Re: Doc Savage The earlier stories are better, in my opinion, than the later ones. Once Doc's adventures catch up with WW2, they stop working so well for me. If I had to put a range to it (as opposed to individual novels) I'd say everythign up to about #80 were the best. The John Sunlight stories stand out in my mind as better than average, though. If you check http://www.Blackmask.com I believe they have plain PDF cpoies of almost all (if not all) of the Doc Savage and Shadow stories, and I know that they sell inexpensive PDF copies of some of both that include cover scans and the original illustrations.
