transfer/aid w/ limited points

Build a power that progressively drains stun over an area effect from the character’s enemies. At the same time it progressively adds those points to his allies. None of the points can be used by the character and the power has an active point limit of 75.

Re: transfer/aid w/ limited points

You're definitely looking at two powers here. But the problem is, an AE Selective Drain is fairly expensive. You're looking at a (+1.25) advantage on a power that's already 15 points per die.

You could alternatively buy it as a Drain, AE Selective, and link an END reserve to it. Then run an AE Selective Succor off the end reserve, triggered by the Drain (looking at a +1.5 advantage now), limited Only Up To Active Points Drained (-1/2). Now you're chewing up not a ton of your own endurance, and you're having a noticeable effect on the battle.

By any chance, is this power idea from City of Heroes? Sounds familiar.

Re: transfer/aid w/ limited points

Adding to STUN runs up against limits quickly and drains away, so sidestep the problem:

Area of effect selective transfer STUN to RECOVERY, useable by others but not by self (you'd have to specify how many of your chums get to use it and pay for the advantge accordingly)

Don't have to book to look up exact values but, so it may be out but:

TRANSFER 15 AP for 1d6 (STUN TO REC) + 16 added to pool (+8 AP) to total 22 points to transfer.

Advantages

Selective AE radius (+1.25)

UBO (+1 for 4 other people to use it)

Real cost: 75, active points 75

Howzat?

(or you can do it STUN to STUN, but that will fade and limits how much stun you can add)
