Volunteering for the SS soldier enhancement tests, he was granted the physical and mental attributes of a demigod! He was dubbed Iron Cross and given a specially armored costume and weapons and sent to fight the Allies all over the world.

To his shock and surprise, the war ended badly for the Axis. Undaunted, perhaps even encouraged, by the fall of the Reich, he took some loyal soldiers, a bit of treasure and some promising scientists and escaped Germany, and Europe entirely. Fleeing to the jungles of South America, he began studying with the scientists, his enhanced intelligence allowing him to quickly grasp their theories and areas of specialty. Hist tiny, but wealthy cell kept in touch with others who still held the dream.

It was in the 1960's that he realized that the treatments had kept him young. Perhaps his sanity had been crumbling from day one, but this revelation cemented in his mind his own divinity. Though outwardly he was, and is, unchanged; Kruetz is now operating a cult of personality with himself as God; he's just using the Aryan Ideology to do so. Playing on racial division is more difficult on some levels in the modern era, but not as much as modern society would wish it to be. Dr. Cross still has little trouble in finding men and women to fill his soldiers ranks.

Since 1974, Dr. Cross has made the headlines periodically in his attempts at world conquest. He has been defeated, often by the barest of margins, by heroes of the past, present, and the legacies of his oldest enemies.

One day that will change and the world will acknowledge her master, Felix Kruetz, the Cross. Personality/Motivation: Driven megalomaniac. Hasn't aged more than a year in the last fifty plus and sees himself as immortal. This has accentuated his natural overconfidence and laziness. He lacks a sense of urgency in his plans. He's been tutored by mad scientists and tends to act like one himself. Though he is far more calm. Felix also loves the attention of the fairer sex.Quote: "Ah, my old enemy, we cross swords again, do we not?""Enjoy your victory, younglings, my plans have only been slowed this day, they march ever onward and you cannot hope to end them." Powers/Tactics: In his days as a supersoldier, Iron Cross was a take no prisoners fighter. Supremely athletic, but not an acrobat, he was lethal and preferred efficiency of movement. He's not kept up to form. These days he prefers to wear his armor and rain death from behind his minions. He can be challenged to one on one combat, but in his battle armor he has little to fear from all but the most potent of heroes. Campaign Use: Powerful mastermind backed by an army of nazis and themed supervillains. Appearance: Extremely handsome man of the Aryan Ideal. Blond haired, blue eyed, perfect physique, handsome features and an air of nobility. He dresses in tailored suits, often black with red pinstripes, a gray shirt with a red tie. The Iron Cross battle suit is high tech armor with a bit of a medieval feel, pauldrons, stylized helmet (it's actually sculpted to appear to be his face is silvery white metal on a dark gray helmet), a flowing black and gold cape. The armor is silvery plates over gunmetal gray micro "Chain" mail. His gauntlets, belt, boots, pauldrons, and a circlet on his helmet are all gold.

Dr Cross is less Nazi, more wannabe deity, but he's well versed in the nazi ideals and ...oh crap, I forgot to add his extended lifespan...well, next update...

 

Anywho, he's an international villain, and has upset my mastervillain cartel, the Divine Right, so in addition to his foes from WWII (those who are either still active, or their legacies) he's also hunted by several similarly powerful quasi organizations.

Dr. Cross is a "Supersoldier" with a powerful suit of powered armor. His dex is lower (when not in his armor) than you'd think for a supersoldier because he's kind of lazy. He is stronger than peak human because he does enjoy the weight lifting and running, but he's not much to practicing combat and over the years has gone a bit soft. His impressive speed is more due to his intellect and multitasking ability than his combat training.

Background/History: Ronny Pack was a follower. Always bigger and stronger than everyone else he was used by one smart ring leader after another. Ronny just wasn't smart enough to step out on his own. But when given direction, he could be devastating. Growing up in one of the havens of the white supremest movement, Ronny followed along and never thought to question any of what he was taught.

