  5. Re: Around the World With A New Character Each Week BELOVED LEADER (North Korea) http://www.uber-world.com/characterpage.php?cid=961 Beloved Leader (Kim Jung-Il) Background From the Top Secret Memories of Beloved Leader: “I was born in the shadow of Baekdu Mountain as was foretold by a sparrow, and was heralded by a double rainbow over Baekdu Mountain and a new star in the heavens above.” “Soon after, my father moved the family into the Soviet Union where he learned the true meaning of communism as the leader of a soviet brigade. After the Great Patriotic War the family moved back to North Korea. We lived in a huge mansion with a pool. My brother was fascinated with the pool. Maybe it was my push that helped him study it better, or not. Alas his fascination did him in. Later mother argued with me. She later died in childbirth, or so they said.” “I studied political science under my father, Kim Il Sung, and at his side my education grew. Father had me even study abroad, even going as far away from my beloved homeland as Malta, where I studied English. I am a good speaker of English.” “My raise through the ranks of the Korean Workers’ Party, would be considered meteoric. At first I was involved with protecting the party from revisionists after the Sino-Soviet split. Those writers and others who didn’t follow the dictates of father were dealt with. Later I was to be involved in straightening out the wrong thinking in the military. Several revisionist officers were expelled.” “It was my work with artists and writers that influenced me to get involved. I found the work fascinating, and during those years wrote thousands of books, operas, and plays. All to show the common man the truth about Marx-Leninism.” "All great things come to those who wait. Father has passed. The state funeral for the great man lasted for days. The people did their utmost to honor Father, and further honor me by proclaiming me their Beloved Leader. They're willing to give everything for me. I truly am their Beloved Leader." Personality Kim Jong Il thinks he’s the greatest political mind of the age, and oddly enough the people of North Korea agree with him. There is no plan that Beloved Leader doesn’t believe will be successful, but in the unlikely event something were to go wrong, Beloved Leader has four million scapegoats to pick from. Beloved Leader like his people is convinced of his own greatest. He knows that he’s the greatest writer in the world, and has written several bestsellers (in North Korea), and even some operas that have been critically acclaimed (again in North Korea). Kim Jong Il is obsessed with secrecy. He’ll have anyone who divulges state secrets executed, with a few exceptions. Beloved Leader, also is obsessed with his own security, and almost has a sixth sense when it comes to danger to himself. The real sign of his own insecurity is the fact that he rides around in a giant robot. Quote “Herro Heroes! It was inevitabre that you wourd farr into my crutches! My devoted scientists terr me that this death trap is inescapabre!” Powers Kim Jong Il has no actual powers per se. However, to the North Korea people, he’s almost a god, and they generally treat him as such. Hence the title Beloved Leader. Kim Jong Il wears special khaki’s that acts like body armor, glasses that lets him see through other peoples, usually women clothes, and has a hidden pistol for emergencies. The one thing that sets Kim Jong Il from other dictators is the Red Flag Vanguard Robot. While the design for the robot are about fifty years out of date, it still is impressive, and has been upgraded with the finest North Korean technology. With the Red Flag Vanguard Robot, the Beloved Leader is assured to make the capitalist, imperialist Americans and their nefarious allies quake in their boots. Appearance Kim Jong Il, or Beloved Leader as he’s affectionately known to the people of North Korea, is an odd looking man. He’s short, barely standing over five feet in height, and pudgy, obviously overweight. Beloved Leader is a bespeckled man with a high pompadour, who most would over look, however, Beloved Leader, is probably the most powerful communist leader in the world. His usual dress is in khaki, a windbreaker, trousers, and elevator shoes.

  8. Re: Around the World With A New Character Each Week Good Point! I had a lot of inspiration for team based on the movie "Soldier" starring Kurt Russell, except for a lot more "life", and the TV show "Dark Angel" starring Jessica Alba. The line between whether a person with powers uses them for good or evil is probably a very thin one. Heck I guess the same could be said just about anyone. A person could live a good life, or be a burden on society.
  9. Re: Around the World With A New Character Each Week For those keeping score, Serbian Six was split up between myself and Tribe. I wrote: Neko, Drvo, and Cetiri, while Tribe wrote Dvoje, Petica, and Setorica. Oh and I wrote the teampage, while Tribe came up with the logo. Hope everyone likes the Serbian Six.
  10. Re: Around the World With A New Character Each Week SESTORICA http://www.uber-world.com/sestorica.htm Background Larisa was taken from her mother within a few weeks of her birth so she has no memory of the woman, however, she has been plagued by vivid dreams ever since can remember. In these dreams she can see her mother, but her mother is horrible and twisted. Larisa is tortured in these dreams and torn apart by various insidious devices. She has long since stopped waking from these dreams screaming at the top of her lungs. She has accepted them as she has accepted everything else about her life. Larisa and her twin brother Mihajlo were raised in a State-run orphanage specifically tailored to train young uberhumans. The twins were both able to manipulate the world around them simply through thought. Larisa tended to act out her insidious dreams and had to be chastised repeatedly for hurting the other children. She ignored the punishments and thought of new ways to break the other seemingly happy children. When she was six she was introduced to her big brother, Stephen. She was initially unimpressed, but the longer she stayed in his charge the more she began to see a kindred spirit in him. His anger was delicious and her burgeoning telepathic abilities were drawn to him. She drifted from her brother to Stephen in a natural progression, and when the group of uberhuman 'orphans' were christened the Serbian Six she was at the forefront of their clandestine activities. The Serbian Six were sent out to bring vengeance upon those dissidents who sought to break from Serbia. She thrilled in the bloody massacres, the ethnic cleansing. She was still a teenager but her bloodlust put even the most hardened soldier to shame. Of all the Serbian Six, it was Larisa who threw herself into the slaughter with the most abandon. Milosevic thought she was devoted to him, but the slaughter and the torture were solely for her own pleasure. When she killed she thought of no one else. Stephen was a fragment of her past, Milosvic a pale ghost, her brother a distant hum. But then the party stopped and Larisa was forcibly reeled in. Milosevic was taken to the Hague for crimes against humanity and the Serbian Six were wanted criminals. Her world had seemingly turned upside down and it was then that she turned to Stephen. He cradled her at night time and for a while she regressed to childhood. But then Stephen had an idea. They would storm the prison in the Hague and free their 'father'. At the thought of future mayhem, Larisa brightened. The Serbian Six were inspired. The Hague stood no chance at all. Larisa discovered that even the best laid plans sometimes find themselves without a completely satisfying resolution. Their 'father' was dead, plagued by a heart attack, and their attack had been at least momentarily deflected by super heroes. But Stephen rallied the Six again and he boldly commanded them to take Serbia by force. Larisa felt alive at the thought of ruling a country. She has planned her realm out to the last torture chamber, and is just waiting for the Serbian Six to topple the government and establish their rule. Personality Larisa is unhinged. She has been a sociopath since childhood and there seems to be no salvation for her in any immediate future. She was raised to be a weapon and that is what she has become: completely lethal and without remorse or pity. She will just as likely rip the skin off a little child as she would to pierce the heart of a hardened soldier with a fence post. As long as she is causing damage she is happy. She looks to Stephen for guidance when things go haywire, and he has proven to be a direct and bold leader. Quote "So many ways to peel the heads off soldiers... and so little time!" Powers Sestorica is a powerful telekinetic whose powers are solely generated through her mind. She is able to manipulate the world around her and create force fields and levitate from the ground. As well as these psychokinetic abilities, Larisa is also a powerful telepath. She is able to create a mental link between her team mates which allows them to communicate through thought alone. She is also able to search crowds for minds as well as deliver stunning psionic charges and read minds. Appearance Larisa has very pale skin, blue eyes and a shock of white hair which tends to billow about her body as a result of her psychokinetic powers. She is chillingly beautiful but even her friends find her unsettling to be around.
  11. Re: Around the World With A New Character Each Week PETICA http://www.uber-world.com/petica.htm Background Srecko was raised in an orphanage along with five other uberhuman 'orphans', although the exact status of his parents has never been explained to him. There are reports that his mother died in childbirth as he duplicated himself. Srecko suffered some brain damage during the delivery and has always had difficulty learning, or even following directions. He became known as Petica, one of Slobodan Milosevic's Serbian Six: a role he relished because it allowed him to leave the orphanage. During the fighting across Serbia, Bosnia and the other Balkan States, Srecko participated in horrendous acts but never realised the implications because he was never taught right from wrong. When he came to torch a house in Kosovo, Srecko found himself strangely drawn to the family's pet dog. He destroyed the house, killed the two inhabitants but took the dog away. For days he looked after the dog, never leaving it alone for a minute. One night he tried to keep the dog quiet. It had been barking non-stop because Srecko had failed to feed it for two days. When the dog wouldn't stop, Srecko killed it by smothering it to his chest. Rather than an isolated incident, the case with the dog has been reproduced several times with other stray animals and even young children. The other members of the Serbian Six discourage him from taking children, but don't seem to care about his behaviour when it comes to animals. In fact, Sestorica finds it amusing that the 'big oaf' doesn't realise what he is doing. She encourages him to show his pets affection, knowing that his clumsy strength will ultimately kill them. Personality Srecko doesn't really understand what he is doing. He lives with his family and trusts them completely. He has been taught to love Serbia and to do her bidding, but now that the Serbian Six have become independent from the State he listens to Stephan even more intently, not wanting to insult his brother by doing the wrong thing. Quote "Nice puppy dog... come to Srecko... he protect you now. Be good master." Powers Petica is a duplicator, able to generate up to five identical bodies from his own. These duplicates seemingly rip their way out of Petica's body with sprays of blood and tearing of ligament and bone. It does no damage to Srecko because he has an uberhuman regenerative ability. Petica serves as the Serbian Six's disposable army. He can walk into any situation and be blasted to bits, but Srecko won't mind. He can manipulate his bones just as easily as his body, and usually protrudes his bones out of his body to use as weapons. This usually disgusts his opponents but Srecko doesn't see what is wrong with it. He can also flip his bones to the outside of his body to form a kind of carapace - a bony exoskeleton which provides him with great protection. Appearance The first impression people usually have when they see Srecko is that he looks like a body only half-finished. His body is taut and bones seem to be threatening to break the surface, while in other places his body seems too long or too short. He usually wears a dopey grin on his face. His eyes are shadowed by a heavy brow ridge and his head is bald and misshapen. While he generally wears whatever is comfortable, when acting with the Serbian Six he usually wears a simple brown cloth around his waist and brass coils around his ankles and wrists.
