Major Tom 2009
Has anyone playing FH managed to come up with a racial package deal that would allow GMs or their players to write up hobgoblin characters for their campaigns as well as for the background setting of said campaigns? I'm asking because in recently reading through my copy of FH, I couldn't find such a deal for hobgoblins, whereas there were such things for those races which are typical adversaries of fantasy adventurers. Christopher R Taylor
Fantasy Hero 6th edition has a Goblin and Orc package deal, you could probably extrapolate what you figure a Hobgoblin is from those.
LoneWolf
In all honesty there is not really that much difference between and orc and a hobgoblin. Looking at the orc template in the book it comes out to be a 0-point template. By default, all it does is to make some adjustments on stats. In the Hero System it’s all about the points. Package deals are just guidelines for how certain things can be done. The package deals in Fantasy Hero are also pretty generic so if you really need a package deal just use the orc package deal and change the name. In other game systems this is usually frowned on, but in Hero System it is pretty normal. drunkonduty
