Description:
His appearance is rather anime like. He has natural forest green hair and his eyes have long since changed to a brilliant Violet. His skin has darkened to a tan but he still looks fairly average in the 'good looks' department. He dresses by his mood which ranges from goth when depressed to preppy when he's cheerful

BACKGROUND
Scott was born into a well to do family. He attended good schools got fairly good grades when he bothered to show up But never put much effort expect in his art classes. His parents where not very thrilled by this. His father was an engineer and his mother was a regular suzie home maker.

Scott did however learn to enjoy his powers once he found out he had them. He had learned of them after his attempt to impress a goth girl in his chemistry class with a demon drawing that she had paid him to draw (paid him cheaply of course). He was attacked by her boyfriend that had misunderstood his intentions (not really) and to top it off the goth girl had laughed at him, But they stopped laughing when the demon that he had drawn ripped it self free and became a full sized terror that killed and left him with a blank sheet of paper. Scott had run away and left them all to their fate, He didn't regreat his choice and the police never proved he had done anything.

However Days later his demon came to him to finish what it had started by killing him. In his fear he had yelled out no as anyone would do..to his surprise the demon did stop..and tried to attack again with the same effect. To make a long story short after finding himself getting tired he knew he could control the demon and quickly commanded before he collapsed for the demon to return to it's paper.Several days later after explaining as much as he could to his parents for the mess he began experimenting with his power. He could bring forth anything he drew..with a great cost in endurance.

PERSONALITY
Scott is pretty cocky for a kid that can summon almost anything from anything HE has drawn. He hates bullies and Toughs and has little worry that people would actually miss those types of a people. However he's weak willed against attractive girls and easily scared off by anything that gets by his creations.

Summon Something to kill his foes and if foes are more powerful teleport himself into his artistic world where it's safe.
CAMPAIGN_USE
A very scary type of villian that could bring the heroes worst nightmares to life.

Probably a better choice to make the followers amicable rather than to rely on 6d6 Mind Control; the MC won't be worth much if you're trying to run the character in a villain campaign, and if you're the GM then you don't need to sweat the points anyway. ;)

 

Also, amicable at the +1/4 level is fairly cheap.

Of course, his sidekick would be a beautiful drawing of a hot anime babe (perhaps changing hair color, and clothes occasionally when Scott gets bored). Like most anime babes, she has a quick temper and a mean melee attack, but can easily be sidetracked. Much to Scott's frustrating, although she is quite willing to do anything he wants, she ...um... well, think paper cuts where you don't really want paper cuts. :)

Well trying to keep the character by Active costs of 40 by the teen campaign I'm in right now.

Well, your character and all. :) Still, if I were the GM I'd look at 6d6 Mind Control and rule that you could only on average get the characters to do what they already wanted to do anyway. Why not go with a 40 active point Multipower? Each slot can summon a different type of Amicable servant (the most powerful of which will be 160 points), including one slot that can call up any Amicable 90 point character. No Mind Control Issues, and more raw power, for about the same points.

So many interesting ideas being thrown around here it seems. So lets make it more interesting. How would you build Scott for your campaign and limits.

 

So far I have three ideas that all go around the general theme of artist that brings his art work to life.

 

controls either through Mind Control,Enhanced Presence only against his constructs or Amicable enhancement added to the summon instead of Difficult to Dispel.

So go wild, have fun.

Almost the same expect now in his present form I'd say his experience with the demon was certainly less than harmful and when it arrived at his home it was disappointed that he didn't stay to watch.

His control is more of a force of self. More powerful than mind control because his creations know deep down he made them. >.> kinda scary ain't it? he can draw anything, and yet he's a wus against anyone else. (especially attractive girls)

If you haven't read it already, I highly reccomend to you a book by Aaron Allston called "Galatea in 2-D". It's about an artist who discovers powers very similar (though more extensive) to Scott's.

 

On his web page, Aaron lists the following Hero power constructs that simulate his hero's abilities:

 

 

Extra-Dimensional Movement

For pulling people/things out of paintings or pushing them in, and for traveling between paintings

Interdimensional, Usable Against Others, Invisible Power Effects

High mass multiplier (example 11 people and 1 car)

Thats generally where I was going with scotts powers when I started designing him.

I'm a big fan of the novel.

 

Well, I figured that, but just in case....

 

Yeah, I really like the book too. My only frustration with it was that Roger wasn't a gamer, and so didn't make the most intelligent use of his powers. :)
