Ninja-Bear
Hello Herodom, Has anyone written up the aforementioned Dragon Staff? Resplendent Dragon is found in UMA 4th but is also mention in Thrilling Places. The Staff it self isn’t so much a problem but I’m considering how to write up the Master of the Staff ability. So a Master can hit you twice in one Phase with the staff being in 4th it is recommended that this ability is either a larger Attack with Red Pen. to represent the 2 hits or Autofire. Since I’m going to use it in 6th, I’m thinking of using Two Weapon fighting Skill. Yes technically it’s one weapon but special effects and all that. Oh and I’m looking at Heroic level if that makes a difference. Thoughts? Suggestions?
Grailknight
If you can describe to yourself why the simple Autofire build wouldn't work, you'll know how you want it built. I'm all for KISS here.
LoneWolf
I would go with the two weapon fighting myself. Since Multiple-Attack did not exist in 4th edition they had to use other ways. I would simply consider each end of the staff to be a separate weapon and allows it. I would also not limit this to just attacking the same character twice. The wielder of the staff could also attack two separate targets. Ninja-Bear

I could just do AF but since we now have new options should I use the new options?

Forgot to mention that I was going to write up the Dragon Staff as a MP cause the ends (claws) can be manipulated to either do Normal Damage or Killing. Would that affect using Multiattack? Grailknight
Not unless you want to do Normal and Killing Damage in the same round. But that still wouldn't affect Multiattack, it would just require a larger Reserve.
