Re: Armored Suit
Sure, go very light on the stats, all OIF for the armor, not very powerful really but sure, armor, flight, EB, some LS, and good to go.

Re: Any interest in a Zodiac villain group?
There used to be a zodiac group in an old old OLD expansion for Champions. I thought it might be fun to create a new group. I'm not big on originality, but I like carrying on a project from other ideas and sources.I'm not inclined to work on this if there's zero interest in it though. If you search around in this forum you can see a hijack that I did of Hermit's Adonis. I made a whole bunch of sexy lady supers for him.
I would like one

Re: Is it worth it to make stuff on your free time without even playing them?
Yes I think it is worthwhile
if you enjoy it
then it is worthwhile

Re: What Fantasy/Sci-Fi book have you just finished? Please rate it...
Whitechapel Gods by SM Peter
I honestly thought it rocked
Excellent Neo-Victorian, some good weapons, excellent villians, a few plot twists overall, and an ok ending.
Really worth picking up if you like steampunk at all

Re: Genre-crossover nightmares
There's Something About Mary Poppins.A grown up geek and a sleazy private dick compete for the affections of a quasi-magical British nanny.

Re: What Age are we in now
First rule of Reboot...don't talk about Reboot.I totally love that Series
Hero would so work for that
in so many ways it would
-
Re: What about a Space 1999 Hero
I loved both series, along with many other Supermarionation series
I think it would rock personally

Re: What Age are we in now
Thanks to everyone who has posted so far
I am totally going to adopt a lot of these ideas and comments
Far as Amalgam goes, I got a ton of those when they came out
I got the M&M Iron Age sourcebook and in there they call this the Nascent Modern Age
I kinda like Rusted better
back to getting some comics to reacquaint myself with the current stock.

Re: Flamepunk!!
I have a Manapunk started document, I am a huge Steam and Cyberpunk fan. Dieselpunk has yet to be well represented with the sole entry I know of being Children of the Sun
link
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Children_of_the_Sun_(role-playing_game)
It does not succeed in what I think it should given the term Dieselpunk but I do like the setting. I do own the book.
I would like a real Dieselpunk game or setting at least. Need to come up with terms to relate to it.

Re: Would You Allow.....?
I would allow that. Seems reasonable to me as well as a logical extension of the genre.

Re: What Age are we in now
Thanks Hugh
that works wonders for me
Shows me my prior gaming is pretty firm into the Bronze Age with some dabbling in Iron Age, not a whole lot but some.

Re: What Age are we in now
Golden Age actually goes all the way back to the 30s/40s.Silver Age is the adaption of the Comics Code in the 50s (IIRC).
Bronze Age is the 70s through early 80s.
Iron Age is mid 80s onwards.
I think, and I don't really follow comics, we're in the "Diamond Age" or some such rubbish.
I'll start reading 'em regularly when we're in the Molybdenum Age.
Cool then, I was not sure.
I saw some Iron Age supplement for M&M the other day when I bought Madmen and Masterminds for Hero Pulp and I was not really sure.
So it wont matter what I declare my new city to be like
Thanks tons for the reply

Re: What Age are we in now
Fondant Age.Works best for the Great Cakester Master of Towering masterpieces
Cool answer

Ok
I am trying to get caught up here on the idea of Golden Age, Silver Age, Iron Age of Comics, and where are we technically at now
so Golden Age is back in the 50s I take it
Silver Age follows I believe
Iron Age is 70s to 80s, when I was reading them the most, the most influence (Marvel Comics especially) on my old Champions Gaming.
So the question is, what Age, what defining characteristics are we in right now?
Just curious thanks
