Killer Shrike
Re: Judging The Strength of Challenges/Encounters? Try here. Is the person that designed that page color blind? It might be the greatest thing ever, but Ill never know because it gives me a splitting headache to look at it.
Alibear
Re: Judging The Strength of Challenges/Encounters? I always start my new pc's against a horde of small bad guys to gauge combat efectivness. 40 gobbos for a fantasy campaign, 40 150 point ninja for supers, then build up the surly level of the bad guys 'til they get their bum kicked. It works for me.
Roy_The_Ruthles
Re: Judging The Strength of Challenges/Encounters? it's really a touch and go thing, make sure the speed isnt' too high, the armor and attacks are about right, and then just add some DR (to oversimplyfy alot)