  12. Re: Around the World With A New Character Each Week CETIRI http://www.uber-world.com/characterpage.php?cid=951 Background Milena Milosivic, like the rest of the Serbian Six is an orphan. She hasn’t taken much time to look back, because Milena spends most of her time looking forward. As a child she was constantly hyper, but in a way that the scientists liked. Milena has an insatiable appetite for learning, and at the age of four she could read and write. It was only later that the scientists regretted the young girls hyper-intelligence, especially after she hacked into their computer systems, and then forwarded all the embezzling they were doing to her “father”. Needless to say those scientists disappeared the next day. Milena really did miss them. Her only other passion besides machines, was gymnastics. Milena tried her best to get her “siblings” interested in the sport, but most scoffed at her idea, or just ignored her like Dvoje. It was only her big brother Neko who showed the slightest interest, but he proved too inflexible for tumbling and quickly gave up. One of Milena’s biggest finds was schematics for a solid light projector, by some dead scientist from India. It’s amazing what one can find on the internet. At first Milena thought it’d be cool to build a light baton for use with her gymnastics, but it was Neko who convinced to build it like a weapon. When Yugoslavia went to war tearing itself into independent republics, the Serbian Six were called into the fighting as well. This was their real reason for existence. At first Milena was enthusiastic about the whole thing, but quickly grew horrified at the actions of the others. By the end of the war, Milena was using more of her time hiding people, or helping them escape the country. She would’ve left Serbian Six, but as bad as some of them were, they were still the only family she knew. Milena felt a lot of relief when “father” was sent to the Hague for war crimes. She certainly knew that he was a “bad” person. However, Milena was dumbfounded when Neko proposed that they all go to the Hague to rescue Slobodan. She was going to argue the point with Neko, but she knew how headstrong he could be, and gave up. Milena went along with the others, but held back. She knew someone had to rein in the carnage the rest of the Serbian Six could do. When Neko had Drvo act as a decoy for them to get into the prison, Milena knew she had to act. Feigning an equipment failure, she broadcast a call to the Dawnstars, not realizing how many super-heroes would actually show up. Milena was the last of the Serbian Six to make it to Slobodan’s cell, and was just as glad that he was dead. Outside the prison, more super-heroes than Milena had ever seen before were arguing. Neko gave the order, and Milena pulled out one of her Escape Clause gizmo’s, and in quick order the Serbian Six were on their way back to Serbia. Melina thought that things would come down, but in fact they didn’t. Neko had proposed that with “father” dead it was up to them to take over Serbia, and install themselves as the leaders of the Serbian people. Melina had a sinking feeling in her stomach. She guessed she’d have to remain with the Serbian Six to make sure they didn’t turn into another Slobodan Milosovic. Personality Since a young age, Milena has been interested in machines. Give her some device she hasn’t seen before, and Milena will spend hours on it trying to modify it or fix if it was broken. Milena has proven to be a natural with machines. This is one of the reasons Professor is after her. Milena has always had a sunny personality. She’s a favorite of almost all of the Serbian Six. Even Drvo doesn’t pick on her much. She has Neko, and Petica practically eating out of her hand. Dvoje and Sestorica tolerate Milena the best they can. Unlike most of the Serbian Six, Milena isn’t a killer. She’s never killed anyone in her life, and isn’t about to start. During the Yugoslav Wars, Milena did her best to assist people caught in the war. She did her best to keep this information from “father” and the others. Most of the time she pretended to kill someone, but use her spare parts to instead whisk them away without her siblings finding out. Quote "Gee that's just swell." Powers Milena always had to affinities, machines and gymnastics. If she wasn’t an uberhuman it would remain to be seen which path she would’ve taken. Milena has built herself a light baton based upon some plans she found on the internet. Using the baton, she can program the device to project a variety of solid light shapes, from balls, to blades. Milena has trained with the baton, and can easily use it as a weapon. Milena has trained in gymnastics since she was little, and even has developed her own form of martial arts based upon gymnastics. It’s a lot of flips, cartwheels, and powerful kicks. Milena even uses her light baton when performing her martial arts. In addition to her light baton, Milena always seems to have a few extra gadgets and gizmos on hand. The boots of her costume, allow her to fly after a fashion, and even let her leap tall buildings in a single bound. Naturally her costume is reinforced. Appearance Melina is an athletic young woman with long brown hair. She’s extremely flexible, and can bend her body into painful looking shapes. Unlike the rest of Serbian Six, Melina still wears a costume. It’s a red skintight leotard with silvery circuits built into it. In addition she has matching gloves and boots. Melina also packs a device she calls a “light baton”. The baton can project a beam of solid light, and base upon what Melina programs it, shapes into a variety of blades, balls, or just a straight line of light.
  13. Re: Around the World With A New Character Each Week DRVO http://www.uber-world.com/drvo.htm Background Josip was about six months old when his mother brought him to the state run clinic in Bor. She said her baby was turning a grey pigment and was running a high fever. The doctor took one look at the infant and called Belgrade. Soon a team of scientists were at the clinic, and swiftly returned to Belgrade. As for Josip’s mother she was told that the infant had died. Heartbroken she later committed suicide. The scientists quickly learned that Josip had the latent ubergene, and by orders of Slobodan Milosovic all the children with the gene were required to be taken into custody. In the end there were six children who showed signs of the gene. Josip was the third find by the scientists, and given the code-name: Drvo, or Three. Josip grew up around the scientists, and the other children in a special orphanage. At an early age, Josip quickly developed anti-social behaviors. He was abusive to the scientists (most didn’t like to work with Josip), especially after a tantrum that sent six of them to the hospital. Only Stephan seemed to be able to get through to the boy, and that wasn’t always a given. When Josip’s ubergene became active his skin which had already turned completely grey now developed the hardness of the hardest granite. Superhuman strength quickly followed. However, Josip most devastating power was the ability create sparks by running his hands over his chest, and with a little control, Josip could create flames. Josip developed one other power, and that was the ability to run at great speeds. All these powers in a young man like Josip spelled a lot of trouble for the scientists. Josip was isolated from everyone. The only person he was allowed to see was Stephan. Josip railed against Stephan and the scientists to no avail. Stephan was finally able to calm Josip by telling him of his namesake: Marshal Josip Tito. Of course, Stephan being isolated himself from society really didn’t know much about Tito, and made a lot of it up. Josip was fascinated by Stephans’ tales, and decided he would help make Yugoslavia a better place too, like Marshal Tito. During the Yugoslav Wars, Josip was called upon to one of the Serbian Six. Josip relished in all the destruction he was allowed to commit. Whole villages were consumed in flames. Josip was just getting started when the whole thing was over. “Father” was arrested by his own people and sent to the Hague for crimes against humanity. Josip along with the rest of Serbian Six were at loose ends. It was Stephan who suggested that the six travel to the Netherlands and free Slobodan Milosivic. At first Josip was against the idea, but Stephan brought him around. Josip was used as a distraction while Stephan and others infiltrated the prison. He destroyed several high rises in the area, and unfortunately garnered more attention than he thought he would. Three different super-hero groups showed up. Luckily for Josip, none of them really could keep up with him. Even before Stephan and the others were out of the prison, Josip was halfway to Serbia. Later when the remainder of Serbian Six, they were all really pissed off at Josip about him running away. Naturally Josip blamed them for him fleeing. Josip was all for heading off in his own direction when Stephan proposed taking over Serbia. He seemed to take to the idea. Josip could change Serbia like he had meant to do while under “Fathers” command, but this time he’d do it right. Personality Josip likes people think that he’s a mature person, but always seems to go about it in the wrong way. He thinks he’s mature, but his actions prove how immature he can be. Of course Josip doesn’t take lip from anybody, and will gladly bust up anyone disagreeing with him. Josip is also a bully. He likes picking on people, just to get a reaction out of them. He used to pick on the other members of Serbian Six, but quickly found out that they can certainly stand up against him, even the freak Petica. Nowadays, Josip confines his bullying to normals, and the occasional super-hero who crosses his path, like Pobjeda. Josip would really like to smash that guys face in for good. Another bad habit of Josip is his sarcasm. He just can’t seem to help himself. The more bitting a comment, the better. Stephan certainly doesn’t allow Josip to make speeches for Serbian Six. Not that this keeps Josip quiet or anything. Josip will speak his mind, and anyone who disagree better have their fire insurance payed up. Quote "I will give everything from myself to make sure that Serbia is great, not just geographically but great in spirit, and I'll burn down the entire countryside if I have to make my point." Powers Josip is an Uberhuman who can transform his skin into a stony-like substance. His skin share properties similar to flint in that he can strike it and have it give off sparks. Josip is so skilled at striking sparks that he’s even able to create a constant flame by using his superhuman speed. He’s surrounded by flames that don’t harm him, but anyone striking him are bound to be burned. Josip’s second ability is the ability to run really fast. He’s so fast that he can run almost any surface, except water. On water Josip skins. Fortunately, while his skin is stone-like, it doesn’t weight the same as stone, and Josip is able to swim. However, Josip can easily run up the side of a build, all the while setting it on fire. Appearance Josip is a large man whose skin is completely grey. His red hair matches his eyes. Mostly clothing cannot stand up to his abrasive skin, and as such Josip usually goes shirtless. Like the rest of Serbian Six, Josip doesn’t wear a costume. Instead he wears heavy loose fitting denim trousers, along with a gold sash. On his feet he wears expensive running shoes. When using his fiery powers, Josip is surrounded by a fiery aura.
