Elbandit
Howdy! Can you entangle someone who is protected by a force wall? If you are behind a force wall can you use your entangle attack agianst a foe?

If you are behind a force wall can you use your entangle attack agianst a foe? You can only do it if the Entangle is purchased with Indirect, or if the FW is transparent to PD. NuSoardGraphite
Re: Entangle vs Force Wall Howdy! Can you entangle someone who is protected by a force wall? If the Entangle is built with the Indirect advantage, then yes, you can bybass a Force Wall to entangle someone. Another option is of the Entangle is built with enough Area Effect to cover the forcewall. That would work as well, but it wouldn't prevent the person(s) inside the entangle from using any hand-held weapons/attacks to try and break out. If you are behind a force wall can you use your entangle attack agianst a foe? Again, Indirect is needed, or FW Transparent to Pysical or Energy depending on the SFX of the Entangle. Sean Waters
Re: Entangle vs Force Wall The only power you can use through an englobing force wall without buying indirect is TK, as it is already built in, so no, you can't attack with entangle through a force wall in either direction. HOWEVER, entangle already has AE elements (the wall builder) so if someone is englobed in a (small) force wall or a personal force wall, you could wall them in, and they'd then have to drop the FW or use an indirect power to attack the entangle wall all around them and over them. They are not technically entangles, but still need to knock a hole in the wall before they can go anywhere.

I think that Mental Powers and some others might qualify as well, unless the Force Wall specifically provides the appropriate defense.
