Dr Rotwang!
You're not attacking with it; you'll use another maneuver next Phase. So what's it there for? I used to know, but now I forget. So I guess I'm not so much stupid as I am, um...well, me forget stuff.
MitchellS
Re: Remind me again why the "Parry" maneuever gets an OCV bonus. It's a block. It's ocv versus ocv. The parry gets plusses to your side of the ocv roll.
Derek Hiemforth
Re: Remind me again why the "Parry" maneuever gets an OCV bonus. Parry is a Block maneuver. Block manuevers are resolved OCV vs. OCV.

Dr. Anomaly
Re: Remind me again why the "Parry" maneuever gets an OCV bonus. ...good lord' date=' I [i']am[/i] stupid. Don't feel bad. All of us have occassional moments of not being able to see the obvious. (And in my case, that's usually immediately followed by tripping over it and smashing my nose into something. )
NuSoardGraphite
Re: Remind me again why the "Parry" maneuever gets an OCV bonus. Lets not forget also that block can be done multiple times in one's phase at a cumulative -2 OCV penalty for each Block after the first. Thus, the +2 OCV bonus to Block in the Martial Block maneuver allows a character to block multiple attacks better....
