Rebar
Inspired by the post 'Powers' Activation Time' thread: I would really like to see HG produce a Quick Ref booklet of very common charts. I did my own photocopy version and then lost it. I'd like to see: STR chart throwing chart combat maneuvers chart (all of them in one place!) roll modifiers chart (per as well as pre) mind control 1,2,3 list materials def/bod chart attack modifier formula reverse modifier formula (for the players, so they don't know the villain's CVs) a dozen others that I'll add as I go. Anyone else? Am I behind the times? Does this already exist as a HG product?
Fenixcrest
Indeed. It took me forever to reproduce all those tables for my GM screen. I wish I could find these things in stores besides sometimes my local comic shop and that one anime con that comes around every summer. Derek Hiemforth
I wouldn't be interested in this, personally. One person's "very common chart" is another person's seldom-used waste-of-space. I think your original method was the best one; if someone wants a "cheat sheet" of frequently referred-to charts, he or she can assemble one via photocopy. And as long as they don't distribute it to anyone else, and as long as they own the books from which they got the charts, this wouldn't even violate DOJ's copyrights, AFAIK. I'm almost certain this would fall under "fair use" (though, in fairness, IANAL). Besides, this method gives you exactly the charts you want to see. Having said all that, the booklet that comes with The HERO System Resouce Kit might fit the bill for what you want...

dugfromthearth
I would like a cost chart listing all of the powers, skills, etc by name with the costs for them, then the advantages, disads, etc. it would be handy for character creation

devilspork
I found a handy set of charts from Fitz's HERO System Stuff link under Misc. HERO System Links. His charts include: -Impairment Effects -Disabling Effects -Bleeding -Recovery Time -Combat Maneuver Tables -Hit Locations -Special Hit Locations -Strength Table -Encumberance Table -Throwing Table -Sense Per. Modifer Tables --Skill Roll Mods -Contacts Mods -Range Mods -Time Chart -Mental Powers Tables -Falling and Velocity Tables -Object BODY and DEF Tables -And a few others Seems pretty complete, but I think I'm still going to buy a copy of the System Resource Kit. http://mojobob.netnet.net.nz/roleplay/herosystem.html is the link, it's the GM Screen. Rebar
Oh, I looked very carefully at the GM's ref screen first. But, according to the description at least, it doesn't have as comprehensive a set of charts as I'd like.

Yeah, it was missing a few of the combat charts... *looks at pdf* the DCV modifiers and the combat modifiers. It does remind me, though- I gotta make a copy of the skill modifier chart for my screen. I have to admit, though, if I hadn't already started reproducing tables, the thing is hella convenient. My scans are all kinda crappy. =( I've had to go through and clarify all the plus signs. Oh well. It's good enough for my purposes. I might print better versions for the PC side of the thing..

Tom Carman
I have some old quick reference sheets that have been floating around the net for a few years. They are 4th edition, but mostly still relevant. http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/Tom_Carman/download.htm
