Acrobatics in Combat: A character with Acrobatics skill can choose to use it during combat to augment their attack or defense. To use it, the character must make an Acrobatics "Half-Move". If they successfully make their Acrobatics skill roll, the character can gain a +1 either to OCV or to DCV for the Phase. If the skill roll is a Critical Success, the bonus is increased to +2 (to either OCV or DCV, one or the other, it can't be split between the two) An Acrobatic Martial Dodge can be incredibly effective! On a failed skill roll, the character is thrown off balance and suffers a -2 to both OCV and DCV for the remainder of the Phase. Combat Skill Levels: Adding Damage to attacks...I use both the Heroic (2 CSL's per +1DC) and the Superheroic (2 CSL's per +1 Body damage or +3 Stun) in all campaigns I run. I like the options and this gives something extra for CSL specialists to do with all their extra skill levels. Two Weapon Combat: I run TWC as per the 5th edition, not the 5ER. MorpheousXO Posted June 7, 2007 Report Share Posted June 7, 2007 Re: House Rules Thunderdome - post yours here I think it recomends that you use -2 if you allow people to use sweep and such without TWF, but if you don't then you should use the -1/2. The reason being that if everyone can sweep, then why spend 10 points for no real bonus, while if they don't use the -1/2 because no one else can anyways.