  14. Re: Around the World With A New Character Each Week DVOJE http://www.uber-world.com/dvoje.htm Background Mihajlo and his twin sister, Larisa, were taken away from their parents soon after their birth. Serbian scientists identified them as potential uberhumans and the President had orders that all such children would be raised by the State. They were taken to a State-run orphanage where they grew up segregated from the other children. When they were six, the twins were introduced to Stephen, another uberhuman. The older boy took them under his wing and over time became their big brother: a protector and a guide to the institutions around them. Mihajlo and Larisa seemed to lack humanity. They rarely showed emotion and when tragedy struck, as it did so often in their presence, they merely watched. The greater the tragedy the less inclined they were to show any kind of interest. When children started breaking in the impoverished playground, Mihajlo simply turned his back and watched the clouds skate across the sky. Larisa developed an interest, though, and when the children's bones started to pop out of their skin, the smallest smile flickered on her face. When they were old enough, their 'father' President Milosevic ordered that his Serbian Six be activated to fight revolutionary tendencies across Bosnia and other rogue states. Mihajlo found this period to be dreadfully boring. He participated in the ethnic cleansing but had no interest in pursuing it after the war was drawn to a conclusion. Larisa seemed to be the opposite, embracing the wanton destruction even more so than their older brother, Stephen. Mihajlo followed his sister as a matter of course, not really thinking about options. When Slobodan Milosevic was taken to The Hague for War Crimes, Stephen and the rest of Serbian Six attempted a rescue. Mihajlo agreed, although he never really managed to feel anything for his 'father' except distant acceptance. When Milosevic was found dead in the prison, Serbian Six was left without a leader. The missing leader role was quickly filled by Stephen, Neko. The others accepted the move. It was, to most of them, the only option available. As the number two, Mihajlo or Dvoje, had no interest in any kind of leadership position. He also lacked the initiative to make a grab for power. When Stephen called for an attack on all rogue states Mihajlo agreed. If Serbia could not be run by Milosevic then surely it should fall to his special children? Personality Mihajlo is comfortable in his world where he is supremely powerful and nothing can touch him. He has very little compassion, even for his twin sister. When he looks out from behind his seemingly-fragile spectacles he sees a world of animated corpses. He can manipulate the world without having to touch it and does so also with obsessive verve. Rarely does he allow his skin to come into contact with anything. Quote "I suppose the best course of action is to follow the lead of Neko. So far he hasn't managed to get us killed and that must be counted as a positive sign." Powers Dvoje is a powerful telekinetic like his sister, although his powers are physical rather than mental. He is able to manipulate physical and liquid objects and produce devastating force blasts and protective force shields. On his own he is quite the adversary but as artillery support and occasional cover, Dvoje makes the Serbian Six a very dangerous and destructive adversary. Appearance Since the death of Milosevic, the Serbian Six have refused to wear uniforms. Instead, Mihajlo wears whatever is comfortable. He has no concern about being touched or sullied by anyone since his telekinesis prevents almost any form of contact. He has straight silver-white hair, bright blue eyes and wire-framed spectacles.
  15. Re: Around the World With A New Character Each Week Each of the Six were given code names that are numbers in Serbian. For example the leader of the group goes by the name of Neko, or One in Serbian. NEKO (http://www.uber-world.com/neko.htm) Background Was it all about power? Was it all about Ethnic Purity? History would be the judge of Slobodan Milosevic. The great tyrant would except no earthly judgement on his actions. In times of war, when the great nation of Yugoslavia was tearing itself a part like a madman, it was Slobodan who stood firm against the chaos. Slobodan who knew the signs. Slobodan who had to make the difficult decisions. Let history judge, Slobodan saw himself as a true patriot. Stephan was born in a state run orphanage. He never knew who his parents were. Stephan was given his name by a committee of state scientists. He was selected by the scientists because he obviously showed Ubergenetic tendencies. For the next several years Stephan was studied and educated. Stephan was introduced to his “family” when he was four. He never knew that there were others like him; he had been isolated by the scientists since birth. Stephan naturally assumed the “older brother” role over the other children. The scientists watched and noted their interactions. Over the years the children bonded into a family. Puberty is usually the point in a Uberhumans life when the Ubergene generally becomes active. Stephan was no exception to this. Further testing of Stephan showed that he was developing superhuman strength. However, no studies showed any other power forthcoming. To bolster his strength, Stephan was given some military training. The scientists grew a little upset with Stephan because he destroyed so many of the firearms he was given. Stephan was really starting to resent the scientists. In a fit of rage, Stephan attacked a steel plated wall that was his “bedroom” and demolished it. The scientists were impressed and a whole new bunch of tests were called for. Stephan was shown to have the ability to break down the bonds between molecules, in effect weakening whatever he hit. When Slobodan heard of this he was ecstatic. When Stephan was finished with his training he was given the code-name Neko, or One in Serbian. Stephan was to be the leader of the other orphans, who collective would be known as the Siberian Six. Things had grown worse in Yugoslavia. War had broken out, and the Serbian Six were called in to quash the upstart states of Bosnia, Slovenia, and others. The Serbian Six were right in the thick of it. They committed terrible acts of cruelty, right alongside others just like them. Stephan had his share of fighting as well. All really came to an end when Slobodan was ousted from power. Stephan and the others found themselves cut loose from the government that had nurtured and supported them for all their young lives. As for Slobodan he was taken to the Hague in the Netherlands. Lost without their “father” Stephan encouraged the others to travel to the Hague with him to free their “father”. It was child’s play for them to infiltrate the Hague; the prison hadn’t been built to resist Uberhumans. Stephan was the first to get to Slobodan. Stephan was shocked to see the former President of Yugoslavia. When the man demanded that Stephan free him, it outraged Stephan. In a rage Stephan punched Slobodan in the chest, killing him instantly. As he laid down his “father” the others made their way into the cell. They hadn’t seen what Stephan had done. “What happened?” asked Dvoje “Father,” had a heart attack said Stephan tearing up. The others believed him completely. Stephan was their big brother, was he not. Outside the prison, the Serbian Six ran right into a whole lot of trouble. Facing them was the Dawnstars, along with the Brotherhood, and Trinity from France. A battle royal ensued. However, things improved when Armstrong of the Brotherhood and Sting of Trinity got into a major argument. This was all the opening Stephan needed, and he and his family escaped back to Serbia. In new Serbia, Stephan offered their services to the new government, but he was rebuffed. This didn’t settle too well with Stephan and his siblings. Maybe they should be the ones in charge of Serbia? Maybe, just maybe. Personality Stephan has a lot of repressed anger. This anger is from his days under the authority of the Yugoslav scientists. The many experiments that they performed on him and his siblings angered him, but there was nothing he could do it about it then. Now things are different, but still Stephan has trouble expressing his anger. This repressed anger is what caused Stephan to kill his “Father.” Stephan doesn’t like to be told what to, especially when he has decided what he’s going to do. This at times has caused stress between him and his siblings, especially when they disagree with him, which isn’t often. Stephan has a hard time believing that his siblings wouldn’t follow him anything he has decided to do. Stephan is very protective of his siblings in Serbian Six. There isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for them, so far as they listen to what he says. Stephan’s first and last concern is for the others in his family. Quote "More uberhuman than uberhuman. That's what Father was always saying." Powers Stephan is an Uber with two major powers. His most devastating power is the ability to weaken the molecular bond in organic and non-organic material. For example, with a mere touch, Stephan reduced the tensile strength of steel to the strength of aluminum foil. This ability affects humans as well. Plus the effects are long lasting. His second major power is his superhuman strength. While Stephan isn’t the strongest uberhuman in the world, he can certainly hold his own. Stephan was known for throwing around trucks during the Yugoslavian Wars. He has also found a way to climb walls by poking holes in them creating handholds. Stephan has a minor power to regenerate from almost any wound. While under the authority of the scientists, Stephan was trained in how to handle firearms. Even today, Stephan likes to keep a firearm handy in case his other powers don’t prove strong enough. Appearance Stephan is a handsome young man with long blond hair. He’s of average built, and weight, which belies his superhuman strength. Stephan has eschewed wearing a formal costume since the fall of Yugoslavia. Instead he wears a suit of body armor, under a pair of well worn brown slacks and green fatigue shirt. Of course Stephan likes to pack around a sub-machine gun wherever he goes.
  16. Re: Around the World With A New Character Each Week Due to Kosova recently breaking away from Serbia, and also due to the NPC I wrote for Montenegro, Tribe and I came up with a super-villian team we named the Serbian Six. So without further ado. Serbian Six SERBIAN SIX http://www.uber-world.com/serbiansix.htm Background Not much was known as the Serbian Six until recently. The group of Serbian uberhumans made the news in a daring rescue mission to free Slobodan Milosivic who was standing war crimes trials at the Hague in the Netherlands. Unfortunately Slobodan died of a heart attack before the Serbian Six were able to rescue him. Outside the prison, Drvo was creating a distraction to let the others get into the prison. Drvo’s method of creating a distraction was to burn down a lot of buildings thus diverting any super-hero interference. The plan worked too well, because several super-hero teams did show up: Dawnstars, Trinity, and the Brotherhood. Luckily for the Serbian Six, Armstrong and Sting got into a heated argument that allowed the Serbian Six to escape. They’re thought to have returned to Serbia. Intelligence released by Europol has indicated that during the Yugoslav Wars, the various members of Serbian Six involved themselves in what would be considered war crimes. Whole villages were decimated by the Serbian Six. Later intelligence suggested that the Serbian Six were actually uberhumans that were collected at birth by scientists in the employee of Slobodan Milosivic. The exact purpose of this program remains unclear to this day, due to the fact that the current government of Serbia doesn’t acknowledge the existence of such a program. However, it has been proven that each of the ubers code names are numbers in the Serbian language. Since returning to Serbia, the Serbian Six have made a couple of attempts to overthrow the government of Serbia, and have clashed with military and super-heroes and super-villains of the republics that made up Yugoslavia, notably Doctor Kojic, Specula, and Pobjeda. Area of Operations The Serbian Six operate out of several former secret bases across Serbia. These were the places that they were raised. Otherwise, Serbian Six moves across Serbia in disguised moving vans. They’re fighting a guerrilla war with Serbia and it pays to keep on the move. Goals When the Serbian Six were working for Slobodan Milosivic their primary goal was to follow their “fathers” commands. One of his commands was to cause as much destruction as they could during the Yugoslav Wars. This the Serbian Six did quite well. With the loss of “father” the Serbian Six were at loose ends. Some of the members thought of leaving the group, but it was Neko who came up with the idea of overthrowing the Serbian government and installing themselves as the nations leaders. This idea appealed to the majority, and this is now their primary goal. However, once this goal is achieved the Serbian Six will turn their attention to the breakaway republics and reunite Yugoslavia. Reputation Not much is known about Serbian Six, and they aren’t too well known outside of the Balkan States. Their one claim to fame was their failed rescue attempt of Slobodan Milosevic at the Hague. Their rescue attempt brought them to the attention of several European super-hero teams. In the Balkan States, notably in Serbia, they’re seen as a major threat to the government. The Serbian Six have several times have attempted to overthrow the government. Their actions have also been against the breakaway republics, like Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, and recently Kosova.
  17. Re: Champions and the IRS The inspiration for Stanely Ispwich, came from the character Derek Lester played by Larry Miller in the movie "For Richer or Poorer" starring Tim Allen and Kristie Alley.
