[Character] Gorilla the Ogre

Ok this is my first write up for a fantasy campaign. I present to you a major NPC in my campaign world. Gorilla the ogre. Owner and propriater of the Jolly Ogre Inn in the city of Freehold. I did not include any of his equipment...mainly because he never needs to use it.

Background: Gorilla was something rare among ogres. He felt no need for a lot of the snsless violence that his race typically exhibited, so at an early age he left his tribe. As he traveled he tried to make friends, but most people seeing him ran away in fear. He eventually found his way to the city of Freehold, where he expected the same treatment, but was suprised that the guards let him walk right past them. As he walked through the city street he was amazed that no one ran from him and even more shocked that a merchant gave him a very decent price for a number of animal skins he had in his pack. He stayed in the city for quite a number of years, finding work with a dwarven weaponsmith, and making many friends, who affectionatly named him Gorilla. After a few years working in with the old smith he decided to take up the life of adventuring. He had many adventures and managed to save up a considerable sum of money. His adventuring career came to an end when he lost one of his eyes. He returned to Freehold and using his vast saving bought several abandon houses and built the Jolly Ogre Inn. The inn was a vast success and over the years he expanded the building and it is now the largest inn/tavern in the city.

Personality: Gorilla is a very kind and gentle soul who is well known throughout the city of Freehold. He does have a temper but it takes alot to set him off. If you do you likely to fins yourself dumped in a large vat of lard and 'skidded' down the street leading up to his inn. Gorilla is a devout follower of Turoch the god of stenght and honor. (Note: Turoch's D&D alignment would be LG. Gorillas would be NG)

Appearance: Gorilla stands nearly 9 feet tall and weighs close to 375 lbs. He skin is greenish in color, his hair is long and black and his one eye is bright orange. He typically wears black pantallons, knee high leather boots and a kitchen apron. He is very clean for an ogre and bathes daily.

Re: [Character] Gorilla the Ogre

Very nice NPC! Now in my own fantasy campaign one of the rare races are Trolls.

I use the Trolls based off the Norse type and not the D&D type. I could see using

this fellow in my own campaign...!

Nicely done guys!

Umm he's an ogre not a troll
