Cancer
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Seven scientists and technicians who analyzed seismic activity ahead of the devastating earthquake that struck the Italian town of L'Aquila on 6 April 2009 will indeed face trial for manslaughter, a judge announced last week. The defendants are members of Italy's great risks committee, whose job is to assess risks of potential natural disasters. A year ago, they were accused by L'Aquila prosecutors of having failed to provide adequate warning of the magnitude-6.3 earthquake that killed 308 people. Happy not to be in Italy. Darbor
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Oddly enough the managers of our client company don't really approve of either option. They certainly give me cause to want to use either or both on a nearly daily basis.
Cancer
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER It is a pity that managers are not treated as a consumable supply the way line workers and programmers are. Creation-implementation employees should be rated on the novelty, robustness, and overall effectiveness of the measures they take against managers who need elimination from the company. Top marks go to the team that leaves only DNA analysis as the way to identify positively the remains of their ex-manager.

Cancer
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Heh. A friend of mine is married to a molecular biologist, and has observed that at parties, the husbands of molecular biologists stand around talking about sports, weather, cars, whatever. The molecular biologists stand around talking about untraceable ways to get rid of people and dispose of bodies untraceably.

Cancer
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER The problem seems to be that the moment arm available on student brains is very, very short. Alternately, the line of action is parallel to the force applied, so sine θ is zero.

Cancer
Re: Longest Running Thread EVER Hmm. A dispensing machine operated with a socket-wrench type of arm, and a large selection of fixed-length arms. They have to compute which length to use in order to get the reward dispensed. Hmmmmmm.