  18. Re: Champions and the IRS For those who've been wondering. AND I KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!! I actually did complete Stanley Ipswich. Here he is in four color style. Stanley Ipswich http://www.uber-world.com/characterpage.php?cid=885 Background Stanley Ipswich was the only child of parents who were both accountants. His parents noticed early on that Stan was a mathematical genius at the age of four. Stan was solving math problems way beyond his years. His parents encouraged Stan as much as any overachieving parent would. They thought Stan would make a great accountant. Growing up, Stan watched a lot of television when not working on some math problem or whatever. His favorite shows were Bonanza, Gunsmoke, and Paladin. These shows inspired Stan to want to help people. He thought about becoming a police officer, or maybe a FBI agent. This was to be his life’s dream. Stan graduated high school when he was sixteen, and got his bachelors degree in two years. He spent some time working as an accountant for his parents, while studying to join the local police force. Unfortunately, while Stan scored high on his entrance exam at the police academy, he did abysmally on the physical part of the test. Stanley didn’t do any sports, though he did like baseball, calculating batting averages, and collecting other minutia fact on the game. Needless to say, Stan didn’t become a cop. So Stan turned to his second dream, becoming an FBI agent. When Stan showed up at the government building, he was surprised at how many offices were in the building. It took Stan a half an hour to locate the offices of the FBI. Once in the agent took one look at the youthful man, and knew he would never make a good agent. This agent was of the old school, back when FBI agents were real men, and Stanley looked like he didn’t even shave yet. As a joke, the FBI agent directed Stanley to the office next door; maybe they could use someone with a talent for math. That office belonged to the Internal Revenue Service. It was a little surprising to Stanley that he didn’t become a policeman, or an FBI agent, but he still was an agent nonetheless, an IRS agent for crying out loud. However, oddly enough, it felt good. Stanley took to the IRS like a fish takes to water. He quickly rose in the ranks because Stanley had a lot of talent. Stan just knew, he really knew, when people were cheating on their taxes. Eventually Stanley was moved from audits to special enforcement. With the number of costumed Uberhumans on the increase in America, the Director of the IRS felt a new division was in order. Stanley was assigned to the Uberhuman Division of the IRS. While Stanley never became a hero of his boyhood, he could certainly become a hero of another sort; the type that makes sure that every American pays his fair share of taxes, be they wearing a mask or not. Personality Stanley has always been obsessed with order. He’s constantly straightening his tie. Some people have compared his habits to Rodney Dangerfield. His desk is probably the neatest desk in all of the IRS. Stanely has to restrain himself from straighten up other peoples areas, especially when doing an audit. The one thing that Stanley really gets upset about is those who cheat. Since he’s able to sense people who cheat on their taxes this doubly offends his sensibilities. Stanley will move heaven and earth to get at those who cheat. This is one of the reason he packs a pistol, and a kevlar vest for that matter. Quote "Well, this should discourage further violations of the federal tax code." Powers Stanley is a minor mentalist. His only real abilities is to mentally sense when someone cheats on his or her taxes. In a way it’s a very weak form of telepathy. Another side benefit to his power is that is difficult for other mentalists to influence his mind, especially if that mentalist is a tax cheat. Tax cheaters can’t hide from Stanley Ipswich, IRS Agent-Uberhuman Division. Stanley has seen a lot during his years with the IRS. For this reason alone he packs a Desert Eagle, and a kevlar vest just in case. Stanley has had a few encounters with some super-villains who got irrate that Stanley disallowed their deductions on their tax forms, a couple of so-called super-heroes as well. Appearance Stanley is a middle aged man who is going bald on top. He’s also slightly overweight, and is average in height. Stanely usually wears a suit that screams Fed. He keeps his rather large pistol in a shoulder holster under his jacket, and under the jacket he usually wears a kevlar vest, because an IRS agent never knows when the shooting might start. Stanley is always an immaculate dresser.
  19. Re: Around the World With A New Character Each Week POBJEDA (Montenegro) Dragoslav Petrovic http://www.uber-world.com/characterpage.php?cid=922 Background Dragoslav was lying on the roof of his apartment trying to get an all over tan. His passion was bodybuilding and if he did a little dancing on the side for the ladies, well at least paid the bills. One had to have a nice tan to really get noticed, and Dragoslav had slavered his body with coconut oil, and even went so far as to get one of those reflective things to focus the suns’ rays. Shades on, and the boom box next to him playing some of his favorite Montenegro tunes. Dragoslav was very relaxed. However, his relaxation seemed to be short lived. Dragoslav had heard the sounds of artillery fire before. One didn’t live in Serbia-Montenegro without the sounds of war. So it didn’t surprise him too much when he thought he heard the sounds of incoming shells, but there hadn’t been any fighting in this area for weeks. Dropping his reflector, Dragoslav stood up, and he had to dig a finger into his thong to get it from ridding up. This was also when the artillery shell hit him. Dragoslav was physically thrown back across the length of the roof, and if wasn’t for the retaining wall at the edge of the roof, he’d surely have gone over. Pain radiated out from his chest, from where he had been hit. Dragoslav knew he was going to die, and his life passed by his eyes. It didn’t take long. In that moment Dragoslav knew he had been a petty vain man, and he deeply regretted that he didn’t live a better life. Maybe a better life serving Montenegro, but alas he was going to die. Oh cruel fate. Dragoslav knew he was fated to die today; he hadn’t checked his horoscope that morning. He must’ve missed some dire warning. After a half an hour, of careful contemplation, Dragoslav came to the startling conclusion that he wasn’t going to die. Actually he felt really good. Cautiously he opened an eye and looked down his body. An odd shaped stone lay on his chest, and the oddest part of it that the stone looked a lot like the double headed eagle on the Montenegro flag. Standing up Dragoslav saw that he wasn’t actually hurt at all. His body was just as buff, or even more buff than it was before. It must have been the meteorite. Dragoslav felt like he had endless energy, and ran down to his apartment as happy as he could be. He never did see the rest of the meteor showing going on outside. Dragoslav knew, just knew that the meteorite was a sign from the heavens, and he just knew how he’d use his new found powers, for a cause, and what greater cause could there be than the independence of Montenegro from Serbia. Montenegro had to break free from the chains of Serbia, and Dragoslav would be that man to help. Rushing into his closet Dragoslav threw together a costume. Stepping out came Pobjeda, who would give Montenegro the victory it needed. Nothing would stop the Victory that Pobjeda would give to the people of his country. Dragoslav was so excited. Montenegro declared its independence from Serbia in 2006. Victory achieved, and now the newest nation in the world had a hero of it's own: Pobjeda. Personality Dragoslav has convinced himself that it is the meteorite that gives him his special powers. The truth is that Dragoslav always had a latent uber-gene for super-human strength, but it was the shock of the impact of the meteorite that triggered the transformation in his body. Taking the meteorite away from him will cause him to feel weak, but it’s all psychological. Eventually Dragoslav will figure it out, but that probably won’t be for years to come. Dragoslav is a strong believer in the new age religions. He often checks his horoscope to see if an outing against a super-villain would be in alignment with the stars. He would really like to meet a psychic who could predict the future for him. Of course, he knows that he’ll be victorious. Dragoslav is a staunch, some might even say jingoistic in his outlook. He’s a Montenegrin through and through, not like those ethnic Albanians, Bosnians, or Serbs. While not xenophobic, Dragoslav doesn’t particularly like any of them. Quote "We are sons of your rocks and keepers of your honesty!" Powers Dragoslav is an Uber-human with super-human strength. While not the strongest of uber-human, Dragoslav can certainly hold his own. He so strong that he can press a tank over his head. Throwing it is a different story. Dragoslav has a lot of control over his strength, and at times can become stronger still. Also because of his control, it’s very difficult to hold onto Dragoslav. During a battle with Doctor Kojic, Dragoslav was able to escape from the doctors’ grasp, even though Doctor Kojic is a lot stronger than Dragoslav. Finally Dragoslav can deliver punches that even armor platting can’t seemed to stand up against. Other unusual effects of his uber-human powers, is Dragonslav’s ability to absorb damage. Bullets and blades have a tendency to bounce off of his skin. Other energy attacks often seem to have no effect on him. Dragoslav just seems to take it with no harm to him whatsoever. Dragoslav has trained himself in the art of throwing things, from stones to even knives; whatever is handy. Backed with his super-human strength even the lightest of materials can cause a lot of damage. Appearance Dragoslav is a big man, standing over six feet in height, and weighing around two hundred pounds, and all of that sculpted muscle. He has been working on his body since he was a teenager, and the results show. Of course with his super-human strength he lifts cars instead of dumbbells. Dragoslav has short wavy dark hair, and constantly has a lock that falls across his forehead. His usual costume is a red wrestling singlet, with a plunging neckline that reaches to his belly button. Dragoslav’s chest is totally hairless, to better show of his physique. In addition to his singlet he wears gold colored sweat bands on both arms and on his head. To hide his identity Dragoslav wears shades that really make him look cool. On his feet his wears white athletic shoes, with matching socks. Hanging around his neck from a chain is a small meteorite that vaguely looks like a two headed eagle. The wings are up and connect with the chain. Dragoslav likes to pose a lot. His favorite pose he calls his ‘Victory’ pose, in which he spreads his feet wide, and throws an arm forward splays two fingers in the ‘Victory’ sign. Of course Dragoslav is always smiling while doing this. Dragoslav smiles a lot. It’s is good to be Montenegrin.
  20. Re: Kishi Banahana Goddess on the mountain top "POW!" Burning like a silver flame "ZOWIE!" The summit of beauty and love "KER-POW!" And Venus was her name "THUNK!"