Ronny was also very shy around women and was generally ignored for the more charismatic boys in his groups. It made him sad, but he was a big dumb brute and a few girls liked that to, so he had a string of "girlfriends" who wanted to use his position in the pecking order, or liked them big, dumb, and easily controlled.

When Ronny's friend Greg joined with the "movement", he followed. He was chosen for his physical attributes and, like Greg, "volunteered" for genetic enhancement. Greg's procedure went wrong and he died in agony. Ronny was scared at first, but when the process was over he had become something far greater than he was before.

Enraptured with Dr. Spriggen, he has remained, and become one of Dr. Cross' elite agents. Originally dubbed Carnivore, Ronny has recently renamed himself Herr Lowe, or Lord Lion.

 

Personality/Motivation: When the genetic material of a Lion was spliced onto Ronny, he gained prototypical physical enhancements. However, the process also increased his intellect. More so than anything else, this has changed him. He was always bigger and stronger than everyone, but now he was smart and he revels in his keener intellect. In the few short years he's been a super villain, Ronny has self taught or sought out knowledge on a wide variety of subjects. It is his greatest treasure.

 

He has also become much more comfortable and capable with the ladies. Ronny is something of a player now, but he's not angry or cruel. He's a ladies man, upfront with his intentions and polite, respectful, and doesn't hold grudges. In fact, of all the members of Cross' elite, only Herr Lowe is not really a Nazi He has found the philosophies flawed and serves out of loyalty and appreciation for what he has been given and a deeply held respect/unrequited love for Dr. Spriggin.

Powers/Tactics: Herr Lowe is a genetically engineered killing machine. However, he is far from an untamed beast. Though his physical prowess and hunter's instincts guide him, he is in total control, he finds berserkers to be foolish wastes of resources. In combat he is efficient in motion, his strength and healing factor (a separate procedure from the animal hybrid procedure) he will endure a few blows to get in a solid hit, relying on his powerful strikes and knowledge of where to place them to carry the day. He has trained himself in the art of Tae Kwon Do to take advantage of his powerful legs.

 

Campaign Use: An elite combat/assassin. Herr Lowe doesn't mind killing his targets, but he doesn't revel in it. He finds brutality beneath him. However, he does have an affection for playing with his prey. He hunts when ordered and then is a patient, persistent hunter who chooses his attacks at inopportune times.

He could actually be a romantic rival or pursuer of a PC, and though his morals are screwed up, he's honorable and even noble in his own way.

 

Appearance: Originally, he was a Sabertooth knockoff. Now he wears a black and gold costume still reminiscent of the marvel villain, but he's lost the ugly sideburns. Its a black body suit with gold "Stripes" on the side of the torso and outside of his legs, gold gloves with no fingers, gold boots, belt , and headgear. He has long gold-blond hair with brown eyes.

 

Like the other elites, he got a wardrobe budget and dresses very well. Unlike the others, he has a sense of style. He dresses in white and gold always with lion themed jewelry, but it's generally subtle enough not to be compared to Liberace

I'm really surprised you didn't name Dr. Cross 'Doktor Kreuz" (Cross in German) or 'Hakenkreuz' (Hooked Cross, an old name for the swastika). It would seem more fitting.

 

An excellent character, BTW. What Dr. Destroyer should have been. :thumbup:

Please also consider changing another name:

 

Herr Löwe translates into Mr. Lion to be precise.

Lord Lion would be Löwenfürst.

Now you've got options.:thumbup:

Löwenbräu means Lion's Brew.

The Brewery can be traced back as far as 1383.

The name Löwenbräu was established in the 18th century because the building of the brewery in munich had a fresko showing Daniel in the Lion's pit.

Panther = Panther (Leopard is the spotted type, while Panther is the black one)

Highspeed = Hochgeschwindigkeit (loose the s, it indicates that there is some part of the word missing)

SiverStar = Silberstern

Mountainside = Berghang (the word Bergabhang exists, it sounds awkward though)

I spent two years at Ramstein Flugplatz and the only real problem I had was when I got into a cab and discovered I had forgotten the words for "Left" and "Right". Hilarity ensued, but I did make it home anyway.
