Looking for expanded PRE Attack effects

Some time ago I found a proposal for expanding the effects of PRE Attacks beyond the "EGO + 30" range. I found it interesting, saved it, printed it, and then lost every trace of it.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find it again? I've Googled without success.

Re: Looking for expanded PRE Attack effects

"The Ultimate Supermage" by Dean Shomshank (which, BTW, is a great book) deals with massive PRE attacks (in this context to represent supernatural horror for Lovecraftian monsters). I have gamed with this concept and it works great for evil types, but be careful if one of your PCs asks for this ability because it will effectively end a lot of combats with few if any shots fired.

Re: Looking for expanded PRE Attack effects

Neither of those are precisely what I was looking for, though the USM is closer in concept to the article I'm thinking of.

The article had specific result bands for EGO/PRE +40, +50 and +60. Whether it's really worth while going to that much specific detail is a matter of opinion, and certainly it's not the sort of thing that's likely to be a regular feature of any campaign I run (much to the relief of my players, no doubt :) )

Re: Looking for expanded PRE Attack effects

I think it would be intresting to expand PRE atack effects sideways rather than up: the nature of the attack would determine the effects, so you might have a PRE attack that is terrifying - and more likely to make you run of faint, or awe-inspiring, making you more likely to obey commands, or love-creating, making you likely to try and prevent harm to the PRE-attacker....I think there is a lot of room for interesting effects here!
