  1. I am putting the final touches on a character of mine who can teleport as their main power and project an energy blast of sorts as their secondary. I am trying to come up with a more solid definition of how his powers can work, but don't know for sure if they are possible ideas or not. The way he uses portals will be that he BAMFS like nightcrawler or can create portals for other uses. I am trying to get a build down for the portals, using the basics for gates, but still slightly different. Has anybody else created a character like this? Ideas: 1. Redirection via portal 2. Portal jumping for team 3. Teleport UAA 4. Thrown objects being teleported immediately in front of the enemy to possibly surprise. I would love to hear how people would go about building these or other ideas I may have overlooked, thanks!
  2. A friend of mine mentioned that it would be cool to use whirlpools or cyclones as a method of travel instead of speed, so possibly tunneling only through water? I thought this was another unique idea worth adding. You could add some of the other things mentioned on a smaller scale to those who are around the person while they are tunneling. Flash disorientation might be cool as people are spun in the water for example. Just spit balling some more ideas, I like the concept of this thread.
  3. I feel like this may be a rather silly question, but I thought of putting it here anyways to get a solid answer instead of several potential ones... Here goes When using MegaScale and adding it to our movement powers (Teleport for example), and not taking the less limitation for "must use MegaScale for its defined upper limit every time", does this mean that I could take 1m(1CP) of Teleport and add 1.25(10Km) of MegaScale as a way of saving CP or do I need to take some sort of reflection of the MegaScale in the original power, in this case Teleport. Something like 10m Teleport + the 10KM MegaScale? I would love to hear about this or anything else that may relate to MegaScale I may have overlooked. Also, I am using Champions Complete it that helps for referencing pages.
  4. Also balancing some of these fights with say more thugs, but weaker ones... or fewer but more brutish could also give you an idea as to what the players should be ready for... I am new to this system so this may be obvious, sorry if it is.

So I have the Champions Complete book and have an idea to make a character who is made of some kind of sticky material and has several abilities that would all induce entangle with sticky of some kind. Immunities to certain elemental conditions while weaknesses to others. The basic idea comes from Clay Face, enemy of Batman, if people don't know what I am meaning. I have some ideas for powers but would also like to see what others could think up using this concept. This is also a quick list of things off the top of my head. My ideas: 1. Desolidification / Tunneling 2. HA - KB(range off STR) - DKB - Entangle(sticky) 3. Density - Time Limit (1 Turn) 4. RKA - Only if Dense 5. Entangle(sticky) 6. Dmg Reduction / Absorption
  6. 1. depending on how big the eye of it is it could be considered shielding from water-projectiles as the force of the whirlpool is pulling down as mentioned before. 2. I haven't seen people mention having it uncontrolled yet so maybe adding that for a certain effect. 3. what about adding something to reverse it into a cyclone, pulling objects up into to the center and being exposed to pressure of some kind or risk being thrown out. 4. saving somebody who doesn't breathe underwater by making them the center of the cyclone and thus having them on the sea floor. These are a couple of ideas I had for uses of this as people mentioned it may only have a particular reasoning. Hope this helps. I am new to this system so I don't know about which power combinations to get this working, but I am loving this system so far
