AliceTheOwl
Re: The Last Word Ah. So you get another round of Kitty Hammock every time you use the restroom. Fun. At least the photos generate you rep. ^ v ^
Cancer
Re: The Last Word That only lasted about three weeks, actually. Its major impact came from its unexpectedness.
AliceTheOwl
Re: The Last Word What? The rep, or the kitty hammock? I have yet to meet a kitten who hasn't done that, honestly. Herc was too big to try when we got him, but Risu picked it up right when my period had started. She cut it out pretty quickly; apparently that scent repels animals. Cancer
Re: The Last Word The hammock thing only lasted about three weeks. Part of that was the diffusion effect: during that time we opened more doors and allowed them more of the house to spread out in, so they spent less time in the bathroom. AliceTheOwl
Re: The Last Word Do they like to carry things off? For the longest time, Josh and I thought we were losing our minds, because these little things we'd set down wouldn't be there when we were looking for them. Turns out they were all under the futon, because the kitten had carried them off to her stash. Silly thing.
Cancer
Re: The Last Word I think they do, but I haven't noticed any of mine missing that could be easily explained by kittens. My wife, though, seems to have had some stuff go wandering. Now, she misplaces things MUCH more frequently than I do, for what that's worth. The things I've noticed the kittens carrying (or batting) off are things I would expect: small cloth things, shreds of feathers, balls and toys, etc.
AliceTheOwl
Re: The Last Word Risu, in the last week, has carried off two empty zip-lock freezer bags and a packet of dried apricots. She doesn't like dried apricots, and I've tried explaining that to her whenever she carries them off. Funny; she can understand me perfectly fine when I mutter, "You'll get wet if you go up there."