  21. Re: Kishi Banahana Lastly every magical girl group needs that one girl who likes girls more than guys. So that one is Yuriko, who also falls in the theme of bad girl. Kishi Lily http://www.uber-world.com/characterpage.php?cid=880 Background Shiuli walked quickly down the street occasionally glancing back over her shoulder. She had ditched her bodyguards again, but this time at night. However, the temptation to meet Hiroko and Otsu at a soba shop had been too tempting, and why shouldn’t she be allowed to go out at night. Her father could be overbearing at times. She was young, and not ready to be tied down yet. She had been paying too much attention to what was behind her, and not what was in front. Shiuli ran straight into two boys who were coming towards her. Why she didn’t knock either one down, she did brush them aside. “Hey,” said the first, a guy with a lot of metal in his face (lip, eyebrow, and nose), “when you run into someone you should say you’re sorry or somethin’.” “Yeah,” said the other with a buzz cut and black sunglasses covering his eyes, even though the sun had set hours ago, “that’s real rude of you. Don’t you know that? Don’t you gaijin know that?” Both boys leered at Shiuili. “Say,” said Metal Face, “why don’t you go have some fun with us?” “Yeah,” said Shades, “fun. Lots of fun.” “Not on your life,” said Shiuli with a glare. The punch from Metal Face caught Shiuli totally unawares. She doubled over as the air was knocked out of her with a “Swooshing” sound. She felt like she was going to puke. Rough hands grabbed a hold of her, and the two guys started to drag her to a nearby alley. Her mind was in a spin from the shot to her gut. “Hey you two, leave her alone," came a young voice from behind them. Both turned to see a young Korean girl in pigtails with a pink vest and a white cowboy hair pointing a gun at them. “Ha hah,” laughed Metal Face, “Would you look at that? This little girl’s going to mess with us? Whatcha think of that Hiro?” Hiro sneered at the girl. “Go home before you get yourself hurt little girl,” said Hiro. “Chung-ae don’t think so,” said the little girl. Shiuli thought the girl was going to really get hurt. She was just about to say magical words that would turn her into Kishi Orchid, when the girl beat her to the punch. Shiuli and the two guys both looked at Chung-ae as she said, “Kishi Carnation TRANS-FORM-ATION!” A pink light engulfed Chung-ae, and a moment later Kishi Carnation stood in front of them. Shiuli felt her jaw hit the floor, and the two toughs weren’t in better shape. Standing holding a silver-plated six-shooter that should’ve taken two hands but was casually held in one, Chung-ae beamed at them all. “Pretty cool, don’tcha think,” said Chung-ae as she did a little curtsy. “Get ‘er Hideo,” shouted Hiro. Hideo didn’t need any more encouragement as they charged at Chung-ae. With a smile Chung-ae flipped like an acrobat over them, and fired her six-shooter. Shiuli thought the gun must’ve misfired because it barely made a sound, but the results were dramatic. Chung-ae landed lightly on her feet next to Shiuli and took her hand in hers. As for Hideo and Hiro they were both covered in million upon millions of carnation buds. The buds were so think that neither of them could move. “That should take of them,” said Chung-ae as she returned to normal. “I’m Chung-ae Jung,” said Chung-ae, “Hey you got a flower too. Does that mean you’re a Kishi Hanabana.” “Um, yes,” said Shiuli, “I’m Kishi Orchid.” “Wow,” said Chung-ae. “I’m on my way to the Soba shop. Do you want come? Hiroko and Otsu are going to be there.” “Wow”, said Chung-ae, “Chung-ae hasn’t seen them since, um, yesterday.” Hand in hand the two left for the Soba shop, Hiro and Hideo completely forgotten. It took the two thugs almost an hour to extract themselves from the flowers. Neither noticed the dark shadows that crept upon them until it was too late. Darkness claimed them. Later… The four girls had an excellent time at the Soba shop, but it was getting late. Hiroko and Otsu both offered to take Chung-ae home, and Shiuli quickly said her goodbyes. Her bodyguards surely must be beside themselves over worry about her. Shiuli had to chuckle at that thought. Lost in thought Shiuli walked back towards the apartment where she lived. She again didn’t notice the two shadows following her, at least until they attacked. They looked vaguely like the two roughs who attacked her earlier, but something about them seemed different. Maybe it was that they looked bigger, and maybe it was the strange weapons they wielded that got her attention. They carried flashlight like weapons that made Shiuli think about the weapons they used in the movie “Star Wars”. They even hummed like the light sabers from the movie. Shiuli only had a moment to react, and had to throw herself prone to avoid getting her pretty head removed from her shoulders. Shiuli smelt burning hair as the tip of her ponytail vanished. They’d pay for that. Springing upward Shiuli practically shouted the words, “Kishi Orchid TRANS-FORM-ATION!” The light enveloped her and the transformation to a knight flower came quickly. Out of the light came a club wielding Kishi Orchid. As she came down she thought she might hear the satisfying sound of her club crunching a rahshasa’s head. However, the demon actually blocked her blow. Shiuli let out a scream of pain as the other slashed a painful streak across her back. The Orchid Club of Love was a powerful weapon, but it could be used offensively or defensively, but not both at the same time. Shiuli fell back against a wall, and the rahshasa closed in. This was also the time she heard the sound of a motorcycle. Motor roaring both demons turned in time to see a motorcycle fly through the air. This was followed by the sound of the motorcycle falling on top of both rahshasa. The driver expertly landed and did a little spin, laying down a wide strip of rubber. As for the rahshasa one exploded into a million bits, while the other was luckier and had rolled out of the way. Shiuli and the demon both looked at the cyclist who had came to a complete halt. It was a girl from the shape of her, and when she removed her helmet long flowing white hair billowed around her head and shoulders. It was Yuriko Nakamura. Yuriko beamed at Shiuli and raise her two fingers in a victory sign before winking at Shiuli. The demon wasn’t impressed. With a shout of “Chaos” he leaped high into the air his light saber leading the way. Yuriko ducked out of the way, and the light saber cut a large gash into her motorcycle. She let out a scream of anger. “Hey you piece of sh*t! That was my onii-chan’s bike. I won’t forgive you for this.” Yuriko ran at the demon her arms flailing. With a shrug of its shoulders the chaos minion flung Yuriko away. However, instead of hitting a wall, she crashed into a man who had been standing in the shadows. Seemingly of their own volition a pair of hands closed around her bosom, and squeezed. Yuriko let out another wail, and screamed, “Noooo!” A swift kick backwards freed her from the lecherous hands. Yuriko turned to face the pervert who had grabbed her, and was taken aback when she saw that it wasn’t a chaos minion, but an old monk laid out on the ground, a look of utter pain painted on his face. With a trembling hand he held up a lily. Yuriko only paused to look at the monk before turning to see Shiuli fighting the chaos minion. She couldn’t help but sighing at the sight of Shiuli fighting. It was like watching poetry in motion, and stars seemed to shine from Yuriko’s eyes. Shiuli seemed to be holding her own against the demon, but wasn’t making any headway. Yuriko’s heart seemed to swell at the sight of Shiuli; she must help Shiuli. However, before she was able to take another step the monk grabbed her leg. “Wait,” he said, “Take this lily. It’ll help you.” More in annoyance that anything else made Yuriko take the stupid lily. She would throw it away as soon as she got to Shiuli. However, Yuriko only made one step before words came to her mind, and another before they left her lips. “Kishi Lily TRANS-FORM-ATION!” Yuriko couldn’t help but look down at the flower in her hand, as a brilliant white light enveloped her. The next thing Yuriko knew she was floating off the ground, and in the blink of an eye her motorcycle leathers vanished. Embarrassed to the core, Yuriko tried to cover herself. Her face flamed with embarrassment. Yet the embarrassment was short lived as white boots started growing from her toes all the way up to her knees. This was quickly followed by a black pleated skirt, a white blouse with a lily on the breast, and finally a pair of gloves the same color as her boots grew from her finger tips up to her elbows. Finally the light diminished and Yuriko was returned to the ground. However, not only had she transformed but also so had the lily. No longer was the flower a flower anymore, but a naginata with a blade shaped like a lily. Yuriko felt great energy flow through her, and she practically giggled; she felt that good. With a twirling of the naganata she leaped into battle. The chaos minion tried its best to hold off the two flower knights it was slowly loosing the battle. Things turned worse for the minion of Mister Chaos when Kishi Rose, and Kishi Daisy hurdled in from a nearby alleyway. Soon the demon exploded into a million bits and the battle was over. “I have a feeling that something was wrong,” said Hiroko after they had returned to normal. Meanwhile Niwashi had recovered from the blow dealt to him by Yuriko and came over to talk to the girls. However, before he was able to speak, Chung-ae seemed to appear out of nowhere. “So this is where everybody is,” said Chung-ae, “don’t leave Chung-ae out. Chung-ae is a good fighter too you know.” Niwashi paused to pat Chung-ae on the head, but stopped when the other girls stared at him. “Um…huh,” said Niwashi, “Well, there you go. The five flowers have truly bloomed. I cannot tell you what joys this brings me to see you five. Maybe the brothers will forgive my impertinence and allow me back into the Order of Order.” None of the girls had any idea what the perverted monk was talking about. All they knew was the Kishi Hanabana was fine group, and evil and chaos better beware. In celebration all five raise their flowers to the sky, and the moon smiled down upon them. Personality Yuriko is the only girl in an all male family. Her mother died giving birth to her youngest brother. After her mothers death the family moved from Okinawa to Tokyo. All of the Nakamura’s are known for their wild streak. Yuriko is no exception. There is no thrill too tame for Yuriko. When Yuriko succeeds she’s quick to let everyone know about it. In her family it’s the only way to get noticed. Yuriko can be a loudmouth at times. She doesn’t really care who hears or not, so long as she gets her point of view across. Coming from a family of all men, it might not be such a surprise that Yuriko likes women. The family house is full of pin-up girls. Her father owns a garage, and her older brother illegally races his motorcycle for quick cash. At times Yuriko borrows it without asking, naturally. Yuriko isn't old enough to drive, but she doesn't let that bother her. Most people don’t know what to think about Yuriko. She’s always has a smile for everybody, even if some people think there’s something wrong with her. However, people are wise not to cross Yuriko because she knows a few choice words that a girl her age shouldn’t. Quote "Kishi Lily TRANS-FORM-ATION!" Powers Yuriko has been given a magical lily by Niwashi the Gardener. When she calls out the magical words, “Kishi Lily TRANS-FORM-ATION!” she becomes Kishi Lily, or the Knight Lily. Her street clothes vanish and are replaced by her knight costume. This transformation does take a second or two to finish. Yuriko usually gets really embarrassed when the transformation occurs. Once transformed, Yuriko gains a lot more strength, stamina, and speed, but not really to a super-human level. More on the level of a well trained martial artist. Also transforming with Yuriko is her lily, which transforms into a naginata with the blade shaped like a lily. Yuriko can use either the blade of the naginata or the shaft. Using the blade, she can cut through almost any defense, while with the shaft she can deliver blows that will send a foe flying off into the distance. By twirling her naginata, Yuriko can form a field as such around her that protects her from most attacks. Yuriko has learned some martial arts from Niwashi, and some brawling from her brothers. Mostly, her martial art’s defensive in nature, but Yuriko can deliver a painful kick. Also the transformation grants Yuriko the ability to run and jump further than a girl her age. Appearance Yuriko is a beautiful young Japanese woman with a wild mane of white hair. She’s always having a smile for everybody, even those who don’t like her. Yuriko likes to wear bikers leathers when not wearing her school uniform, which she hates. She doesn’t much like skirts. It’s when Yuriko transforms into Kishi Lily that she truly shimmers. Her clothes go away, and are quickly replaced by a costume that is vaguely like a Japanese school uniform or Seifuku. Her boots are white in color and run up to her knees. Likewise her gloves (not a normal part of Japanese school uniform), run up to her elbows and are the same color as her boots. The rest of her costume consists in a short pleated black skirt (the only part of her costume that she doesn’t like), a white blouse with a sailor style attached collar, and with a lily on the breast pocket. Tied around her neck is a white neckerchief. Her normal clothing returns when she transforms back. Also her lily transforms, just like her. It becomes a naginata, a weapon similar to a halberd. The blade of naginata is shaped similar to a lily. Physically, Yuriko doesn’t change at all during the transformation. The only change that occurs is that her eye color changes from brown to a white. So far no one has been able to make the connection between Yuriko and Kishi Lily.
