SteveZilla
Re: Measuring Cunning So how would you buy Cunning Linguist? (I couldn't resist anymore...) The same way you buy a Master Debater. (neither could I...)
casualplayer
Re: Measuring Cunning Cunning is the ability to see X moves ahead, like a chessmaster, and could be measured in Anticimeters.
ghost-angel
Re: Measuring Cunning That really isn't a complete definition. 1 having or showing skill in achieving one's ends by deceit or evasion : a cunning look came into his eyes. • ingenious : plants have evolved cunning defenses. 2 attractive; quaint : the baby will look cunning in that pink print. number 2 I wasn't expecting ... but Cunning is more than just being able to "see X moves ahead" it also involves a certain level of trickery to take advantage of forsight, or simply good evasion skills (like a cunning fox escapes the hounds). Jayne in Firefly used the second definition in reference to the hat his mother knitted him and how it looked on him. Sean Waters has referred to it also more than once in his examples, because it's a British thing I think. I was being more than a smidge facetious, unless Anticimeters actually exist. I thought I made them up.

I figured it was some kind of gross misspelling of something I'd not heard of and completely missed the sarcasm. My bad
CorPse
Re: Measuring Cunning You forgot the 'Window Of Opportunity' limitation I'd be tempted to say this is the cherry on top, but that would probably be taking things a little too far...
