Okay,before I read everything I'm going to say it doesn't sound like a disad, sounds really common/normal and of course all drains/etc. normally affect everyone, aside from any particular lims. But I'll check the thread - it's oddly long on this - and come back and edit this post (add to it) in just a bit... no change - but I think it would be neat if the character took damage from drains as he describes.