  22. Re: Kishi Banahana Another facet I've noticed was the rich girl, and this is where Shiuli Kumari comes in. Like Chung-ae, she's not originally from Japan, but India. Kishi Orchid http://www.uber-world.com/characterpage.php?cid=878 Background Shiuli Kumari didn't like Japan. She'd rather be back at her family estate outside of New Delhi. Shiuli really missed her horses. Sure there were riding clubs here in Tokyo, but Tokyo just seemed to be too busy for horse riding. Such was the fate of a diplomat's daughter. Thank Krishna that she took to languages so easily. Her Japanese was flawless, and if some Japanese looked at her strange, Shiuli would never get them the satisfaction of seeing how see felt. The limo taking her to school hit a pothole, and Shiuli was bounced a little in the back seat. "Sorry about that miss," said her bodyguard from the front seat. Shiuli frowned at the man. She just couldn't figure out what she needed a bodyguard for, let alone two. Certainly Japan was a safe country. A few of the countries her father had been assigned to, couldn't be considered as civilized as Japan. Besides Shiuli was old enough to take care of herself. Shiuli ditched them as often as she could, regardless of the lecture her father would give her later. At least the bodyguards weren't allowed to enter the school with her. Shiuli thanked Krishna for that. The limo came to a halt in front of the Han'ei Academy. One of her bodyguards jumped out and came back to her door and with a slight bow opened the door. Shiuli waited a moment, to check her hair, before getting out. She straightened her skirt, and had to hold it in place when an errant breeze blew. Shiuli had to marvel at the other girls in their short skirts, who just screamed and did their best to keep their skirts down. Of course all the boys had to stop and stare. Boys could be so immature. Shiuli had barely turned when two other girls ran right into her. One was Otsu Kamachi, and the other was Hiroko Ikoma. All three went flying in different directions and all landed on their derrieres. Almost in unison all three let an "Aww!" and standing up had to rub the offended part of their anatomy. Hiroko and Otsu both were quickly on their feet apologizing profusely to Shiuli. "I'm so sorry," said Otsu and Hiroko. "We're both sorry Shiuli-sempi." Shiuli at first glared at the girls. How dare they knock her down, but then she calmed down and with a nod of her head forgave them. Both girls beamed at Shiuli. "So," said Shiuli diplomatically, "what made you pick me as a target for that." As Shiuli walked on to the academy grounds, Hiroko walked at her side, while the more demure Otsu trailed behind. At first Hiroko didn't know what to say. Hiroko and Otsu had been talking about the magical flowers that Niwashi, had given them and that little girl Chung-ae; the magical flowers that let them transform into the Knight Flowers. It was just so, so magical. It was hard for Hiroko to grasp; she wasn't smart as Otsu. "Um," said Hiroko, "Otsu and I were deep in conversation, and we didn't see you." Hiroko rubbed the back of her head and looked sheepishly at Shiuli. Shiuli gave Hiroko a deep look. "Oh," said Shiuli in a teasing air, "could it have been about a certain Kamachi-chan?" "Um, um. No," said Hiroko turning crimson. Talk about her beloved Masao-kun often brought a blush to Hiroko. However, further conversation came to a halt with the sound of the bell. All three girls had to rush to get to class. It didn't pay to be late for Mister Tanaka's class. Those who did ended up cleaning the classroom after school. Too often Hiroko ended up with that punishment. Later that day… The girls' locker room was a noisy place. Girls were changing into their swimsuits, and the conversations ranged from whom was seeing whom to how much bigger their breasts had grown since their last physical, the usual. Shiuli had just pulled up the strap of her swimsuit, when she heard the outside door bang. In ran a breathless Hiroko shedding clothes as she ran. "I'm late. I'm late," she said through a mouthful of blouse. Shiuli had to smile. Hiroko always seemed to be late. Shiuli grabbed her swim cap and headed for the doors leading to the outside pool. Shiuli had just come to the line for her swim heat alongside Otsu and Hiroko, and the teacher had just blown her whistle when the pool seemed to explode. Water cascaded all over the place. Girls screamed hysterically. Shiuli, however, kept to her place until the monsters started coming out of the pool. Rahshasas armed with spears came flying from the depths of the pool, with screams of Chaos on their lips. One of the demons came after Shiuli throwing its spear at her. However, before the spear could hit her, someone knocked her over. Shiuli landed on someone, and another girl landed on top of her. Shiuli looked up into the face of Yuriko Nakamura. Her face was practically within kissing distance, and for some reason Yuriko was blushing profusely. It was then that Shiuli realized that their breasts were touching. Shiuli was speechless. Not sure what to, and Yuriko hadn’t moved her body off of Shiuli, Shiuli reached down to find out who they had landed on. She felt a leg, and that was odd because it was hairy. Shiuli felt higher, and yes it was definitely a hair leg. Shiuli and Yuriko both let out a scream. Unfortunately this seemed to have gotten the attention of the rahshasa again, and the demon reached down and threw Yuriko off of Shiuli. Yuriko continued to scream as she was thrown through the air. Her scream stopped when a blur of red leaped out of nowhere to grab her in mid-flight. However, Shiuli didn’t see that. She was too busy scrambling off of the man her and Yuriko had landed on. The man, who was not only old, but looked like a monk, lay stunned his arms and legs akimbo; the hem of his robes pushed up over his knobby knees. A look of pleasure mixed with pain painted his features. In his hand he held the most beautiful orchid that Shiuli had ever seen. With a trembling hand the old man extended the orchid to Shiuli. Reflexively Shiuli took the orchid, just as she felt the fetid breathe of the rahshasa on her back. Shiuli felt like screaming again, but didn’t. The words “Kishi Orchid TRANS-FORM-ATION!” came unbidden from her lips. A lavender light bloomed all around Shiuli, and she slowly rose from the ground, and in a blink of an eye her swimsuit had vanished. Shiuli was shaken to say the least. However, the transformation continued. Starting from her feet a pair of lavender boots grew up to her knees, and then at her waist a skirt of black was formed. Finally a pair of lavender gloves grew down from her fingertips to her elbows. The light faded, and Shiuli gently returned to the ground. However, not only had she transformed, but also so had the orchid. No longer was the orchid an orchid, but it had become a huge club, a club as tall as Shiuli was. Shiuli felt great power course through her like the sweetest tea. A smile came to her face as she hefted the massive club, which she shouldn’t have been able to lift, but felt as light as a flower. As for the rahshasa it looked dumbly at the transformed Shiuli. The monster said “Chaos” as if it was a question, and Shiuli smashed it in the face. Teeth shattered like icicles and the rashasha flew off into the sky before exploding like a firework. Laughing in delight Shiuli turned to see if there were any more monsters to fight. Shiuli was a little disappointed as two other girls dressed similarly to her were decimating the monsters. Both looked vaguely familiar, but it only took Shiuli a moment to realize that the one in red was Hiroko, and the other in green was Otsu. She didn’t have much time to contemplate on this because one of the rahshasa hefted his spear at her. With a speed she didn’t realize she possessed she blocked the spear and it clattered the ground. Through an agility she didn’t think she possessed, Shiuli did an acrobatic flip over to the monster and brought the immense club down on its misshapen head. The result of the blow was rather disgusting, as the rahshasa exploded into a million pieces. That seemed to be the end of the fight. Hiroko and Otsu came bounding over to Shiuli. Again the club had become an orchid, and Shiuli too had returned to her more normal self. Shiuli shook with the excitement of the fight. She had down at least two of the monsters. Hiroko squealed with pleasure and practically danced around Shiuli, and Otsu smiled shyly at Shiuli. “That was incredible,” said Hiroko, “You’re one of us too, and Knight Flower.” “A knight flower?” asked Shiuli. “Yes a Knight Flower,” said a man coming up behind Shiuli. Shiuli quickly turned to look at the man; the same man she had been thrown on by Yuriko moments ago, and who’d given her the orchid. However, Shiuli still couldn’t understand what a man, a monk by the looks of him, would be doing at a girl’s swimming pool. “And you are the Knight Orchid,” said the man, “I am Niwashi, the gardener. There is much I have to teach you, but then again you did magnificently. Chaos has again been thwarted.” Shiuli looked at the man doubtfully. Not only was he a pervert, but obviously unbalanced as well. Personality Shiuli comes from a high caste in India, and her father is an important diplomat. So it wouldn’t be much of a surprise that often times she thinks that she’s superior to everybody else. It’s the life she was born into. Her every need has always been met. Shiuli doesn’t quite understand the commitments Hiroko and Otsu have; they both have to work. She doesn’t mean to look down on others, but it’s hard to fight her upbringing. Shiuli learned at a young age to keep things to herself. Too often people would try to use her in someway, so Shiuli learned to put up barriers to protect herself. Rarely does Shiuli talk about herself, keeping most of her past inside. Naturally this drives the other girls at the Han’ei Academy to distraction. Everyone of them wants to know Shiuli better, but so far only Hiroko, Otsu, and Yuriko have been able to get close to Shiuli, not that this stops the other girls. Even a few of the guys have tried to get close to Shiuli. None of them have been successful to date. Shiuli thinks that there isn’t anything anyone can’t do with a little determination. Oddly enough when others are down, it’s Shiuli who often cheers them up, or offers advice on how to get through a problem. It never occurs to Shiuli that a task or even an opponent might be too challenging. She always goes at anything at a 110%. Quote "Kishi Orchid TRANS-FORM-ATION!" Powers Shiuli has been given a magical orchid by Niwashi the Gardener. When she calls out the magical words, “Kishi Orchid TRANS-FORM-ATION!” she becomes Kishi Orchid, or the Knight Orchid. Her street clothes vanish and are replaced by her knight costume. This transformation does take a second or two to finish. Once transformed, Shiuli gains a lot more strength, stamina, and speed, but not really to a super-human level. More on the level of a well trained martial artist. Also transforming with Shiuli is her orchid, which transforms into a massive lilac club. Shiuli generally uses her club in an offensive manner. She can deliver a blow that can knock a foe out with one blow so long as they aren’t wearing armor on their head or are surrounded by a force field. Shiuli can wind up and knock a foe a long distance away. Finally Shiuli can use the club like a shield and protect herself from most attacks. Even though the club is as large a Shiuli, can still wield it as if it were light as a feather. Shiuli has learned some martial arts from Niwashi. Mostly, it’s defensive in nature, but Shiuli can deliver a painful kick. Also the transformation grants Shiuli the ability to run and jump further than a girl her age. Appearance Shiuli is a beautiful Indian girl of sixteen years. She has flawless cocoa skin that is the envy of all the girls at the Han’ei Academy. Shiuli has long purple hair that she keeps in a ponytail that runs down to the middle of her back. She dresses only in the most expensive of fabrics, and generally wears a sari when she’s able to. Naturally at the Han’ei Academy she’s requires to wear the traditional school uniform. It’s when Shiuli transforms into Kishi Orchid that she truly gleams. Her expensive clothes vanish, and are quickly replaced by a costume that is vaguely like a Japanese school uniform or Seifuku. Her boots are lavender in color and run up to her knees. Likewise her gloves (not a normal part of Japanese school uniform), run up to her elbows and are the same color as her boots. The rest of her costume consists in a short pleated black skirt, a white blouse with a sailor style attached collar, and with an orchid on the breast pocket. Tied around her neck is a lavender neckerchief. Her normal clothing returns when she transforms back. Also her orchid, transforms into a massive club, which is tall as Shiuli is. Physically, Shiuli doesn’t change at all during the transformation. The only change that occurs is that her eye color changes from brown to a purple. So far no one has been able to make the connection between Shiuli and Kishi Orchid.
