer, he raised the knife, and then Anya’s panic became full blown. She wailed out, and struggled against the chains. Grigori had like lied to her. The chain weren’t fake. An evil leer came across Grigori’s face as he came up to her. Grigori was just about to strike, when woman’s voice behind him stopped him. “Grigori Rasputin,” yelled the woman, “you stop this at once.” Turning, Grigori lowered the blade to his side. “Baba Natasha,” said Grigori with a smile that would have most woman falling at his feet. The smile had no effect on Baba Natasha. Anya barely could see the woman past Grigori, but she was like a real looker. Possibly even more beautiful than Anya if you went into that bondage thing. Baba Natasha marched up to be like face to face with Grigori. “Rasputin,” growled Baba Natasha, “Mother and I allow you and your comrades free run all across Russia, but here in Volgograd, I do not. So pack up your bag of tricks, and leave.” “But Natasha,” said Grigori trying to placate Baba Natasha, “this is an important spell. With this blade and this chalice I can contact Tsarina Alexandria. Who knows what things the tsarina hide before her death.” “Bah,” said Baba Natasha, “what do I care for such things. It’s more important that Oktober overthrow this corrupt government, not dwell on the past like you’ve been doing.” With a flick of anger Baba Natasha batted the chalice from Grigori’s hand. “No,” shouted Grigori as the chalice flew splashing Anya in the face with like the coldest water she’d ever felt. Water fell into her eyes, and down her throat. It was all over in moments as the chalice clattered to the ground. “You’ll pay for that Natasha,” growled a very angry Grigori. “Aspirants Attack!” shouted Grigori. His crewmen like revealed that they were aspirants of Pentagram, which Grigori Rasputin was one of their leaders. However, they didn’t get far. Not only was Baba Natasha powerful, but she had brought along friends of her own, namely Oktober. It wasn’t even a fair fight. As the dust cleared, only Grigori still stood, and he was surrounded by Baba Natasha, Chromedome, Borzoi, and Iron Guard. “As I said,” spat Grigori, “you’ll pay for your interference Baba Natasha.” With a wave of his hand a portal opened in the air and Grigori leapt through it. Baba Natasha and her comrades came over to stand over the wet and struggling Anya. In a computerized voice, Iron Guard asked, “So what should we do with her?” Baba Natasha smirked down at the bound Anya. “Leave her.” Baba Natasha and Oktober turned and left. Anya screamed until she was horse. No one like came to her aide. It was with the like of the dawn creeping into the room that a transformation overtook Anya. Her blonde hair turned blue and her eyes became pools of white. Anya felt power coursing through her veins. She sat up and the chains snapped like gossamer. Water pooled around her, and Anya knew that she was like controlling it. Great she thought just what she needed, super powers. As if things couldn’t get much worse. She certainly wasn’t interested in fighting crime, even though she wouldn’t mind getting a little payback against Grigori and Baba Natasha. It was like their fault anyway. As Anya walked away from the ruined cathedral, she like almost instinctively walked down to the Volga river. It felt so natural when she dove into the water. Like a speed boat she swam back to Volgograd. From time to time, she did in fact like fight crime, as the super-hero Volga, but still she didn’t like want to be a super-hero. Personality Anya, unlike most people who’re granted super powers, doesn’t want them. While she hasn’t actually done anything about getting rid of them, she would rather focus on her modeling/acting career. Besides being a super-hero doesn’t pay as much. Anya is quite aware how her powers could like actually kill someone. Her preferred tactic is to use her water powers to blind a foe, and leave her more powerful bursts of water for like zombies, robots, and such. Even through all the adversary that Anya has been through it hasn’t gotten her down. Anya always has a quick smile. Some people think that she’s a dumb blonde, but in fact she’s like a dumb blonde with super powers. Quote "Hey it's not like I look this good everyday." Powers Anya was been granted mystical powers over water by an interrupted ceremony by Baba Natasha. She doesn’t know anything about magic, and like wouldn’t know how to get rid of her powers. Anya can project bursts of water from her hands, which vary intensity. Her more powerful burst can blow a foe through a brick wall, while her more weaker one can temporarily blind a foe. Further Anya can command water to move and strike like an extension of her body. Anya can even use her command over water to extinguish fires. Anya can also turn parts, or even her whole body into water. Objects and most forms of energy harmlessly pass through her body without harming her. Also when in such a watery state, Anya can slip past barred gates, and other obstructions with ease. Of course, Anya can swim faster than a torpedo. Appearance When not in her Volga form, Anya is an extremely attractive Russian woman in her twenties with long blonde hair and like the bluest blue eyes. As Volga looks similar except that she appears to be made completely out of water. Anya can switch between both forms with a mere thought. In human form, Anya typically wears a one piece red swimsuit with a white star on the chest. On her feet she wears red swim slippers.

