So would it be the first 3 responses posted?

Re: Re-Imaged Hero(ines)
I think you should post a new name and then, since I have a reminder for this, I will see it and post to it and then it can start back up.

Re: What Fantasy/Sci-Fi book have you just finished? Please rate it...
Last week finished this book
The Clockwork King of Orl
Good fantasy, little Tomb Raiderish in parts, heroine always wins and her ex b/f is the best archer ever, etc. but some really nice parts to it. Got it at B&N so with the discount it was worth the price of admission. Good enough that I am looking for the others in the series and want to check out the other series from the publisher. Likely I will like them because.
Back to book, some almost clockwork / magic elements, good ideas for traps in a few spots, some cool other ideas I could so steal for gaming.
Felt rather MMORPGish in spots, so keep that in mind if you get it.

Read Mainspring by Jay Lake. In an Earth hung on rails, circling a lamp that is the sun, an apprentice clockmaker is charged with winding the mainspring of the world. It was okay, but I can't recommend it.CES
I on the other hand have already read it and have recommended it to several people. I just picked up the sequel Escarpment, not started it yet, got like 3 in front of it.

Re: Your PCs might be Underpowered if...
You have more REC than END or STUN.I hate to admit I have made a few characters that almost fit this. Now I must do so.

Re: Your Dream Projects For Hero Books
As I've mentioned elsewhere Kazei 5 might be what you're looking for with regards to Cyber Hero.Might i have a link please
same for this Blacksladd?

Re: Your Dream Projects For Hero Books
I have EspionageNow you see that is what I am talking about.
If Steve would release the old text, a competent person could update the stats to 5th or 6th edition, and expose the joy to more people.
Same with Horror Hero, Cyberhero, etc. I would totally pay for just that sort of updated texts.

Re: Rocketship Empires!
Thought to pass this along.http://www.rocketshipempires.com/
It's a systemless campaign setting mixing pulp WWII, space opera, and Lovecraftian horror.
Very interesting read, with lots of stuff worth stealing if you don't want to use the setting by itself.
The forums actually mention using Hero as one of the systems to run it with.
Very nice page thanks for pointing it out

Re: I bought me some Stronghold!
I ordered it four minutes ago from the Online Store. Now if you'll excuse me' date=' I thought I heard a UPS truck outside!!! Soon I will be able to run that Cinemax late night-inspired Super Caged Heat campaign with Howler and Scorpia. Woo hoo![/quote']i skimmed it at my FLGS, looked thin for the cover price and not what i needed
Looking forward to other input

Re: Your Dream Projects For Hero Books
Fable Hero would be fun, I agree: tall tales, fables, myths, etc. I've long thought a massively multiplayer online game using that concept would work: your characters can step between mythological areas based on the map. You're in Texas, you get tall tales, you're in Oregon you get Indian myths, you're in Finnland, you get the Finnish mythos, you're in Greece, you get greek myths. It would be like 50 games in one, with the ability to port between them. You could even put superheroic stuff in New York City and fantasy role playing in England.
I really like this idea.
