Powerhouse
I'm working on Bluebolt, the Sentinels of Justice Speedster (seventh character of my Silver Age team- yahoo!). I'm giving him a MP where one of the slots is: Hand-To-Hand Attack +6d6, Autofire (5 shots; +1/2) (45 Active Points); Hand-To-Hand Attack (-1/2) So the question is: is this character throwing 6d6 punches or 9d6 punches (with a 15 STR)? On the one hand, HA is supposed to add to str for damage but then again, I didn't buy Autfire for STR. Thank you for your help in this matter. Vondy
Re: Question about HA and Autofire 9D6. See "Strength and Advantaged HAs" on Page 408 of Hero System 5th Edition, Revised.

pinecone
Re: Question about HA and Autofire I don't know the power level you're at but He might be happier with a smaller AP HA....AP or Pen is wicked cool when combined with Auto fire...so look at HA +4D6 AP Auto as an option as well.....Or for 45 points AP, Auto, REnd>0 HA +3D6 (6D6 with STR and you don't get winded......) Blue
Re: Question about HA and Autofire Trying to jog my memory after reading the question above; The END cost still applies for the STR on each punch, correct?
Lightray
Each punch uses the full END cost -- STR + HA. In the example, that'd be 5 END (1 from 15 STR, 4 from 45 active pt HA). If he's using all 5 shots, that's 25 END.