Actually I have a Russian/English Dictionary, as well as a German, French, and Arabic Dictionary. However, I just plugged in the words into the Babel Fish, got the cyrillic letters, and translated them in English letters using my dictionary.

When finally brought to justice in San Franscisco, he spat upon the judge. He was hanged that very day. In the dead of the night, Dead Eye was brought back to life by the Coolie sorcerer Yan Wang. "You not get off that easily cowboy," said the ancient sorcerer. "When you complete one thousand and one good deeds than may you move onto your next incarnation. So go." A dead and not Dead Eye left that day. He has spent decades trying to perform good deeds, but being the man that is does them with a gun.

Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine In Paint try control +E (or click on Image) that'll bring up Attributes. There you can adjust the width and the height. I usually set mine to 300x450. All I know about Avatars is that they're 80x80. Hope this helps.

In the lead jeep sat Colonel Roberto Ortez, the sunlight glinting of his sunglasses. The Colonel had been told that the people of San Benjamin hadn’t been heard from over a week, and Colonel Roberto Ortez had been sent to investigate. There were also reports of strange lights in the night skies over the region which the National Air Service couldn’t explain. For Colonel Ortez the whole mission felt like a wild goose chase. San Benjamin wasn’t that far from the border with Columbia; maybe guerillas from Columbia had attacked; nothing really unusual when one dealt with the drug trade. In less than a half an hour the three jeeps roared into the center of the village circling the village well. Nothing. No one came out to see the three jeeps full of soldiers, no little old mothers staring up from their daily chores, no children running in the streets. Nothing. Colonel Ortez’s jeep came to a halt throwing up a cloud of dust. With military bearing, Roberto climbing out of his jeep and turned around the center of San Benjamin trying to figure things out. The whole village was silent; in a way the whole situation was eerie. The colonel took of his glasses as he motioned his men out. “Search everywhere,” he commanded. With an efficiency of soldiers the men spread out. While his men searched, Colonel Ortez went to examine the well. He drew up a bucket of water from the well used a little of it to clean the road dust from his face. Feeling a little refreshed, Roberto joined the search. Doors in San Benjamin mostly consisted of hanging sheets, so it was easy for Roberto to enter a nearby house. The smell of rotting food greeted the colonel, but no people. The evening meal still sat at the table, but none of it had been eaten. From the looks of things the food had sat there for at least a week. It didn’t take Roberto long to search the house, and he joined his soldiers back at the well. Corporal Maderas was the first to rush up to the colonel. With a quick salute to his commanding officer, the young corporal explained that the entire village had been searched and no one had been found and even the livestock and the dogs were missing. Colonel Ortez scratched his beard in thought. This whole mission was getting stranger by the moment. Turning to his private, Colonel Ortez commanded, “Search the area around the village. A whole village cannot just disappear without a trace. I’ll set up my command post at the mayor’s home. Report back within the hour. Dismissed!” The men rushed to follow the colonel’s command. None of them thought they’d find anyone This was the third village this year where the entire population had gone missing. Thousands of miles over the country of Panama a huge alien spacecraft orbited. The people of Earth were totally oblivious to the alien spacecraft, as the aliens had intended. Even the powerful sensors of S.A.G.E. didn't even detect the alien spacecraft. Within the walls of the alien spacecraft, the aliens performed experiments on their captive humans. Most didn’t survive. However, one female proved to be the perfect test subject, or at least so the aliens originally thought. Things were going well. The female was injected with the sun crystals and her skin started to glow with the crystals as the grew. The aliens watched intently; this was their tenth subject, all the rest had failed to assimilate with the