  1. If someone with an autofire attack rolls a 3 on the initial roll to hit, do all shots automatically hit? Thanks for the previous answer and TIA for this one.
  2. Are their any restrictions on taking 1d6-1 over 1/2d6 for Killing Attack DC 2? (10 AP) What is the minimum value for 1d6-1 killing attack before defenses?
  3. Re: Define [steam/diesel/whatever] - punk? It only meant what punk meant in the early 80s, counter-culture, fashion, music. It later became far too over-analyzed and today has been transformed into something so broad it begins to lack definition. If you want the purest interpretation, just wiki the word punk. That is what it meant to the earliest Cyberpunk writers. The dystopic additions are more an effect of the blending with the cyber part than the intrinsic meaning of punk. (especially the blade runner effect and the noir/hardboiled detective elements.) So, in the purest sense Steampunk is Victorians running around listening to black flag, sporting a blue spiked mohawk and bitching about how the other bands are selling out. What people mean when they say Steampunk would be expressed better as Steamnoir, but then it never plays that way does it? It usually plays more like SteamVerne... ne?

  5. Re: Battletech Mecha First Loves, Favourites, and just plain silly. Light: Panther - A 35ton jumper with a PPC. All the other light mechs drained their coolant when they saw it. Medium: Hunchback - A HB in a city was scary. You turn the corner and get a face full of AC20... Heavy: Warhammer - Won MVP of a tourny in one of these. Best looking mech in the game. Assault: Battlemaster - This was the assault you met most. Nobody wanted to pay for the Atlas, and the Awesome just got to darn hot. I have great stories in both wargames and Mechwarrio RPG games in all four of these mechs. I'll never forget them... As far as clan... the complete flexibility of omni mechs helped kill the battletech wargame. (imo)
