1. Re: Superhero Bases In Your Campaign

I'm in a campaign that has receintly been re-started with new players and returning players creating new characters. Mine is the only holdover from the old team. Enforcer has a 95 point base orbiting the Earth when he wasn't at the main complex. Since the old team has vanished and it's base has been taken over by the government, Guess where the GM relocated the team?

Werehawk, do you have a color scheme for Demonangel?

    - Christopher Mullins

Her bodysuit is maroon with black sleeves and beige shoulder rings. Her mask is black and ends where the jewelry begins on her chest. The jewelry is gold and white crystals. She wears beige leggings and black boots. Her cape is black on the outside and blood red on the inside. She has sandy blonde hair.

Major Adam Trask had seen it all, done it all, and God knows what else in between in his twenty plus years with the U.S.Army. A no-holds-barred soldier who got the job done regardless of the political consequences involved. His heavily scared face is a roadmap of what war is all about. His men respected the so-called "Invincible Iron Man" because they knew that they would accomplish the impossible and live to tell the tale. It was this stubborn refusal to die despite all odds against him and his brilliant tactical prowess that he was tapped to lead a highly advanced P.M.C. of soldiers like himself to take on missions governments wouldn't dare attempt but must be done. With the most advanced weapon systems that not even the government has in its arsenal, Major Trask and his "X-Force" take the fights to where they should be fought. Now, every despot and psychopathic leader and terrorist has more reason to fear the "Invincible Iron Man" and his "X-Force".

I have a similar character named Enforcer who also uses a Multiform suit of armour that utilizes eight different forms; Ground, Air Operations, Sea, Space, Stealth, N.B.C.(Nuclear,Biological,and Chemical), Arctic, and a "Triple" suit that covers Desert, Mountainous, and Jungle terrains.

Enforcer is a member of a interplanetary security force for a system alliance known as the Octagon.

    Skate Girl (Draft 2)

    Drawing by Werehawk

    Colorization by Christopher Mullins

    How's this?

Her jacket is a shade or two lighter than her boots ( but darker than your first draft). Other than that, good job as always.

You almost got it on the first try.

    1) She is a blonde.

    2) Her jacket and mask are blue (although a darker shade is needed)

    3) her leggings are white (all white)

Her collar and and orniment are white as are her gloves. Her boots are the same shade of blue as her jacket. the belt and leg trim are gray with dark blue along the sides. Her eyes are white.

This is Skater Girl, a Russian teen speed skater who can create an energy field that allows her "skate" at hyper speeds. She is a member of the GDI's Sappire Squad and has to play both mother and sister to her nine year old sibling because they were abandonned by their parents when they were younger and has developed a negative view of the world.

She will be avalible in two events at Origins this year, " '43 Oktober" and "Sapphire and Steel".

    Moonraker (Draft 1)

    Artist: Werehawk

    Colorist: Christopher Mullins

Werehawk, I'm sure I don't have everything correct. What needs to be changed. Also, what is the date that you signed on this piece? I'm having difficulty reading it.

The eyes on the mask are white and her forehead is gold. The green is much darker than what is shown. I used the latest version of Australia's Soccer uniforms as a referance.

The signature is towards the bottom right corner parrallel to her ankle. It reads 1/27/06

Here's what I was able to get done during lunch. I hope I'm putting the colors in the right place. I couldn't figure out where the maroon would go though.

I LOVE THE FIRE EFFECT. This makes him look more dangerous than I envisioned.

The maroon is mostly on his jacket and pouch on the belt. I originally wanted bronze on the metal parts but copper looks better. My compliments.

    Opinion Poll

    Which looks better?

    Any ideas for color changes?

    Moonraker Background

Go with the first one. She is hovering above Earth.

As for Moonraker. She wears a white outfit with forrest green gloves, boots, mask, cape, inner "V" collar, and leg strips trimmed with "USC" gold as well as the belt, forehead piece, outer"V", and shoulder pads. She is a golden blonde.

Dust Devil wears a tan outfit with brown gloves, boots, and "v" on the chest. Her collar is yellow and black and her belt is maroon with a silver buckle.

Here are some heros who operate Down Under.

This is Moonraker. Her heritage is half Human, half Questoran (an immortal super race in my campaign). She has FTL flight, super strength, invulnerability, various EB's, and more. She has also inherited the same weakness to sonic attacks.

This is Firebolt. He, along with an agent named named Lyrebird (image to be shown later) is on the run from a sinister organization that wants to use mutants like himself for nefarious purposes.

His body generates intense heat and requires a special suit to to contain his energies.

This is Dust Devil. She is a happy-go-lucky aboriginal teenager with super speed that works as a scout in the Outback along with her bickering friends and mentors Rockhead and Ironhead (again, images to be shown later) as well as the calming influence between the two.

  12. Re: Anywhere but your own country

If you can fnd them' date=' try to get a series of documantaries called "The Secret KGB (insert subject) Files", hosted by Roger Moore. Such subjects range form (these I have in my collection) UFO, Paranormal, UFO abduction, and (not in my collection, but have watched) sex and JFK assassination. They're all actually quite interesting.[/quote']

I do remember seeing a Russia-related show in which he was the narrator, it may have been under a different title here and I don't recall seeing other shows since I caught it channel surfing.

  13. Re: Anywhere but your own country

My campaign (which is stuck on hiatis mode do to work) is international in scope, but it is centered for the most part in Russia. The majority of the player characters are Russian and their earthbound HQ is in St Petersburg. The city of Novosibiersk is the team's home away from home.

I have entered two events at Origins this year that take place in Russia using mostly Russian characters.

Russia provides a treasure trove of plot seeds due to the secretive nature of the old Soviet Union. Anything you might come up with has a good chance of being revieled later to be even more bizarre than you thought. I found out that UFO stories ( which is the main focus of the campaign ) is as much a part of Russian mythology as the Olympian gods were to ancient Greece.

If you have The History Channel or a similar network in your home countries, I would look out for these presentations. 1) "Siberia: How the East Was Won", 2) "Soviet Space Disasters" (History Undercover). and 3) the series "UFO Files" - "Russia's Roswell". There is also a series about international organized crime syndicates that had an episode about the "Red Fellas" that is a must because that is an enemy that shows up often (and a significant Hunted).
