Not so silly. She's in Evil Unleashed, but either thats her first appearance or i dont know where she originated from.

Makeshift had his debut this weekend alongside Apex, and I was quite happy with the characters performance. The "feel" of the character is good, and his capabilities are so varied that the character feels very "toolboxy" -- he had a response to a lot of scenarios, and despite mixing it up a good deal, still had tricks up his sleeve that he didn't use yet.

 

The only real wrinkle for the character was that the suits initial build had Flash Defense (inherited from the Anklyosaur armor's design), but it was scrapped for points in the later stages of development of the character. Sure enough, first session out he got flashed for a TURN...The player used it as an opportunity for comic relief, saying (in-C)..."Agh! I knew I shouldn't of taken those optic filters out! WHAT was I THINKING?" {smacks forehead}

 

 

Other than that one unfortunate incident, Makeshift mixed it up with a beefed up Ogre and Lazer quite handily, ringing Lazer's bell pretty effectively and whittling Ogre's STUN handily.

 

All in all, though there were some tactical decisions I thought odd choices (but the character has zero tactical acumen anyway, so --eh-- great tactics wouldn't be in character anyway), the actual performance of the character was very good.

 

I think this one is a keeper...improving the suits' helmet w/ some FD and IR or Night visions and HRRP would be a big step in filling in the few significant gaps outstanding.