alien sun crystals. The female survived the first phase, and the aliens moved to the second, which was exposing the sun crystals to solar radiation, or sunlight. With a flick of a tentacle, a section of the spacecraft raised bathing the female with the light of the sun. Readings from the probes in the female started flooding in. However, something was wrong. The readings were climbing too high, and too fast. The female arched her back off of the examine table as a scream burst from her lips. The spacecraft bucked with the explosion that quickly followed. For a brief moment the alien spacecraft was quite visible from Earth. Soon the Sentinels were alerted to their presence. Knowing that they stood no chance against the Sentinels, the aliens quickly retreated. They didn’t notice that the female test subject was missing. That night in San Benjamin, a star fell to Earth. Colonel Ortez was watching the strange lights up in the night sky trying to figure out what was going on. When one of the lights was coming closer and closer he called to all his men, and they ran away as fast as they could. Colonel Ortez was expecting an explosion, but there wasn’t one. Curious he and his men returned to San Benjamin only to find a young girl at the well crying. All the soldiers were in awe. The girl glowed with an inner light that was almost painful to look upon. Being a brave man Colonel Ortez approached the girl. Ten years have passed since Colonel Ortez found Nina. Nina was the name the colonel gave her, as Nina didn’t remember anything of her past. Panamanian doctors explained to the Colonel that the girl was repressing her memories. Roberto was the only person that the young girl would trust and he was given Nina as a ward, and later Roberto adopted Nina. The Colonel helped Nina deal with her powers as best he could, and even encouraged her to take on a super-heroic identity. Nina took the code-name: Estrella or Star. As Estrella, Nina has strived to protect the Panama Canal and the Colon Free Trade Zone from dangers like Deep Six or Los Piratas. Personality The abduction by aliens when Nina was young had an extreme traumatic effect on her. She doesn’t remember anything of her past from the point where she met Colonel Ortez. The doctors assured the colonel that eventually she would regain her lost memories. However, it has been ten years and so far no memories of her previous life have surfaced. Estrella isn’t exactly sure where her need to protect normal people came from. She believes that it comes from her association with Colonel Ortez, as he’s quite the humanitarian. However, it might also stem from a feeling of being unable to protect herself and the other people from San Benjamin. Regardless, Estrella always throws herself into the thick of a battle in which normal people are threatened by super-villains. Quote "Time to throw a little light on the subject." Powers Estrella’s body is impregnated with millions upon millions of an extraterrestrial crystal known as sun crystals. The exact purpose of the aliens placing the sun crystals in Estrella’s body is unknown. However, the effects of the sun crystals has granted Estrella with powers similar to an uberhuman. Through the sun crystals, Estrella is able to project a variety of photonic energy from a blinding light field that is almost impossible for anyone to see through, to a variety of damaging light bolts. With a mere thought Estrella is able to transform her body into light itself, passing through most objects, and becoming invincible to certain attacks. Naturally Estrella is able to fly and project a force field around herself. Appearance Estrella is a dark skinned woman with long straight dark hair. Her costume consists of a white leotard with a golden centerpiece that has a white star emblazoned over it, along with a golden belt. On her arms, Estrella wears silver bracelets, and on her feet she wears fashionable white boots. Estrella also wears a white cape with a golden lining. To hide her identity, Estrella wears a small domino mask that is also golden. With her powers, Estrella can change back and forth between her costume and her regular closes. When not in her Estrella guise, Nina is an university student, where she’s studying to become a nurse. Her favorite clothing to where are tank tops and jeans with the knees cut out. On her feet Nina likes to wear comfortable shoes.
