Mister E
Re: i Can't Die! No matter How Much I want To! A friend of mine in a Warhammer campaign I wasn't in, spent a real-life year roleplaying a character that was paralyzed from the waist down. I guess he spent most of the time roped to his horse. What a trooper. He finally got healed by a priest of Shallya, and that same session died with another character under a falling boulder. It set a precedence for all future games, to the point that pretty much no matter what happens to our characters, as long as they are more or less playable, we feel we must continue playing them in honor of that poor horse-bound character. GAZZA
Re: i Can't Die! No matter How Much I want To! If you're prepared to use a house rule or two, the Incomplete Character rules can simulate this pretty well (you just create a character that Lacks BODY). Doesn't seem to still be around anywhere, but if you go via the Wayback Machine: http://web.archive.org/web/20020410004943/http://jimalj.best.vwh.net/incomp.html
Thia Halmades
Re: i Can't Die! No matter How Much I want To! This is a similar character to the one in Wild Cards (and it's one of the a handful of characters I remember). James Somethingorother -- the cat who could kill with a stare, also couldn't die. That was his thing. He had total regen. The only way this character really works is with: Healing: Regen: Lost Limbs Healing: Ressurection Healing: Regeneration You need all of the above to keep the character from sucking.
