  1. My general question is the following How would you people design a power that takes over another persons summon power, transformation power and so on We meet a group of magicians last adventure and that question come up when they started to summon a great demon that they would control. What I wanted to do was to hijack the power and when the summoning was done I would be in charge over the demon instead. Have you people any idéa how to make a power like that ?
  2. I have a multipower and in it I have a standard barrier power Wall of Earth Barrier 4 PD/4 ED, 6 BODY (up to 12m long, 4m tall, and 1m thick), Opaque (Sight Group) just for an example from the book I use it and put it up infront of me during my first phase. Then on my second phase I can act again I switch to another power in my multipower slot Now what happens with the wall According to the text in the rule book for 6:edition it should stay there since it is a physical object? A Barrier, once created, is a physical object that remains in existence until destroyed by attacks, the passage of time, or other factors. Or does the "other factors" imply here and remove the barrier?
  3. So i could just with special effect say it is magic instead of electricity?
  4. I will try to explain in more detail as much as possible. First of I think the best term is cyborg. The character is still biological with cybertech. Something like shadowrun were there is biotech and cybertech But instead of being powered up with electricity and reciving electrical signals to the brain and all the body function it is instead mana aka magic
  5. Yes. I'm well aware of that but thanks for reminding me ^^
  6. First of we are playing 6th edition and the world we are in is modern day with magic and aliens In my hero group that I'm playing atm I want to make a form of magical cyborg/android It will be a cyborg/android but powered up with magic and all that instead of electricity because I don't want my character be seen with "Sense electrical" or something like that Should I just explain that with just cosmetic text or do I have to make powers and complication to match and if I have too do that then do you people have any suggestions?
  7. Me and some friend been checking 6th edition rule book 2 around page 147. why aren't electricity defined as Energy Same with Fire and then there is an acid attack that is defined as Energy in the example feels like there is stuff that been forgotten to be written to define would be nice to have this cleared up
  8. Hi I'm Illaden, The name was an inspiration from the Greece story illiaden not the Warcraft character illidan Been playing tabletop RPG since I was 11 so around 15 years now The first tabletop RPG I played was called EON a Swedish fantasy rpg The first Tabletop RPG I Gm:ed was also a swedish rpg called Mutant heir of the apocalypse (best translation I could find) Atm I'm playing loads of diffrent RPG such as Exalted, Heroes 6:th edition, Shadowrun and will start with Dungeons and dragons 5th edition soon
  9. I thank you all for the answeres you been giving me. It has been realy helpful
  10. To start of we are using 6ed and we are also using hero fantasy and star hero as additional source Now in certain fantasy and supernatural shows, movies and even games there is this creation called a homunculus. Now this is some sort of entity that lives for awhile but is mostly lojal to its creator if I have understand it correctly. Now I wonder how to make a power that creates them since it isn't a regular summon and not a regular follower either because it can work independently but will follow orders and also not disappere after x orders.
  11. I would be glad If I could get some help with another spell I been thinking about since I'm still not used to trigger advantage and long term effect It will also be a trigger and will be casted on the target when the target makes a promise to them The trigger will be when the target breaks the oath or the promise and either drain or deal damage to the person when perfomring certein actions as long as doesn't amend for the breaking promise or oath
  12. with that explanation it made it easier to understand. I thank you very much
  13. hmm true I was kind of vague, Well I want it to work like a trap were I place the runes on the person, when it meet certain condition it will explode . Kind of like in fallout 3 with the slave collar that will exploade if you try to run just for an example but I don't want them as a focus (tho focus as a requirement to place them np) it can also be that I'm still not used to how the Herosystem and FHC works and need to see more examples of certain powers and so on also we were using 6th edition version
  14. Cantriped it looks nice but somehow it feels like it doing something that i don't want to. I can't put my finger but it just feels something is off
  15. Wow never thought about that. Thank you very much. this feels like I will save me like 50-60 points after just looking at this example
  16. Hi everyone I have some design question now since we are starting up a new campain with my group and I was wondering something I want to make a power that hit the target and put 3-5 runes on their body. These runes doesn't do anything until the target do something that mets the requirement for them to explode I'm guessing it is some form of trigger on it but what more? haven't found any other advantages and Limitations that will make it to what I want it to do
  17. That makes sense if we take the charge limitation in to the value Thanks for a good explenation
  18. I been with discussion with a friend and all and I was going to build a Side effect that revolved aroung age. Now I play a 24 year old character and wanted the side effect make my character like 8-10 years younger wich would limit the number of uses very drasticly And I also want it for the dramatic effect like " ohh no our hero has become a teenager" THe power i have in mind is a big high risk with high reward power and I also want it to do have a great impact when using it hence the reverse ageing Now to the real question that I want opinions about is How much would the reverse ageing and ageing need to be to count as a side effect and how would you consider it's worth when you now about the age of the character
  19. I thank you all very much for the tips It made it so much easier to create the character
  20. I want to create a character that has no eyes, no nose, mouth or ears but can smell, see and all that stuff regulary like talking and stuff like that How do I do with complications and powers?
  21. Thank you all for the help also thanks for the example of how the multipower would look like.
  22. Hi I hope this is the right place to ask this question I'm been wondering for awhile now how to create a focus with a multiform attached to it. How it would look like to have a rifle goes to a sword in terms of game rules since I want to create a weapon that feel that it is from Final Fantays or something thank you beforehand
