  1. I decide to build a power for my haemptomancer (see Haemptomancy) like this.

Mental Defense (20 points total), Resistant (+1/2) (30 Active Points); Costs Endurance (-1/2), Gestures, Requires Gestures throughout (-1/2), Restrainable (-1/2) with the description as blood blocking my brain my rushing blood to the top of the head.

I am not sure that this actually seems appropriate for my haemptomancer. Would you:

    A) Allow something like this?

    B) Consider this appropriate for the character?

    C) Consider this a different power?

  2. I am waiting for a response from Steve on this topic, but I will ask the general public.

If I use A DoT Power That Is Inside of a Multipower (Or Even VPP, But This Is More For My Character) Do I Have To Keep The Slot Active In Order For The Power To Run its course or am I allowed to switch my slot?

  3. Not quite the definition I'm looking for. I was more using it as say a way to control my own destiny as such as term. And Yes, That Is exactly what Blood divination is.

  4. I appreciate everything that you have said. And yes, I do see how this may be a problem. I understand now that I can't build a generic power, so I won't try to. Although, it does seem a bit strange the technicalities you have to work through. I actually love telekinesis much more than "Blood Control" as my GM called it. So, thank all who answered and I say "Good Night."

  5. Ok, What I mean is that I want to MANIPULATE Blood, such as making a barrier of blood or launching missiles of blood from my weapons. In essence, imagine a fire mage with fire emerging from his staff. Now, imagine the same except the "Staff" is a spiked knuckle and the "fire" liquid blood.

  6. I'm making a character that uses blood as a divination. I know how to build many of the powers I want, but I don't know how to build his ability to control blood. I've thought about a way to do this.

Mind Control (Blood Class Of Minds) Based on CON -1, However I want it to be indefinite that I can control blood, not it being based on a number of dice.

So, if I come up with an idea for this, please let me know.   :)

  7.

Super easy to do. Buy your baseline defense, whatever you want it to be. So if you've got 20/20 defense before your power kicks in, buy that.

Then... buy more. Put a limitation on the extra defense, "only vs last attack hit with" or something. So you've got 20/20 defense all the time, but 30/30 total.

There are many other ways to do this. I personally do not believe that extra defense is the best way to do this. Besides, this doesn't defend against mental attacks either.

I think it's Transform. Define it as a Major Transform "Transforms from a Character With An Immunity to A Character with another Immunity." Recovers via "Being Hit with another attack." Make Sure you buy enough transform to cover your BODY Score (probably by double to make sure.) Also, if you do this take the advantages "Improved Results Group" at the +1/4 level (To Show That you can transform yourself to have any immunity, but nothing else) and "Reduced Endurance" and take the limitations "No Conscious Control at the -1 Level (signifying that you have control over effect, but not occurrence), No Range, and Limited Target at the -1 Level (Self only).

  8. I was thinking of making a trigger to add STR to my character when he goes enraged, and I know I should get No Conscious Control, but I do not know if I should also have Uncontrolled on it as well. I don't think it makes senses in the situation, but, since I do have to spend the most points possible, do I need to put Uncontrolled on this power? :mars:

  9. Actually, I thought of something. Built it as a multiform with both Requires an Ego Roll and Side Effects (If Ego Roll Fails, Enraged/Berserk is put on my character until I recover the body)! The AI idea is a good one, but what do you think of this one? If you think of anything else, please put it on here because your idea was gold!

  10. This may be my best question yet. I have a summon with side effects yet I don't want it to be a different being, maybe the same person with different powers like multiform. The problem is that I don't really know if this is multiform due to the nature of the spell. I want to still have an ego roll to control "the summoned" in which "the summoned" has the same ego as the base character. I want the side effect to be that he loses control of himself and can't control his actions "Enraged/Berserk". I don't know what to build this as. What do you think?
