LordLeoToledo got a reaction from pbemguy in What other superhero RPGs have you played?
I started gaming in the 80s and Champions was first, then Superworld. In fact, ran  a loose SW campaign that started as a CoC (Call of Cthulhu) game , on and off for nearly a decade. Also  tried Marvel TSR and Gurps.

What does a Real Physicist do while confined to home due to the virus?

She builds a Bose-Einstein condensate remotely from home.

(BTW, the female pronoun there is not gratuitous.)

“If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you.”

What Johnson said was true back then and it remains true today. All you have to do is surf enough alt-right/men's rights movement channels on Youtube; the people who receive the most money are crafty in how they package their racist ideologies.

JmOz, there's much validity in what you say, and it's an issue that needs to be addressed. But never forget, a poor white person can put on nice clothes and most of society won't give them a second glance. Many people will never see past a black person's skin, no matter what they wear. In fact black people in nice clothes or driving a quality car often attract more suspicion, not less.

Economic classicism and racism are two sides of the same coin, and focusing only on either will solve nothing.

You are correct. I am not saying the 6E way is wrong. I just prefer the aesthetic of the previous build.

    I prefer:
Transfer: Transfer END 4d6 (60 Active Points) Real Cost: 60 CP

    over
Transfer: Drain END 4d6 (40 Active Points); Unified
Power (-.) (total cost: 32 CP) plus Aid END 4d6 (standard effect:
same roll as Drain dice), Trigger (when character uses Drain,
activating Trigger takes no time, Trigger immediately automatically
resets; +1) (48 Active Points); Only Aid Self (-1), Linked (-.),
Unified Power (-.). Real Cost: 51 CP

    and
Instant Change: Switch one set of clothes for another. Real Cost: 3 CP

    over
Instant Change: Cosmetic Transform 1d6 (standard
effect: switch one set of clothes for another), Trigger (changing
    clothing is a Zero Phase Action, Trigger automatically resets;
+.) (5 Active Points); Limited Target (the character’s current
clothing; -.). Real Cost: 3 CP
