I haven't been entirely grossed out since reading the flaying scene in Kushiel's Dart. Though I sometimes feel weird and don't want to eat after discussing cutting people open for too long. I very seldom get colds. Maybe a flu every other year, but not just a cold. I get them all the time. When I was a kid, I'd get about four a year. I've averaged 1 - 2 per year since reaching adulthood. I haven't had the flu in YEARS, though. I also get a flu shot, like clockwork, every fall. Working retail can toughen your immune system right up, meeting so many new, interesting, plague-ridden people very briefly every day.