  23. Re: Kishi Banahana Next is Chung-ae Jung. Every magical girl team needs a youthful member, and Chung-ae fills that roll in spades. Kishi Carnation http://www.uber-world.com/characterpage.php?cid=873 Background Chung-ae Jung was a third generation Korean living in Japan. Her grandparent had fled Korea to Japan when the country tore itself in two. Her family settled in Tokyo, where they eventually set up their own Pachinko parlor. Chung-ae considered herself a Japanese girl, regardless that she had a Korean name. Actually Chung-ae, didn’t really it much thought. The Jungs were a fairly successful family, and kept close. Both of her grandparents still lived with Chung-ae and her parents in apartment over the parlor. Chung-ae was five when they got satellite television, and got introduced to the American western. Sure she didn’t understand the words, but she was fascinated by all the gunplay. Chung-ae begged and begged her father to get her a six-shooter. She was really disappointed when he told her that guns were illegal in Japan. Sometimes her father could be real dense. It took her grandfather to explain to him that a cap gun is what Chung-ae needed. Chung-ae couldn’t agree enough. Over the years Chung-ae had a lot of cap guns. She’d run around the apartment, and even into the neighborhood playing cowboy and Indians with the other children. However, she was really thrilled when her grandmother sewed her very own cowgirl outfit. Sure it wasn’t complicated; a frilled pink vest, along with a white cowboy hat the Grandmother had found in the market, but for Chung-ae she was in heaven. She thought she looked just like her idol Calamity Jane. One day during summer vacation, Chung-ae dressed in her usual cowgirl outfit was heading to the park when she saw a suspicious looking girl. Chung-ae thought she might be a bad guy/bad girl? Any ways, Chung-ae knew the girl looked suspicious, because she was wearing a trench coat, hat and sunglasses, and she was following another girl, secretly. This was too much for Chung-ae to resist. She just had to know what the girl was up to. Chung-ae sneaked up on the strange girl only like a twelve-year-old girl could. With cap gun in hand, Chung-ae said, “Hey Onee-Chan! Watcha you doing, huh?” The other girl practically leaped out of her skin. With a nervous titter, the girl said that she was secretly following her friend. Chung-ae looked past the girl, and saw the most amazing sight. A red headed girl was talking to this old man, who must have been a pervert, when the girl was enveloped with a light and then was levitated off the ground and then her clothes were gone (Chung-ae wasn’t sure why her clothes disappeared, but they did), but they were quickly replaced by a cute fuku style of costume. And to top it off, she had this whip thingy. She made Chung-ae think of her hero Calamity Jane. “Oh!” breathed Chung-ae, "Wow! she's beautiful", and the other girl turned around to see what Chung-ae was talking about. However, the redheaded girl had leaped over a tall wall. Chung-ae could only gap. That was quite the leap. It wasn’t long, however, that the redhead came back. This time through the wall that she had just leaped over. Chung-ae gripped her six-shooter tighter when she saw what had knocked the redhead through the wall. Two weasel-like men holding spears stepped through the hole intent on hurting the redhead. The other girl had meanwhile run up to the old man demanding that he help. Chung-ae didn’t know what help the old man could be, and her opinion was confirmed when he gave the girl a daisy. Then things got stranger still. Like the redheaded girl, this girl was enveloped in a light, this time green, and like the redheaded girl rose into the air. Once again her clothes disappeared, to be replaced with a costume similar to the redheaded girls. However, instead of a whip, this girl had a wheel like thingy with what Chung-ae could only think to be petals. It looked like a large daisy. Chung-ae didn’t have much time to watch as both girls swung into action. With two of them, the monsters didn’t have much of a chance. The next Chung-ae knew the monsters exploded into a million disgusting bits. Boy, that was really exciting. Chung-ae knew she couldn’t contain herself. She rushed up to the old man and yanked on his robe to get his attention. “Hey Onii-sama,” said Chung-ae as respectfully as possible, “Can Chung-ae have a flower too?” The old man looked down at Chung-ae, and said, “Why of course you can.” And he handed her a pink carnation. It was the most beautiful carnation that Chung-ae had ever seen. For a moment, Chung-ae waited for the light to envelope her too. She was really disappointed when nothing happened. Chung-ae looked up at the man a frown creasing her cute face. “It doesn’t work,” she said. He merely shrugged. Meanwhile the two had return to their normal selves. They came back over to where Chung-ae was talking to the man. The redhead called herself Hiroko, and her friend was Otsu, and the old man was Niwashi, a gardener. “And who are you?” asked Otsu. “I’m Chung-ae,” but a bright pink light that enveloped interrupted Chung-ae introducing herself. The words, “Kishi Carnation TRANS-FORM-ATION!” came unbidden from her lips. She was raised a little off the ground, and to her astonishment, her clothes disappeared just like the others had. And like them her clothes were replaced with clothing similar to the ones they had worn, except her gloves were fringed and a nice pink color. Also too the carnation that Niwashi had changed, just like Otsu’s daisy, and Hiroko’s rose. Chung-ae’s carnation turned into a silver plated six-shooter. It was a good thing that Chung-ae had changed because out of the blue, another monster came flying. Unlike the other ones, this one looked like a flying sheet. Hiroko and Otsu were both stunned and just stood there. Not Chung-ae. With a move that would put a professional acrobat to shame, Chung-ae did a forward flip, and opened fire with her carnation gun. The gun made a popping noise, but nothing as loud as a real gun, but huge red holes tore in the flying sheet monster, and like the other monster it too exploded into a million fragments. Chung-ae landed next to the other girls and struck a pose. She felt the power flowing through her, and it felt great. “Wow,” breathed Chung-ae, “That was so cool. Can Chung-ae do that again? Can Chung-ae? Can Chung-ae?” However, the light had appeared again, and once again Chung-ae was just a girl once more. As for Niwashi he beamed at them all. Personality Chung-ae is a young, innocent girl, who has lead a fairly sheltered life under her parents. Sure she knows about violence, but it’s more of the good guys wear white hats while the bad guys always were black. Her naivety often shows when she encounters something she doesn’t understand. Of course this doesn’t stop Chung-ae, she’ll just try to relate it to something she does understand, like American westerns. Others often get exasperated when Chung-ae talks like that. Chung-ae also has trouble staying still for long. She often gets in trouble at school for her inattentiveness. It’s not that she has an attention deficient, it just that Chung-ae is so curious about everything around her that she just has to take a look. This also might explain why she’s the quickest of the Kishi Hanabana. Her hyperactivity gets worse when Chung-ae has sweets, and naturally being a young girl, Chung-ae has a major sweet tooth. Quote "Kishi Carnation TRANS-FORM-ATION!" Powers Chung-ae has been given a magical carnation by Niwashi the Gardener. When she calls out the magical words, “Kishi Carnation TRANS-FORM-ATION!” she becomes Kishi Carnation, or the Knight Carnation. Her street clothes vanish and are replaced by her knight costume. This transformation does take a second or two to finish. Once transformed, Chung-ae gains a lot more strength, stamina, and speed, but not really to a super-human level. More on the level of a well trained martial artist. Chung-ae, however, is the fastest of the Kishi Hanabana Also transforming with Chung-ae is her carnation, which transforms into a silver plated six shooter. Even though the six shooter looks like a normal fire arm, it never runs out of ammo. Defensively Chung-ae can use the six shooter to block attacks against herself. Offensively, the six shooter fire expanding carnation blooms. With a single shoot, Chung-ae can cover a large area with one carnation bloom. The bloom can either entrap a foe, or cause physical damage. Chung-ae can also feather the trigger firing a burst of five shots which create smaller blooms. Chung-ae has learned some martial arts from Niwashi. Mostly, it’s defensive in nature, but Chung-ae can deliver a painful kick. Also the transformation grants Chung-ae the ability to run and jump further than a girl her age. Appearance Chung-ae Jung, is a young girl of Korean descent, but she was born in Tokyo, as were her parents. She isn’t very tall, but then again she’s only twelve years old. Chung-ae is cute girl though. She has large brown eyes, and her long pink hair is kept in pigtails. Chung-ae doesn’t go anywhere without the pink cowgirl vest that her grandmother sewed for her. Also to complete her outfit is a cap gun, and a white cowgirl hat that her grandmother found for her in the market. It’s when Chung-ae transforms into Kishi Carnation that she truly changes. Her street clothes vanish, and are quickly replaced by a costume that is vaguely like a Japanese school uniform or Seifuku. Her boots are pink in color and run up to her knees. The rest of her costume consists in a short black skirt, a white blouse with a sailor style attached collar, and with a carnation on the breast pocket. Tied around her neck is a pink neckerchief. Also her carnation transforms into a silver plated six shooter with carnation engraved on the barrel. Physically Chung-ae doesn’t change at all. The only change that occurs is that her eye color turns from brown to a pink color. So far, even her parents and grandparents who often keep an eye out for Chung-ae haven’t noticed.
