Blackwolfe
I have a question, what edition is the materials presented on the Wild Hunt and Surbrook's stats? I apologize if this has already been covered but I'm curious because I like the work of both pages and want to know if the free material from both pages can be used in 4th or 5th you know? Chris Goodwin
Re: A question about edition on two sites I think Mike "Susano" Surbrook has either updated or is still in the process of updating his stuff to 5th. The Wild Hunt material looks to be in 5th. If you're using 4th there shouldn't be any real issues with using it as written.
Lord Liaden
Re: A question about edition on two sites Nearly all of "Surbrook's Stuff" has been updated to Fifth Edition, aside from a few things from other contributors than himself IIRC. "The Wild Hunt" is a mixture of Fourth and Fifth Edition material, with the 5E items usually noted as such. And I agree with Chris Goodwin, the two editions are 90% compatible, so things written in one are readily usable in the other with minor tweaks. clsage
Re: A question about edition on two sites My apologies for derailing this thread but..... Gestures (must pound scrotum throughout; -1/2) Wow....I would think that that would be worth at least -3/4....Just my NSHO. I now return you to your prior thread, which is currently in progress. -Carl-

Blackwolfe
Re: A question about edition on two sites Thanks all but knowing that, how hard would it be to convert/use the 4th ed stuff in 5th ed? Like the Imperial Guard from Marvel Comics that's over at the netbook of real heroes?
Susano
Re: A question about edition on two sites As the FAQ states (http://surbrook.devermore.net/index/faq.html), most everything on my site is Hero System 5th Edition Revised. Some stuff is older, but that's restricted to either items I haven't gotten to (for various reasons), or to items sent to me by others. I am debating revising out-of-date write-ups, but probably won't as it isn't my material to begin with.

Gestures (throughout) is -1/2 (i.e. -1/4 x 2). And it doesn't harm the Tanuki any.

Right now I'm trying to enter everything of mine into Hero Designer and update the site to XHTML.