  24. Re: Kishi Banahana Next we have Hiroko's best friend Otsu. Kishi Daisy http://www.uber-world.com/characterpage.php?cid=872 Background Otsu Kamachi came from a long line of booksellers. Her family had run the Book-a-Topia for three generations, of which Otsu was the youngest member of the family. She was the hardest working of her parents’ children, unlike her older brother Masao. Her brother could be counted on to find something better to do than work in the store. Otsu had been born in the city of Yokohama, but when her grandparents had decided to retire the whole family moved to Tokyo. It was in elementary school that Otsu met her best friend Hiroko Ikoma. Otsu was always a quiet girl, and some of the other girls at her school thought it would be fun to pick on Otsu, because she wouldn’t defend herself. It was Hiroko who came to her rescue and sent the mean girls packing. Her friendship with Hiroko was perfect. Hiroko wasn’t good at schoolwork, and it wasn’t long after that Otsu decided to tutor her. On the other hand, Otsu couldn’t boil water without burning it, and Hiroko was a fairly good cook. It was while the two were just starting middle school that things changed a little. Masao being two years older than she had gotten a moped for his birthday, and instantly thought he was some kind of biker or something. Otsu just thought he looked ridiculous trying to look tough and all. It came as quite a shock to Otsu when Hiroko confessed to Otsu her undying love for her brother. Of course Hiroko couldn’t confess her feelings to Masao, as she would be too embarrassed. Otsu wasn’t sure what to do; it was only Masao after all. Things got even weirder when Hiroko started making Masao box lunches. Hiroko seemed to prepare a new one every day. Not that Masao took any notice of this however, he just gulped down the food and thanked Hiroko before getting on his moped and taking off to join his friends. At first Hiroko would become maudlin over this, but then later would say that her box lunch wasn’t good enough for her Masao-kun, and be off to create an even more perfect box for him. It seemed so illogical to Otsu. However, the girls’ friendship was strong as ever. Both needed each other, and helped out one another all the time. It was a rare day when both were calling the other on her cell phone. Otsu got excited when she was able to get tickets to the Sapporo Photo-Sticker Convention. Naturally she invited Hiroko along. Otsu really got a kick out of photo-stickers and had quite a collection of photos of her, and Hiroko, and even a few of her and Masao. So the two girls had to board the Honshu Express bullet train that would take them out of Tokyo and down south to Sapporo. Otsu and Hiroko were in deep conversation, or as her father put it, girl talk, when the train shuddered violently. This was quickly followed by the sound of tearing metal. Like the rest of the passengers, the girls watched in horror as two strange manlike creatures tore the roof from their car. The creatures seemed to be like something out of their worst nightmares, they were twisted and grossly deformed. Otsu felt like she was going to have a panic attack. She didn’t like icky things. With lurching steps the monsters came toward the two girls. Hiroko leaped to her feet and stood in front of Otsu. She wouldn’t let Otsu be hurt. However Hiroko herself, didn’t have to fight against them as two different men leaped into the hole created by the monsters. Hiroko and Otsu recognized them immediately, as did the rest of the passengers. It was Shenshudan One, the heroes of Japan. One of them was the cricket hero Koroogi, and the other was the robotic Ichiro. Otsu barely saw them however, because she had lost her glasses in the struggle. It was a blurry scene that Otsu saw. The brown blur, which she thought was Koroogi, had kicked one of the monsters so hard that it blew a hole out of the train and was lost from view. Meanwhile, the black and silver blur fire beam of bright red light at the second. This seemed to be too much for the monster because it exploded into a disgusting pile. By the time Otsu found her glasses the heroes was gone, but she could clearly see the smile on Hiroko’s face. The girl looked excited. Otsu was a little disappointed. She had a little crush on Koroogi herself. A few weeks after the incident of the train, Otsu noticed that Hiroko would disappear at the oddest times. It didn’t make much sense to Otsu. She wondered if Hiroko had found a new best friend, or maybe a new boy friend (her brother wasn’t much of one if you asked Otsu). After the third time, Otsu was determined to follow Hiroko and find out what she was doing. Putting on a trench coat, a hat, and sunglasses Otsu tried to secretly follow Hiroko. Otsu was a little surprised when she saw Hiroko talking to an old man; he must be a pervert, as he acted like he wanted to touch Hiroko. Otsu was just about to interrupt when she something poke her in the back. She about jumped out of her skin, because she just knew that it was a gun. “Hey Onee-Chan,” said a voice behind her, “whatcha doing, huh?” A nervous Otsu turned to see young girl in pigtails dressed as a cowgirl, pointing a cap gun at her. Otsu let a loud sigh of relief after she saw that it was only a little girl. “If you must know,” said Otsu conspiratorially, “I’m secretly falling my friend. She has been acting suspiciously lately.” “Oh,” said the girl, as she peered past Otsu, and then let out a “Wow! She’s beautiful.” Otsu quickly turned back around, but Hiroko was gone. Otsu couldn’t help but gape. Hiroko had just been there, and then she was gone. However, the old man was still with a bemused look on his face. Angrily Otsu rushed up to the man her finger pointing. She didn’t notice the young girl trailing behind her. “You! You!” growled Otsu, “What did you do with Hiroko? Well! Well!” Otsu was practically hysterical over losing sight of Hiroko. Otsu wasn’t able to say much more, as a nearby wall exploded, and beautiful costumed girl flew towards them, knocking them all to the ground. The girl looked awful familiar. As did the two monsters who stepped through the ruined wall towards them. Otsu couldn’t help herself, and screamed at the top of her lungs. The young girl seemed to be extremely excited at the sight of two Chaos Minions coming toward them. The costumed girl picked herself up, dusted off her clothes, and Otsu got a real close look at her. “Hiroko?” Hiroko turned and smiled at Otsu. “Isn’t this great Otsu,” said Hiroko, “I can be just like Senshudan One.” “I won’t forgive you!” shouted Hiroko as she charged the Chaos Minions. However, Hiroko didn’t seem to be having much luck with the Chaos Minions. These ones seemed faster than her, and soon tears showed in Hiroko’s dress. Otsu was quickly at her wits end. She rushed over to the man, who just stood there watching. “You got to do something,” she pleaded. However, he just gave a hopeless shrug to Otsu. “Here,” he said, “take this.” The man handed Otsu a daisy. Otsu totally lost it. She actually yelled at the man. “What am I supposed to do with this?!!!!” And then it came to her unbidden. “Kishi Daisy TRANS-FORM-ATION!” A bright green glow bloomed around Otsu, and she slowly raised off of the ground. In a blink of an eye, her clothes vanished. Otsu was mortified. However, the transformation continued. Starting from her feet a pair of verdant boots grew, and then at her waist a skirt of black was formed. Finally a pair of verdant gloves grew down from her finger tips to her elbows. The light faded, and Otsu gently returned to the ground. However, not only had she transformed, but so had the daisy. No longer was the daisy a daisy, but had became a hoop with broad petals projected around the edge of the hoop. Otsu felt great power coursing through her, and it took her moment to analyze what had happened. “Wow!” she exclaimed. “Well don’t just stand there,” said the man, “Kishi Rose can certainly use your help.” “Right,” said Otsu as she jumped into the fray. Her normal demeanor of being meek was momentarily forgotten. It felt good to fight against the Chaos Minions. It was long after her transformation that the Chaos Minions were exploding. It was still icky, but Otsu didn’t have much time to reflect upon it because when the fight was over she and Hiroko transformed back into their normal forms. Hiroko was still excited from the fight. Hiroko quickly introduced Otsu to the man, whose name was Niwashi, a monk of the Ryu-Dai Monastery. It was Niwashi who gave Hiroko a magical flower that let her fight crime, just like Senshudan One, and now her best friend could fight alongside Hiroko as Kishi Daisy. Niwashi stood back and beamed at the two girls. His flowers were certainly blooming. Chaos would be held in check. However, his revery was interrupted by a tug of his robes. Looking down he saw a young girl in pigtails. “Hey onii-sama,” said the girl, “can Chung-ae have a flower too?” Niwashi beamed down at the girl. Personality Otsu has always been really smart. She’s the smartest girl in her class. Her one weakness is that she just can’t cook, at all. It’s a good thing that she’s friends with Hiroko, who’s a descent cook. Otsu always likes to use her intelligence to analyze any situation. Sometimes people think that Otsu is too brainy, especially her brother Masao, but being as smart as Otsu is, she doesn’t seem to notice it. Otsu isn’t really good in social situations, another good reason to be best friends with Hiroko. Usually Otsu is really a reserved person, very demure. Otsu has never had a boy friend, and usually doesn’t understand Hiroko’s attraction to Masao. The few times that Otsu comes out of her shell is when Hiroko is in danger or when she encounters something icky. Quote "Kishi Daisy TRANS-FORM-ATION!" Powers Otsu has been given a magical daisy by Niwashi the Gardener. When she calls out the magical words, “Kishi Daisy TRANS-FORM-ATION!” she becomes Kishi Daisy, or the Knight Daisy. Also transforming with Otsu is her daisy, which transforms into a hoop surrounded by petal-like projections. With her daisy, Otsu is able to perform a number of special maneuvers, from a move where she spins the hoop all around her can anyone hit is bound to get hurt. Or Otsu can fling the hoop causing it to multiply forming a chain around a foe. Defensively Otsu can use the hoop to deflect ranged attacks, or even use it as a personal shield. Otsu has learned some martial arts from Niwashi. Mostly, it’s defensive in nature, but Otsu can deliver a painful kick. Also the transformation grants Otsu the ability to run and jump further than a girl her age. Appearance Otsu is a fifteen year old girl who wears glasses. She’s isn’t very tall; barely over five feet in height, but she’s a little taller than Hiroko. She has light brown eyes, and short blonde hair color.. Typically Otsu likes to wear long skirted dresses with plenty of pockets for her books. However, Otsu always seems to be carrying a daisy around with her. It’s when Otsu transforms into Kishi Daisy that she truly shines. Her street clothes vanish, and are quickly replaced by a costume that is vaguely like a Japanese school uniform or Seifuku. 25. Re: Kishi Banahana That would be just the white chrysanthemum. It is flower just for funerals. Kind of like lilies I guess. Actually the chrysanthemum is the royal seal of the Emperor of Japan.
